It had been a month since Inuyasha found out how beautiful his brother actually was and an entire month of avoiding any kind of encounters with him which was pretty easy to begin with in a big castle. He had spent the days either in the forest or with Miroku and the other servants.Today he was going over to Kagome's house he had already told his father that he would be spending a week there.For some reason lately he was feeling like someone was watching him it was an eerie feeling but he just shrugged it off as his imagination.Kagome welcomed him as always happy to have him visit."Yasha you left and didn't even let me tell you the plan to liberate you" said Kagome with a small laugh "I know i'm sorry but sessh doesn't like waiting and he is always already grumpy i just don't like to make him grumpier" said Inuyasha who was looking at the night sky enjoy the breeze and the sight of midnight stars "Well i thought that if things got out of hand for you just choose me as your mate i won't make you do anything and once you find someone else i'll let you go how's that for a plan?" she looked at Inu "That would be great kagome!! and if i never find anyone i can stay with you anyways right?" she smiled and nodded yes ' i'll stay with you as long as you want me to' "by the way kagome how do you know when you love someone?"
"Well when you love someone and that person looks at you it's like you drown on his/her eyes because you feel vulnerable and happy and scared, you can feel so much with just looking at that person and if you touch them you may feel like your skin is in flames but you don't mind burning because the pain is worth it and deliciously sweet afterwards and you are drawn towards that person you want to be with them and think of them every possible minute ....there are so many things that you can feel when you are in love but Yasha each of them no matter if painful each of those things are beautiful because love is beautiful do you understand?" Inuyasha looked thoughtful for a minute then said very low "Yes i think i understand, i'm gonna go to sleep now" Kagome watched him go and waited a few minutes then she stood up and walked outside "Come out whoever you are i know you are there" a flash of light passed her and after a second sesshomaru stood in front of her "What kind of trash are you telling him woman?" kagome smiled and said "Why are you here? i know Inutaisho did not send you" he stood there for a minute and then answered " i need not to explain myself to the likes of you" and he turned to leave then "No you need not to explain to her but to me you do" said inuyasha's voice "What are you doing here if father did not send you?" sesshomaru turned again towards the house and saw Inuyasha leaning casually against the door frame with his arms crossed and a confused expression on his face and then their eyes met and everything stopped but inuyasha closed his and asked again keeping his eyes firmly closed "What are you doing here sessh?" the question was almost a whisper but sesshomaru heard it " i...i..uhh...." 'why can't i speak!! damn it damn everything to hell!!!' and so he turned and fled a single tear running over his cheek ' i don't understand why i wanted to see him i don't understand anything that i'm feeling it's so painful it feels like my chest it's going to open and my heart be slashed by a million needles.While Sesshomaru ran and was slowly losing his sanity with frustration Inuyasha just stood trying to comprehend what had just happened 'ok sessh came all the way over here at night just so he could say i...i...uuhh ? that's completely insane maybe he wanted to say something else but he forgot? nah he has a good memory he is not me, well whatever i'll ask him when i get home' "Kagome are you gonna sleep or not?" she just looked at him and then nodded " are you sure you don't want to go after him?" Inuyasha thought about it but then said "No he is faster than me even if i tried i would not be able to catch up besides i'll talk to him when i get home" Kagome said "Ok if you think it's ok then lets go to sleep is very late".When the week was over Yasha said his farewell and started towards the castle at a slow pace he had to think things over and see what should be best to do ' in one hand i can ignore what happened and follow sessh to see what's up on the other hand i can confront him and ask what the hell happened and probably get smacked in the head or worse yet get those very sharp claws in my stomach making a hole....yep definitely option one' having decided his course of action yasha sped up a bit and tried to make it in time for lunch,he was starved.Unfortunaly he got to the palace an hour after lunch and so he ended up in the kitchen pestering Miroku for some food "Come on Miroku pretty please i'll do