Chapter Two: Thank You…

As Inuyasha and Kagome landed on the other side of the well Kagome was still in a state of shock and just stared at Inuyasha who looked perfectly normal, except for the fact that he was blushing slightly and avoided giving her eye contact. As the blue light from the path to the two eras dissipated, Inuyasha picked up Kagome and jumped out of the well and, while pulling Kagome by the hand, walked over to her house and opened the front door. Mrs. Higurashi put her book down and looked over at them, "Hello Inuyasha, what brings you here?"

Kagome snapped out of her daze when she heard her mother speak, "He's here because he wants to take a bath."

Mrs. Higurashi stood up, "Why would he want to take a bath here?"

Pushing Inuyasha out of the room and up the stairs, "I don't want to talk about it right now."

Mrs. Higurashi watched as her teenage daughter and her teenage boy friend, not `boyfriend' as Kagome constantly told her, walked quickly up the stairs and to the bathroom, where her bedroom also happened to be, `I wonder…'

Kagome walked into the bathroom, followed by Inuyasha, and walked over to a cabinet of towels. While Kagome was getting a towel Inuyasha walked over to another shelf with some bottles. He just looked at them until a small gold one caught his attention and he picked it up. As soon as he did so he griped a little harder causing some kind of strange liquid to spray out. Inuyasha winced at the smell and dropped the bottle causing it to shatter and making the foul smelling liquid spread all over the floor. That was the scene when Kagome turned around with towel and hand, "Inuyasha! That was my mother's favorite perfume!" She yelled as anger filled her eyes, "SIT!"

The rosary around Inuyasha's neck glowed as the subduing spell took effect causing Inuyasha to slam to the ground. Inuyasha couldn't move as he heard Kagome leave the room, "Turn the knob on the wall to turn on the water, use the soap in the bottles and when you are done use this."

Inuyasha sat up as the spell wore off and looked at the cloth in front of him, `It's too big to be one of those `towel' things, but it's too small to be a robe…' he thought to himself as he walked over to the bath, to him it just looked like a hole in the ground with some knobs on the wall. He reached over and turned the knob with an "H" on it and warm water started to gush out of a hole in the wall. The modern conveniences of Kagome's era amazed him as he striped and lowered himself into the bath. When the water was near the top he leaned and turned the knob, stopping the water and then noticed a large blue bottle. Being careful, he picked it up and opened the top of it and the scent of it seeped out. Inuyasha's eyes widened when he recognized the scent, it had the same scent of Kagome's hair. He squeezed the bottle wanting to take in more of the scent, but when he did so some creamy blue liquid came out of it. He was surprised that the smell was coming from this liquid, surprised because he wondered how anyone could take the scent of Kagome's hair and put it in a bottle. `Kagome…'

Wanting even more of the smell he squeezed even harder causing the liquid to squirt out into the water. As bubbles formed in the water from the soap he had just poured into it, Inuyasha inhaled deeply and became lost in the scent. Memories of what he did to Kagome earlier suddenly engulfed his mind as he slid his eyes shut, `I wonder if she liked it, or… well she was in a state of shock… she might of not wanted me to do that.'

The smell of her and the thought of her kissing him created a pressure between his legs that demanded release. He sighed while lowering himself in the water and dozed off after saying to himself, "I wish you knew what you did to me Kagome."

Kagome walked down the stairs and saw her mother approaching her, "Kagome dear, what was that loud crash?"

"Nothing mom, where did these books come from?" she asked noticing some books on the table.

"They are some textbooks that Hojou dropped of earlier."

"Oh, he didn't have to that…"

"You know he really likes you…"

Kagome sighed, "Yeah, I know…"

"But you don't like him?"

Kagome chuckled slightly, "No, I don't…but he keeps trying to win me over by showering me with gifts and stuff."

"Yes, he does… why don't you just tell him that you love Inuyasha?"

Kagome suddenly turned many shades of red, "What? I don't love Inuyasha…"

Mrs. Higurashi smiled, "Speaking of which, why couldn't you tell me why he was here?"

"Oh well you see…" Kagome told her mother the entire story, except for the part that they kissed and Mrs. Higurashi just listened to it with sadness in her eyes.

Kagome sighed after a moment of silence when she finished telling her and picked up the books, "Well, I might as well try to get some work done."

"Kagome," Her mother asked before Kagome went back up the stairs, "Will you be staying the night?"

"No, Inuyasha will probably want to get back as soon as possible…"

"Oh nonsense, it's pretty late already and do you really want to go back now?"

