THE NEXT MORNING
Inuyasha woke to a warm body next to his and the smell of water close by, when he regained most of his senses his mind did a back flip 'hold on!! warm body?? what the hell did i do last night?' while he panicked in his mind he jumped out of the bed landing on his face due to the fact that he had his legs tangled on the covers and while he grabed the covers to try and untie them for some reason the other person in the bed ended up falling on top of him screaming all the time something about stupid dogs.When the mess of covers and body parts were clear and a hundred new curses were created Inuyasha saw his friend Kagome and then he remembered why he was here. Then he freaked out again which only helped him into hitting his head again.Finally after Kagome got Inuyasha to calm down she told him "Yasha everything is fine don't worry i sent a messenger to the castle your father knows you are here and i think i might have a solution to your problem" when Inuyasha heard the last part he almost jumped of joy of course what he thought the solution would be was nothing like what Kagome thought mainly because all of his solutions were along the lines of running away or beating all the people who wanted to mate with him. "Ok Kagome what is it??" she was about to open her mouth and answer when a soft knock was heard. The priestess got up and went to the door and her eyes almost falling out of their sockets when she saw who it was. A firm and silvery eyebrow arched in question as the person walked in past the priestess and saw the state of the room a half naked Inuyasha next to a very messy bed he was about to comment something smartass-like when Inuyasha jumped up and screamed "What the hell do YOU want?? who said you could come here?? Kagome how come he is in here? you old hag is your barrier skills weakening??!!" said Inuyasha with a face that screamed ' oh no i'm doomed ' "Shut up Inuyasha he can come through since he shares the same aura as you remember you are brothers even though he has an evil aura when yours tend to be simply grumpy or fear and don't you dare call me old hag or i swear i'll give you a spanking" all the while Sesshomaru was just staring at Inuyasha's half naked body snapping back to reality when Inuyasha put on his red haori and walked up to him "So what are you doing here sessh?" Sesshomaru narrowed his eyes "You know i don't like it when you call me that" Inuyasha pouted but then smiled saying in a sing song voice " I know that's why i call you that, anyways what is it you want Kagome was about to tell me something important" "Father sent me to get you he wants you to be back at home before lunch" at this Inuyasha turned to Kagome silently asking if he could come back later she nodded and said "I'll be waiting but hurry you know it's you who's interested in solving this" Inuyasha gave Kagome a tight hug and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead saying " thank you, you are definitely a life saviour my little minx" at this he gave her a peck on the lips and turned to Sesshomaru "ready to go sessh".They had been traveling for about 15 minutes when Sesshomaru surprised Inuyasha by saying "You love that priestess?" Inuyasha almost lost his balance but by some magic trick regained his composture "Yes like a sister or a special friend" 'Since when does he give a damn about my life or loves or whatever this is the first time in our entire lives he has spoken to me without some insult coming in between the lines'. After that strange question the journey was silent, they stopped a few times to drink water and arrived at the castle just before lunch was served. Nothing was said about the incident the night before, everyone ate, Inutaisho and Lirael talked about royalty and deaths and such things. When everything was cleared and Inuyasha was about to get up and make a run for it he heard his father say "Stay we need to speak" and so everyone left aside from Inuyasha himself and Inutaisho."It's ok i'm not upset Yasha look at me" and so Inuyasha looked up from his hands to meet his father's deep golden orbs " it was partly my fault i had not said anything before to you about this and so you were not prepared you still have to apologize to Lirael what you said yesterday was uncalled for, i will give you time to choose a mate you do not have to do it right away am i understood?" at this Inuyasha nodded and smiled a bit his father moved closer and petted his head " I'm very proud of you Yasha and i bet your mother would have been as well you resemble her a lot the same melodious laughter and and warmth deep in your eyes come here" he beckoned him over and gave him a hug Inuyasha was happy father always understood him everything was going to be ok or so he thought anyways.On the library of the castle Sessh sat going through some books he wanted to finish reading but the same question kept going through his mind distracting him like the buzzing of a fly when you are eating ' Why did i ask him if he loved the priestess? i mean it was a bit awkward the way i found the room but still even if they had done anything i would have been able to smell it and even if they had done anything it is not my business to know or not to know anything concerning Inuyasha and his sex life, still why do i feel annoyed knowing that the priestess touched him? Sesshomaru kept musing like that and reading for about 3 hours when he finally fell asleep right there in the chair where he was sitting.
