THIS STORY IS BASED IN BETWEEN EPISODES 43 AND 44 WHERE MYOGA TELLS

THEM ABOUT INUYASHA'S DEMON BLOOD, AFTER THE FIGHT WITH

SESSHOMARU. I WROTE THIS STORY BECAUSE I THINK THAT IF THEY WOULD HAVE

TOLD INUYASHA, HE WOULD HAVE MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE, YES I KNOW

INUYASHA IS A CARTOON, OH I ALMOST FORGOT I DO NOT OWN INUYASHA, BUT I

WISH I COULD DAMN IT.

"I think we should tell him, he deserves to know," "said Kagome as she looked at Inuyasha sleeping by the fire.

"I agree with Kagome," replied Miroku.

"I don't think that we should tell Lord Inuyasha, if we do tell him he might get obsessed with his demon side," ranted Myoga as he jumped up and down by Sango.

"But if we don't tell him, we don't give him the chance to decide and Inuyasha would want to be told, he dose not like to be sheltered," said Kagome her anger rising.

At that moment they all heard a groan, they all turned and saw that Inuyasha was starting to wake up. He opened his eyes and slowly sat up, looking around he saw them all staring at him, he then clutched his head with his hands and whispered, "ohh my head hurts, what happened to my bastard brother." As he started to rub his temples.

Kagome made her way to Inuyasha; bending down so they he could look at one another "she said "do you remember anything."

Inuyasha looked at her and said," I remember my brother showing up for his sword, all of you standing back, losing my sword. Then I felt anger and hate, I wanted to kill but protect at the same time," Inuyasha trailed off looking at Kagome and then turning away, but Kagome could see the blush on his checks.

Kagome looked at the young man in front of her "Inuyasha if you feel good enough to stand lets go for a walk." she held her hand out to him so she could help Inuyasha up, Inuyasha looked up at Kagome and grabbed her hand and help him up, she looked at Miroku. Miroku nodded to her and said to himself 'keep the flea busy.'

As they walked they could feel the light filter through the trees warming there faces, Inuyasha looked at Kagome and then down at the grass and then said ,"I did it again didn't I".

"Yes Myoga told us while you were getting Tentsusaiga fixed, it's when you lose your sword you change to protect yourself," said Kagome.

"It felt weird," replied Inuyasha, "It felt like I was being cut in half with no way of winning the fight Then I felt nothing, no control, no nothing and it was scary waking up to have all of you staring at me like I was a monster or something."

Inuyasha started to hang his head in shame, but Kagome caught his chin and said," but when your like this you are so kind and caring even if you don't want to show it, but I know that you are not the killer. I knew if I told you, you would do everything in your power to protect yourself and the people around you."

Kagome than pulled him into a hug and said," please, please Inuyasha please keep your sword with you at all times."

Inuyasha was shocked at first at Kagome's hug then said," I promise to keep my sword at my side at all times," as he hugged her tighter. Kagome snuggled closer to him and said," thank you."

They were walking back to the camp hand in hand, when Inuyasha said," "thank you for telling me." Kagome looked up at him and said "you have the right to know and chose the path you want to take."

Inuyasha looked at the grass and said, "I already know where I want to go and whom I want to spend my life with," He looked up at Kagome.

Kagome looked at Inuyasha but could not say anything because she was speechless.

They made it back to the camp and Kagome went to the fire and Inuyasha jumped in to a tree. They all saw him hold on to Tentsusaiga like there was no tomorrow coming, they all looked at Kagome. She replied that he now knows the truth much to the fleas distaste.

Meanwhile up in a tree not to far from the camp Inuyasha was in deep thought as he pressed his fathers fang closer to him. He looked up at the stars as his eyes close for the night.

The next day Kagome was at the river getting water for the trip back to Keada's Village when strong arms wrapped around her waist. "Inuyasha is that you," cooed Kagome.

"Why do you want mutt face, when you could have me?"