Kagome thought about it, `Well I would rather sleep in my bed then on the ground' "Okay I'll stay."

Mrs. Higurashi stood up and walked towards a closet, "Good, just don't stay up too late."

Kagome looked confused, "Why would I stay up late?"

Mrs. Higurashi handed her daughter a portable futon, "No reason, Inuyasha can sleep on this."

Kagome nodded and headed up the stairs with books and futon in hand, "Thanks mom."

Moments later Kagome sat in her room at her desk doing some of her work, "Okay lets see, (x-2^2[x/34]) = (6x+|2-1|)….um… if you take kiss, I mean x and…take away Inuyasha, I mean 2^2…" No matter what she did her thoughts always went back to Inuyasha and his kiss. "Oh God what is wrong with me, it wasn't even that good of a kiss." She sighed and rested her head on the table, `Yes it was; it was the greatest kiss you have ever had.' Her body, heart, and mind argued.

She closed her eyes and sighed again, "It was the greatest…" she said to herself as she drifted into sleep.

Inuyasha slowly opened his eyes and saw a figure leaning against the edge of the bath. He widened his eyes when he noticed who it was, "Ka…Kagome?" There, kneeling at the edge of the bath was Kagome, just staring at Inuyasha, "What are you doing here Kagome?" Inuyasha asked blushing deeply and trying to make sure she couldn't see how truly excited he was to see her.

"What did you mean by that?" Kagome asked while she leaned in closer.

"Mean by what?"

"What do I do to you?" She asked getting even closer.

"You…you heard that?" Inuyasha stuttered.

"Yes, what did you mean?"

"Well…um…" Inuyasha choked out while he suddenly noticed that Kagome was, for some reason, not wearing any clothes, "Kagome, why aren't you wearing any clothes?"

"Because," she whispered getting so close that Inuyasha could smell her arousal, "I think you do the same thing to me."

Inuyasha closed his eyes, `Holy shit, this has to be a dream, there is no way that Kagome would ever do-.' His thoughts were interrupted by something gripping his manhood. His eyes burst open to see Kagome's eyes hand reaching under the water and between his legs, "What are you doing?"

She grasped harder on Inuyasha's not so little friend causing him to growl in pleasure a little, "Oh I see that I was right; I do, do that to you." Kagome whispered seductively.

"Oh…Kagome!" Inuyasha moaned as Kagome started to move her hand but stopped after a short while, "Why did you stop Kagome?"

"This is why…" she said as she leapt into the bath with him right below her and pressed he lips against his, taking Inuyasha fully by surprise. They sat there just passionately kissing until they broke for air. Inuyasha laid there looking at Kagome lying on top of him. Suddenly something warm engulfed him and it started to move up and down rather quickly.

"Uh Kagome…" Inuyasha growled inhumanly.

"You like this?" Kagome smirked.

"I love it!" Inuyasha groaned back, "But I know how to make it better…"

Kagome looked at him with a hentai grin, the Miroku kind, "Really, how then?"

"Like this!" he replied as he sat up and laid her on the other end of the tub and started to thrust in and out with demonic speed.

"Oh INUYAHSA!" she screamed in pleasure making Inuyasha, even though it did not seem possible thrust even faster. Inuyasha closed his eyes in pleasure as the splashes of the water became louder then her moans.

~Splash, Splash, Spalck, Splock, Knock, KNOCK~

Inuyasha's eyes burst open, Kagome was gone, and it was just his hand between his legs and the noise was someone knocking on the door. `It was a dream; I knew it, like Kagome would really do anything like that with me.' Inuyasha removed his hand from himself even though his body wanted to finish what it started. "Who is it?" he asked the person behind the door.

The door opened slowly and Mrs. Higurashi walked into the bathroom. Inuyasha quickly laid down in the tub so she couldn't see his erection. Mrs. Higurashi just smiled and walked over to his clothes and picked them up. Inuyasha stared at her as she took his clothes and turned to leave, "Wait, why are you taking my clothes?"

Mrs. Higurashi stopped, "Oh, I am going to wash them to get the blood out."

Inuyasha looked down, "So Kagome told you what happened…"

"Yes she did…"

Inuyasha sighed, "I'm scared that next time I won't be able to control myself and I'll hurt Kagome."

Mrs. Higurashi walked back over to him, "I believe that no matter what happens to you, you won't hurt Kagome."

Inuyasha glared at her, "But I might because I have no control over myself, and I can't tell the difference between friend and foe."

