Kagome had not been able to really focus all day, her mind kept re playing last night. ~ I like Inuyasha a lot I don't think I care enough about Kikyos feelings. I mean it's not like she cares one fucking bit about mine. ~

 

 

 

With that thought in mind the girl ran through the fields ready to see Inuyasha.

 

 

 

When she arrived at the lake she saw nothing. ~I guess he must not be here yet. ~ Tilting her angel face towards the night sky she could see rain clouds forming.

 

 

 

 

The water held riffles through out it from the light wind. Sitting down on her but she looked out into the woods. ~ I wonder what could be taking him so long…~ Kagome pressed her hands a crossed her long skirt. ~Of course I'm stuck wearing this shit again. Mama saw me come in this morning and wanted to know why I looked like a bimbo. She lets Kikyo leave the house in less wear then she dose me but of course I'm pointed out for it. ~

 

 

 

Kagome was quickly pulled out of her thoughts when she felt a rain drop hit the tip of her nose. ~Fucking great now I'm going to be out in the rain! ~ When she heard a rustle of feet coming her way, she smiled.

 

 

 

 

Standing up she swung around her black hair swinging by quick movement. But she couldn't help the smile drop when she saw him…~He looks so sad. ~

 

 

 

 

Inside Inuyasha smiled at the way the girl spun around showing a beautiful smile for him to see. He knew he wasn't smiling he had to do this he had to tell her.

 

“Kagome…”

 

 

 

 

Kagome walked over to Inuyasha and stood now facing him. “What's wrong Inuyasha is everything ok?”

 

 

 

Inuyashas eyes darted away from hers as he spoke. “I'm sorry.”

 

 

 

 

Arching an eye brow she wondered why he wasn't looking at her. “Sorry for what you did nothing wrong, so what you were a little late, I'm not going to kill you for it.”

 

 

 

 

Amber eye's drifted back to blue; he put all the sadness and forgiveness in one look.

 

 

 

 

Swallowing Kagome started to get scared. “Inuyasha what the hell are you sorry for. Tell me I'm not a mind reader!”

 

 

 

 

Reaching a ruff hand to her face he cupped her tan cheek and spoke once more. “This can't happen anymore, Kagome its wrong we can't do this so I'm putting my foot down before anything series happens.”

 

 

 

 

Shoving him you could see the hurt in her once happy blue eyes. “Before anything series happens…Well fuck you Inuyasha I losing my virginity to you may not count as something series but in my book it dose. You can't just end it here.” Her voice drifted off as more rain begun to fall.

 

 

 

 

He couldn't stand it he just wanted to reach out and hold her, tell her everything was ok. Instead he turned around not facing her anymore. “Kagome what happen last night…I wish I could take it back but I can't, I'm sorry….” Inuyasha took two steps forward then started to walk away, leaving the girl to stand in the poring rain.

 

 

 

 

She couldn't tell if the rain drops were falling on her face or if she was crying, she just stood there stunned to her spot. When her mind registered that he had walked away Kagoem ran.

 

 

 

 

Inuyasha was about a yard from his house when he heard her, and then he felt the sting in her words.

 

 

 

 

“You lie…You know damn well if you could take back what you did last night you wouldn't. Don't act as thought I wasn't there Inuyasha.” Spinning around Kagome ran, ran as fast as she could to her house.

 

 

 

 

Inuyasha spun around and watched her run. ~It's true I wouldn't take it back but this is what has to be. In time we will be ok but if I was to let this keep going you would hate me. ~

Kagome ran the porch steps and into her house. She heard her mother speak to her but she didn't care.

 

 

 

“Kagome you know you're not allowed out after dark, your grounded you know the rules.”

 

 

 

Storming up the steps she walked into her room slamming the door behind her.

 

 

 

Kikyo eyed her younger sister but didn't speak, she knew something was on her mind and she really could care less what the girl was thinking about.

 

 

 

Flopping down on her bed she took a few deep breaths. ~Maybe this was all a dream and ill wake up in Inuyashas arms. ~ She thought as her eyes drifted shut.