Kagome dropped the water bottle and screamed as she tried to get away from Koga.

Inuyasha heard Kagome's scream and was gone even before anyone could react.

When Inuyasha got there he saw Koga holding on to Kagome who was trying to get way from him. "Let Kagome go," yelled Inuyasha his voice deep and menacing.

"Stay out of this mutt face," yelled Koga.

"Let her go," yelled Inuyasha his eyes flashing red.

At that moment Kagome twisted her way out of Koga's grasp and ran to Inuyasha hiding behind him for protection.

"Get the hell out of my way mutt, my woman and me have to have a talk."

Kagome doesn't have to do anything she doesn't want to do," said Inuyasha as he pulled Kagome closer to him.

Kagome could hear Koga growling and she rolled her eyes and said, "Koga I don't love you, I don't want to be your mate so get those thought out of your head."

"Did you hear that wolf shit, Kagome doesn't want to be your mate so go away," yelled Inuyasha as he put his hand on the hilt of his sword.

Koga tried again to get past Inuyasha, but he held his ground and kept Koga back.

"Get out of my way," yelled Koga.

"Don't push me," replied Inuyasha.

They stared at each other waiting for the other to make a move first. Kagome who was still behind Inuyasha put her hands on his shoulders. Please don't fight he is not worth the effort, I would not go with him, I am not interested in him cuz I love you, you are the one I want," she whispered to him.

Inuyasha looked back at Kagome and said ,"really, you really want me and not anyone else?"

Kagome nodded her head; it was then they heard a yell to the front of them.

"Never turn your back on the enemy," yelled Koga as he hit Inuyasha head on knocking him to the ground with Kagome under him. Inuyasha slowly got up and turned over to see Kagome had fallen with him and was out. He looked over at Koga who was getting ready for the next blow. Inuyasha gathered Kagome up in his arms and jumped out of the way of Koga's punch.

Inuyasha landed by a tree and put Kagome down as Sango and Miroku came out of the tree line. Inuyasha looked up at them and said, "watch her I have a wolf to kill." He turned and ran into battle, they clashed several times both were cut and breathing hard. Koga came at Inuyasha with all the speed he could muster and hit Inuyasha. Inuyasha went flying going threw two trees and then laid motionless on the ground.

"INUYASHA!" yelled Kagome. She started to run to him when Koga grabbed Kagome and said, "come with me and we'll finally have that talk I want to have with you."

"LET GO OF ME!!!!!!" YELLED KAGOME.

"Let go of Kagome," yelled Sango. She was about to throw her boomerang when she stopped and looked behind her. She saw Inuyasha standing there, his demonic energy swirling around in an angry manner.

Kagome stopped struggling as she felt Inuyasha's demonic energy increase. She then looked at Koga and said," let go of me."

"No way your mine," replied Koga with a cocky smirk.

"No wolf shit she is mine and if you don't get your hands off of her I'll kill you were you stand," said a low gravelly voice.

The next thing Koga felt was his tail being lobbed off. Koga yelled in pain as he let go of Kagome and turned around to face the very pissed off Inuyasha.

Once again they spared back and forth, Inuyasha in his anger struck Koga more and more. But after an hour of fighting both were tired and that was when Koga got a lucky shot in, knocking Tentsusaiga out of Inuyasha's hands. Both Koga and Inuyasha watched as the sword flew up in to the air and then fell back down stabbing the earth, transforming into it's rusted state. Inuyasha looked at Koga and tried to get back to his sword, but Koga blocked his way at every turn. Koga then came from the side and punched Inuyasha in the face. Inuyasha went sliding backwards on his back. When he stopped he gritted his teeth and stood up again, it was when he stood up that the winds started to pick up and it sent a chill down everyone's spine.