It had been 2 weeks since Inuyasha came back to the castle and since his father had said it would be ok he had not gonne back to see Kagome and ask about her plan.It was morning and he had found himself roaming about without anything much to do,he did not feel like running around in the forest or hunting if he went inside his brother would be there and the annoying servants so he stayed outdoors looking for nothing in particular while his feet carried him to whatever place.Then he smelled something very nice it was the scent of fresh bloomed flowers he knew it was probably from the garden but there was another scent which he thought he recognized so went to check it out.Arriving at the garden he found Miroku with Rin dancing around each holding a basket full of flowers that had the most brilliant colors he had ever seen.

"Oh master Inuyasha we are just collecting some flowers to put around the castle since it's such a beautiful day besides Rin asked me to" at this Rin looked up and smiled nodding very fast to what Miroku had just said.At this Inuyasha smiled and asked "May i join the party?" 'i might as well do something even if it looks a bit weird least to me' Both the servant and the girl screamed a happy "YES!" and ran towards Inuyasha grabbing him and giving him a basket to collect flowers too.They spent about an hour singing and playing and then sat down to rest and eat some snacks Miroku had brought, they were sitting under a cherry blossoms tree enjoying the calmness and beauty of it all it was a perfect day and Inuyasha was a bit bored so he wanted to investigate and see if he could dig some dirt about his brother."So Rin is it true what Sessh said about you?" the little girl looked confused "Who's Sessh?" Miroku laughed and told the girl it was Lord Sesshomaru but that Inuyasha called him Sessh."No it's not true what he said" Inuyasha was about to say ' yes!! i knew it that bastard' when the Rin spoke again "I mean is true he was injured and i kept him company and gave him some water but i bet he would have been able to do so by himself, the truth is that he saved me from some wolfs who were going to eat me since i lived alone i had to get food in the forest and there were lots of wolfs and demons around.When Lord Sesshomaru saved me he asked if my family was near by when i said i didn't have any he said it was ok he would take care of me but i had to promise i would not tell the truth, that he had saved me." Inuyasha stopped and sniffed the air a bit and yes it was his brother's scent ' what would sessh be doing in my territory well it's not MINE it's dad's but still i come here almost everyday either he was too occupied on something else to notice or he wants to talk to me which i highly doubt so it must be the first one' Inuyasha moved cat-like through the bushes without making a sound since the wind was coming towards him he knew sesshomaru would not be able to detect his scent.When Inuyasha finally saw his brother a huge question mark formed in his head.Sesshomaru was laying down in the grass his armor to the side one knee bent upward and hands behind his head.If someone passed by the person would think sesshomaru was sleeping but to Inuyasha's keen eyes he was awake his eyes were mere slits but he was awake.His haori was slipping over the shoulder making creamy perfect skin visible Yasha thought about his options 1) leave sessh alone and move on with the exercises 2) walk up to sessh and tell him to go home with him because it was almost time for dinner 3) sneak close to sessh and scare him making him scream like a girl 4) stay hidden and wait sessh's next move number 3 and 4 were tempting but he had to decide in the end he went with number 3.Like a panther closing in it's prey Yasha moved closer to sesshomaru the problem with plan 3 was that the wind had changed without Inuyasha noticing so by the time he was getting ready to jump on sesshomaru said person already knew he was coming and so when Inuyasha raised his arms and opened his mouth sesshomaru opened his eyes and said "boo" Inuyasha jumped 5 meters in the air and fell on his ass "Owwwww!!! bastard!! you didn't have to do that damn that hurt" said Inuyasha while rubbing his butt sesshomaru had not moved an inch he was just laying there still trying very hard not to laugh on his brother's face of course Inuyasha knew nothing of this "By the way why are YOU calling me bastard you stupid half-breed as i recall you were going to scare me or at least try to" Inuyasha said nothing to that because