[ P - Pre-Teen ]

"Osuwari."

Inuyasha was thrown to the ground, but with no more force than if he had dropped there of his own free will. He was able to tilt his head to look at Kagome and frowned.

"Come on, wench. Surely you can do better than that."

Kagome barely raised one eyebrow.

"Your mother wears combat boots." Inuyasha announced, repeating an insult he'd heard one of Souta's friends use in the future. He was thrown to the ground at her feet by a somewhat stronger 'sit', but it was nothing compared with the crater-creating pronouncements Kagome had made in the past.

Kagome snorted, "YOU'LL have to do better than that."

"Alright, wench, you asked for it." He strode up behind her, caught her by the arm, spun her around, and kissed her. It was not just any kiss, but a set-the-heart-pounding, fluttering-butterflies-in-the-stomach, breath-stealing, soul-scalding kiss. After a small eternity, Inuyasha raised his head and smirked. "Well?"

As Kagome pulled his mouth back to hers, Inuyasha realized through his shock that she had gotten the better of him once again.