Kagome knew what was happening and ran for Inuyasha's sword so she could give it back to him. She was about to grab it when Koga got in the way. "Get away from me you don't know what's happening," she yelled at Koga. Ignoring the chill he got from the wind Koga looked at Kagome and said, "I know what I am doing. I got rid of mutt face." as he wrapped his arms around her waist.

"THE ONLY THING YOU'VE DONE IS PISS ME OFF YOU MANGY FUCK'N EXCUSE FOR A WOLF!," CAME A DEEP MENACING VOICE.

Slowly Koga looked behind him and saw Inuyasha in his demon form, he let go of Kogome and took a step back. But before Koga could react Inuyasha was in his face and knocking him down. Inuyasha then grabbed Koga by the neck and swung him into a tree. Koga hit the tree and slide down, when he opened his eyes, he saw Inuyasha standing over him with a murderous look on his face.

"DON'T KILL HIM!" INUYASHA yelled Kagome.

Inuyasha looked at Kagome and then down at Koga. " Don't touch my bitch or next time I will rip you into confetti," growled out Inuyasha.

"Get the hell out of my face," yelled Koga as he knocked Inuyasha away from him.

Inuyasha landed a few feet away from Koga. He looked at Kagome again and then at Koga.

Koga slowly stood up and thought to himself," "Inuyasha can move faster than me now.' He once again looked at Inuyasha and got a chill down his spine making his hair stand on end. He then thought I have to get Kagome out of here. He rushed over to Kagome and said," I 'll get you out of here."

"Let go of me!" yelled Kagome as she let go of Tentsusaiga and it fell to the ground.

"You have been warned," said Inuyasha. He came at Koga his claws fully extended and aiming for Koga's throat once again Koga started to back away from Kagome (you would think the twit would learn, but any way)

Kagome picked up the Tentsusaiga and ran to Inuyasha who had Koga by the throat. Kagome looked at Inuyasha saying, "please mate take your sword back?" Inuyasha gave her a sideways glance and then on his own he grabbed the sword out of her hands. Inuyasha's vision cleared he saw where he had Koga and smiled squeezing Koga neck drawing blood. He threw him to the ground and said, "get out of my sights or I might just change my mind."

Koga had a stunned look on his face as he watched Inuyasha return to normal and hugged Kagome. Behind them Sango, Miroku, Kelala and Shippo all sighed in relief. They all looked at Koga with a look that would have killed him if he would have stayed longer. Sango started to head back to camp with Miroku, Kelala and Shippo following her.

When Kagome and Inuyasha parted, no one was there anymore. The others were back at the camp and Koga was gone. All that remained was the piece of tail that Inuyasha had cut off. Inuyasha picked up the tail and smiled. I almost had that bastard, I almost skinned Koga if I would have killed him I would not have to worry about him.

The next day they made it to Keada's Village and Inuyasha walked through town with Koga's tail tied to the hilt of his sword as a trophy.

Kagome walked in to Keada's hut and saw Inuyasha sitting in his favourite corner staring off in to space while petting his trophy. Kagome then got visions of Inuyasha standing over a dead Koga. She shook that evil thought out of her head. She thought again and thought that's what he's thinking of. She then noticed Inuyasha looking at her and smiled.

Kagome gave a small smile back and thought wait a minute did he just smile at me. She felt a pair of strong arms around her waist and in return, Kagome put her hands on his and snuggled into his chest, she was enjoying this moment with him, wishing it would last forever. She looked down at Inuyasha's trophy and giggled as she started play with it.

Inuyasha felt her giggle and said, "what's so funny?"

"Well," said Kagome, "I was wondering if we should start calling Koga stumpy from now on?''

"I don't know but next time I see him I will have to ask him," replied Inuyasha with a smile

"You can ask but don't kill," said Kagome.

"Your spoiling my fun," said Inuyasha with a smile and a chuckle. But then got serious and said "thank you now that I know about Tentsusaiga I will hold on to it extra tight."

"Your welcome anything for my friend," said Kagome.

"And future mate," Replied Inuyasha with a smile.