it was true but then it clicked in his,oh so small brain that sesshomaru had just played a joke on him 'oh my fucking god ice prince just played a joke on me oh this is gold wait until i tell father he is going to laugh for a week' "Hey ice prick did you just play a joke on me?" sesshomaru didn't answer instead he was back to almost closed eyes and peaceful face. Now Inuyasha is not a very patient person and he absolutely hates being ignored so now it was revenge time he jumped right on top of sesshomaru straddeling him at this sesshomaru's eyes went wide "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING?" "Oh nothing, enjoying the view" said Inuyasha while looking around pretending to search for something.Sesshomaru started to move to throw Inuyasha off of him but Inuyasha grabed his arms and put them beside sessh's head then he looked down and almost forgot keep to sessh's hands in place and to breathe. In his struggle sesshomaru had spread his hair all over and the setting sun gave his eyes a shine of deep amber while making his skin a bit darker he looked exotic, dangerous, something you would like to keep, so at night you could bathe in it's beauty, he looked like the unreachable stars which entoxicate the dreams of lovers Inuyasha was drowning in those eyes so he moved from dangerous eyes to sinful lips, tantalizing lips which called to him he wanted so badly to kiss those lips but he left those lips and went back to the eyes which were turning red 'huh?? red?? oh shit this is sesshomaru!!!' Inuyasha jumped and ran for his life although he didn't know if sessh was persuing him to skin him alive or just to plain kill him.Sesshomaru had stayed put in the same place not moving when Inuyasha had left his mind was in chaos and his heart 'when did i get a heart? ' was pounding so much it hurt.Inuyasha had been staring at him for about 15 minutes not moving an inch just his eyes traveling over his face ' what was it he saw? why was he so transfixed with my face? and more importantly why did i want him to kiss me? and since when Inuyasha eyes became so beautiful and his lips such a perfect color and form?' i better get home' as he thought this he got up and put his armor back on the swords in their place he looked at the sky for an instant before he sighed and thought 'and i just wanted to cloud gaze a bit now i'm such a mess but i'm just not going to think about it maybe it will go away' sesshomaru made his way towards the castle slowly he wanted to have all his emotions under control before he got there and his ice facade ready to fool everyone.He made it just in time everyone was there he pointedly avoided looking over to Inuyasha which proved to be quite the task since all he wanted was to look at him and ask questions.Inuyasha after running for a bit decided to go back since it seemed sessh had not intention in killing him today and besides he was hungry already.Then Sesshomaru had entered and all Yasha wanted was to look at him and make sure that what he saw in the clearing was not sesshomaru but some mirage or spell maybe some joke because he had never wanted to kiss sesshomaru never ever and why would today be any different? ' today would be different because you actually looked at him and saw how hot he is, oh no i did not just think that now even my mind is against me!! this is a conspiration i say!!! a conspiration to make me screw my brother noooooo ewwwww' while Inuyasha was having his little inner dialogue he was making the most funny faces and so Rin asked "Master Yasha are you ok? you look like you are going to be sick" Inuyasha looked over to the girl and remembered he was with the whole family who were giving him strange looks so he slapped a hand to his forehead and said " oopss i forgot we are at dinner" then he gave a sheepish grin and started eating focusing his eyes on the plate so he wouldn't have to see the look his father gave him like he was insane or something.On the other hand sesshomaru found the opportunity to look at him without getting caught and so he did scrutinizing every part of yasha's face like it held the answer to a huge enigma that he himself didn't know about.Inuyasha felt someone's gaze opening holes in his head so he looked around and caught sesshomaru's eyes with his neither looked away for a long time and when they did so it was reluctantly but not before Inutaisho saw it and understood what was going on a little smile crept to his lips and the rest of the dinner he was you could almost say in a happy mood.
