“Inuyasha come on, the neighbors cook out starts in 10minutes!” Misses Tasho shouted from her bathroom. Placing another pearl earring in her ear, she smiled at her over all look.

 

 

 

 

 

Inuyasha placed a pair of blue jeans on and started to brush though his long silver hair. He couldn't deny it, he hadn't been able to truly forget about the country girl who he couldn't have. She had been running threw his mind none stop for the past 2weeks.

 

 

 

 

~She has to hate me for what I did…I don't blame her it's just I don't want to ruin her life. She has dreams and I just don't see me in them. ~ Placing a black shoe on his left foot he stood up and looked at what he was wearing. A button down black top, a pair of rusty looking blue jeans and tight enough for his perfect ass to show though, and black shoes. Smiling at his self he decided to head off with his mother and brother.

Kagome streaked as she felt the hot curling iron against her neck. “Stop fucking burning me Kikyo!” Kagome shouted from the kitchen chair she sat in. She was dressed from head to toe in what her mother picked out for her. ~Its really not that bad I think I like good, mama picked out a perfect dress for me to sing in.~

 

 

 

Kikyo started to laugh as her sister yelled at her. “Come now Kagome do you think my master plan is to burn you to death with this thing?”

 

 

 

Kagome eyed her sister from the body mirror that stood in front of her. “I'm not shore...I'm never cretin when it comes to witches!”

 

 

 

Kikyo grinned and finished the last curl. “Well your done kid, now mama said you start singing her song in 20minuters, got it?”

 

 

 

Kagome stood swinging around her dress didn't move an inch while snuggled tight against her body frame.

 

 

 

“Yup I got it!”

 

 

 

Kikyo left her sister to go get ready, as Kagome walked to the front porch and sighed. ~Inuyasha and his family are defiantly coming, I heard mama talking to misses Tasho about what to bring.~

 

 

 

 

Kagome lit up when she heard her favorite cousin.

 

 

 

 

“Wow Kagome you clean up really good, it's like turning a monkey into a princess.”

 

 

 

 

Miroku busted out laughing as he watched her vain pop out on her neck.

 

 

 

“Are you calling me a monkey Miroku?”

 

 

 

Smiling he slipped both hands around her tiny form and gave her a huge hug. “Nope you know I wouldn't think such a thing of my favorite cousin.”

 

 

 

Pulling away Kagome smiled. “I missed you dork just hasn't been the same around here with out yah.”

 

 

 

Miroku chuckled as he slightly shoved Kagome. “So who the hell would break your heart looking the way you do?”

 

 

 

Kagome couldn't help but smile as they both headed towards the back yard to see the rest of there family.

 

 

 

 

Inuyasha stood in the backyard with a dressed to in press Kikyo by his side. He hadn't seen Kagome yet but wasn't shore if he wanted to. There was a shit load of the higurashies family there. He could see the back porch being set up as a stage, and wasn't shore why.

 

 

 

 

Kikyo looked in the direction Inuyasha was looking in and smiled. “My sister will be singing my father and mothers first song they danced to. Isn't that so romantic Inuyasha?” Kikyo couldn't help the happy sigh as she thought about her parents, long marriage.

 

 

 

 

Kagome took two deep breaths as she looked at her father. “Father I wanted to ask you a question?”

 

 

 

Mr. H placed his tie into place and looked at his youngest child. “Yes Kagome ask away.”

 

 

 

Placing some pink lip gloss on Kagome spoke up. “When did you know mama would be the women you would marry?”

 

 

 

Smiling the man tilted his daughters face up to look into her soft blue as he had given her. “The first time I met your mother I hated her but I knew right there, we would be together though it all.”

 

 

 

 

Walking out of the room Kagome stood there in thought. ~When I first met Inuyasha I hated him but I knew somewhere deep inside, that it wouldn't be the only thing I felt for him.~

Inuyasha looked towards the back porch as Kikyo stood in front of the mic.

 

 

 

 

“My parents have you all here today to celebrate there wonder fully marriage, and my younger sister will be singing there first song to them.”

 

 

 

 

His breath hitched and his palms became sweaty as he saw her for the first time since that night. There standing on stage with an adorable smile was Kagome, wearing a long red dress reminding him of the best tasting wine. Her hair was held down in soft curls framing her face as the only make up she wore painted her lips.

 

 

 

 

Kagome clapped for her parents then took the mic as Kikyo stepped off the porch/ stage. “Hello every one, I'm proud to say my parents have not been divorced like so many people. It gives me hope that there really is such a thing of a marriage that can last.”

 

 

 

 

Taking a deep breath she made eye contact with the one person she wasn't shore she wanted to see.

 

 

 

Blue crashed with amber as Kagome kept speaking. “The song I will be singing is called `When you say nothing at all' the music in the back started and both never looked away from each other.

 

 

 

 

@It's amazing how you can speak though heart.

Kikyo placed both hands around Inuyasha neck as they danced slowly. Inuyasha was dancing with Kikyo but in his mind he was dancing with the young country girl he couldn't have.

 

 

 

 

All day long i can hear people talking about.

After the song was over Kagome felt all her familes eyes on her. But the only set of eyes that counted were Inuyashas.