Mrs. Higurashi sighed, "But still, my daughter is more then just a friend to you, isn't she?" Inuyasha said nothing and just stared into the water of the bath. Mrs. Higurashi turned to leave once more, "Kagome has set up a futon on her room for you."

Inuyasha looked up at her, "Why?"

"Well you are staying the night."

"I am?"

Mrs. Higurashi looked out the window, "Well it is already night, do you really want to go back now?"

Inuyasha thought for a second, "No, I guess we could stay the night…"

Mrs. Higurashi smiled, "Good, just try to keep it down."

Inuyasha looked at her odd as she left the room and went down the stairs, `What the fuck was she talking about?'

After quickly drying off he walked out of the bathroom and into the hall by Kagome's room. He sort of felt uncomfortable wearing this robe/towel thing, but he had nothing else to wear. He quietly opened Kagome's door, he sighed to see her asleep at her desk, `Why does she work so hard on that stuff?' He silently walked over to her and gently shook her shoulder, awaking her.

Kagome awoke to see a half-naked Inuyasha by her, "Inuyasha?"

"I'm done in the bath." He replied letting go of her shoulder.

She said nothing and continued to stare at his half naked body.

"Um…Kagome?"

"Huh…oh, what?" Kagome said coming out of her own little fantasy world with her and Inuyasha in a... (Well you get the point.)

Being a little embarrassed that Kagome was staring at him he replied quickly, "Is something wrong?"

"No, nothing's wrong, I'm just wondering why you are just wearing that towel."

Inuyasha looked down at himself, "Well your mom took my clothes and I had nothing else to wear…"

"Wait, the towel is dry, how did you dry off?"

"Well I just, wait I was supposed to use this to dry off?"

"Yeah, so if you didn't how did you?"

"I shook it off." Inuyasha said plainly.

Kagome thought about what he said for a moment then burst out laughing when she envisioned Inuyasha shaking himself dry like a dog.

"Hey, what's so funny?"

"Oh…nothing." Kagome answered still giggling.

"Feh!" he snorted as he sat down on her bed.

They sat there in silence for a while just staring at nothing and occasionally gazing upon each other. "Inuyasha?" Kagome said breaking the silence.

He looked into her eyes, "Yes?"

"Earlier, why did you kiss me?"

Inuyasha turned red and looked down, "I wanted to thank you."

"For what?"

"For… For always being there Kagome, for always helping me when I was in need and… for truly caring for me…"

Tears welled up in Kagome's eyes as Inuyasha continued, "And you do all this knowing that I am a hanyou, you are not repulsed by what I am… not even Kikyo… cared for what I am and as much as you do, you always were there for me Kagome, even though you didn't need to be."

"You're welcome," she said smiling, "I also have to thank you."

Inuyasha still was looking down, "What have I done that is worth thanking?"

Kagome walked over to her bed and kneeled in front of Inuyasha, "For all those times you saved me and, even though you act all tough and make everyone think that you don't need any help, you let me care for you."

Kagome put her hand under his chin and raised it so he was now looking into her eyes. Inuyasha saw the crying and smiling schoolgirl in front of him, `She really does care for me and I care for her.' "Kagome…"

She kept gazing deeply into his eyes while she moved inch by inch closer to his face. He closed his as he felt her lips brush up against his. Inuyasha put his arms around her, embracing her and deepening the kiss. There they sat Inuyasha half naked, and Kagome crying while just kissing very passionately. But after a few moments Kagome broke the kiss, "I have to tell you something."

"What is it Kagome?"

"I love you."

Inuyasha sat there, "Kagome…"

"And I don't care if you don't love me and if you love Kikyo, I just wanted you to know how I feel about you so-."

Inuyasha cut her off by picking her up and putting her on the bed so he was lying atop of her, "Stupid bitch," he lowered his head so that he was only a mere few centimeters away from her face. "Didn't you ever think that I may love you too?" He lowered his head and pushed his lips against hers and gave her one of the greatest, passionate and loving kisses of all time. This kiss had everything; the entanglement of their tongues as they explored each others mouths, their bodies intertwining, caressing, and moving against each other, and the longing in each other's hearts and bodies to do much more then just kissing.

Tears of joy cascaded down Kagome's cheeks, as she became lost in the hanyou as he pressed his lower body against hers, showing that his body wanted more then her mouth.

Inuyasha smelt her growing arousal and broke the kiss and looked deeply into her longing eyes. He sat up and suddenly became extremely nervous, "Kagome?"

Even though she was still lost in the kiss they had just shared she somehow managed to speak, "Yes…my love?"

Inuyasha smiled upon hearing her say that, "Do you want to…"

Kagome grinned when she figured out what he was talking about, "Yes, I would love to."

As soon as he heard this he attacked her lips once more while practically ripping her shirt and bra of in one movement. Kagome, forgetting the fact that he just destroyed her school uniform and one of her favorite bras, moaned in ecstasy as Inuyasha cupped her breasts in his hands, massaging them gently. She moaned even louder as he replaced his hand on her right breast with his mouth and started to suck and nibble lightly on the tip of it. Kagome couldn't believe what was happening, `Inuyasha loves me… and now we are going to make love. Oh god I hope my mother doesn't hear us… wait…' She grabbed Inuyasha's head stopping him, "Wait."

He looked up at her disappointed that she stopped him, "Why?"

"Well I really want to do this, but I don't have any condoms or anything that will protect me."

Inuyasha looked at her weird as he sat up, "What do you need protection from?"

"I don't want to get pregnant."

Inuyasha's face fell pale, "What? You mean you don't want to have my pups?"

Kagome shook her head, "No, I would love to have your pups, it's just I don't want to get pregnant now because I would become a burden and interrupt our journey for the jewel shards and to destroy Naraku." She said reassuring him that she still wanted his pups.

Inuyasha looked a little happier as he kissed her, "Is that all? Oh then we can still do it."

"But what if I get pregnant?" Kagome protested.

"You won't."

"How can you be so sure?"

Inuyasha placed his hand between her legs, "You are forgetting that I can smell this," he rubbed his fingers up and down against her panties, "And I can tell that you are not in heat, so you will not get pregnant now."

"Then what is stopping you?" Kagome asked becoming bolder.

"Well," he glanced between them, "Well there is this towel."

"Oh well let's get rid of that." She said as tore the towel off of him and looked his now fully awakened and ready self, `Wow'

Inuyasha saw that Kagome was impressed by his `stature' and quickly laid atop of her, "You ready?" he whispered into her ear.

She nodded and braced herself as he lowered himself into her. She yelped in pain causing Inuyasha to stop, but when he saw the need for him she desired he started to move again and pushed his entire length into her. She screamed in bliss as he vigorously began to thrust in and out of her. Inuyasha looked at her face, `I should do it now' he thought to himself as he repositioned himself so his head was lying on her shoulder. Kagome screamed once more when he felt Inuyasha bite down on her shoulder, not in pain, but in pleasure. She didn't know why it didn't hurt but for some strange reason she had the desire to return the action, so she bit him on the shoulder as well. Inuyasha was not surprised by her action; in fact he was suspecting it to happen. They both drank a small amount of blood and released from each other. To lost in the moment to ask why they did that all Kagome could say between his powerful movements was, "I…love…you…"

Inuyasha pressed his lips against hers as she heard him say, "Me too." And that was all she heard as he thrust even deeper and harder knowing that they both getting near.

After what seemed only a few moments Kagome screamed into Inuyasha's mouth in pleasure as Inuyasha thrust into her one last time sending them both over the edge. After a few seconds of pure ecstasy, Inuyasha collapsed to the side of Kagome breathing heavily.

Kagome turned and kissed him, "Thank you."

He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her in close, "You're welcome."

Kagome smiled and then noticed the bite mark left on each other's shoulders, "Inuyasha, why did we bite each other?"

"Well when a Inu-Youkai chooses it's mate he bites her to claim her as his while the bitch does the same."

"So that means we are mates?"

"Yeah…"

"What about Kikyo?"

Inuyasha's face became serious, "Well, I've been thinking about that for a while now and I've come to realize that the Kikyo I loved and cared for died fifty years ago. And there is something else…"

"What is it?"

"Well I also realized that Kikyo's death is not my fault and that I don't owe her for that. Her death was caused by Naraku, so even If I hadn't come to the village he still would have figured out a way to acquire the jewel. But I do owe her something…"

"What would that be?"

"I owe her a thank you because if it wasn't for what happened fifty years ago Naraku would probably have the complete jewel, I might have not gotten Tetsusaiga, I would have never met you and fell in love with you."

"You mean that?"

"Yes, the dead clay corpse that walks this earth means nothing to me."

Kagome kissed him once more and cuddled next to him, "Good night Inuyasha, my loving handsome mate."

Inuyasha smiled and embraced her more, "Good night Kagome, my loving beautiful mate."

Kagome eyes slid shut as Inuyasha fell asleep as well, `She's finally mine, she my mate, she really does love me.'