whatever you want if you give me some food" "No Inuyasha you'll have to wait until later i could get in trouble" "Fine Miroku either you give me food or i'll make sure you never get to see that village of yours and yes i mean no ladies for you either" Miroku stopped and thought it over then replied "Allright i'll give you food and you go play with Rin the entire afternoon is it a deal?" inuyasha thought about it he didn't have anything to do in the afternoon and perhaps he could get some useful info from the brat "Yeah it's a deal but where are you going?" Miroku sighed and said in a too cheerful voice " I'm gonna meet tha ladies !!! he he he he" after that Inuyasha did NOT want to know what the servant had planned so he took his food to in front of the room where Rin had her classes and ate in silence waiting for the child to finish.When he was almost about to throw the doors down and demand the girl to be let out the child came out and smiled brightly at him and said "Oh Master Yasha it's gonna play with me today?" Inuyasha gave her a small nod and took her hand "So where do you usually go after your lessons?" she thought it over then replied "On mondays,wendesdays,and fridays Lord Sesshomaru takes me to the lake and reads stories to me while i put flowers on his hair then on tuesdays and thursdays he takes me to wherever place i want to go" since it was monday it was lake and stories day "Ok Rin then we should stop at the library to grab a book so i can read to you" at this the girl smiled and then with a hopeful look asked "can i put flowers in your hair too? you have pretty hair like Lord Sesshomaru although his is longer, please? Inuyasha was starting to get annoyed ' i'm not a sissy like my brother i don't want flowers in my hair but oh well just for once and because she asked me too besides who could say no to that face? man i'm such a softie' "Ok Rin but don't tell anyone ever that you did it ok?" the girl smiled and nodded energetically.While walking to the library Inuyasha asked Rin about stuff like if she liked the palace and the food they gave her and if her room was nice enough to all she said yes and that it was more than what she actually needed.After a little stop and having grabed a book that Rin said she wanted to read Inuyasha told Rin to get on his back so that way they would be there faster, 10 minutes later they stopped on top of a big rock and Rin told Inuyasha "It's just a little bit farther do you see the little path over there?" she pointed at least 15 meters ahead "Yeah i see it" when they came to place Inuyasha had to stop and admire the magnificence of it all there was an enormous field of wild flowers almost reaching into the lake but not quite there was still a thin strap of white sand in between plants and lake to the left side the forest stood dark and threatening and to the right it was filled with rocks that looked like white marble 'no wonder sessh brings her here it's so beautiful it seems unreal ' thought Yasha as he followed the girl to a small space of grass in between the flowers to say that his nose was doing a happy dance was an understament all the scents and smells were sweet or just plain adorable. Yasha found himself feeling like he was floating instead of walking almost as if in a daze but he went straight to reality when he felt little fingers on his scalp reaching his ears"What are you doing Rin?"
"Oh nothing i do this to Lord Sesshomaru before i put the flowers he says he won't get a headache that way so i thought i would the same to you, by the way can i touch them?"
"Yeah go ahead and touch but don't pull they are very sensitive and it already hurts too much when people talk too loudly to have people pulling on them would be torture." The girl happily proceeded to give the most gentle caresses Inuyasha thought possible to his ears and his eyes started to close in pure bliss.Before he fell asleep Inuyasha started reading aloud while Rin ran around in the field collecting flowers of all colors and then coming back sitting behind Inuyasha and braiding the flowers into Yasha's hair. They had been there for almost an hour when Inuyasha felt someone coming and closed the book beckoning Rin closer to him then they heard a gentle and sweet voice call "Rin?? are you there Rin?" the girl beamed with joy and answered while running in the diretion of the voice "Yes Lord Sesshomaru i'm here with Master Yasha" Inuyasha rather felt than saw the change of attitude when sessh spoke again it was the same lifeless tone that Inuyasha knew "Oh i thought you were here with Miroku or by yourself" and then he was visible and Rin ran towards him at full speed jumping to his arms which were open to her "Look Lord Sesshomaru i put flowers on Master Yasha's hair doesn't he look pretty like a lady?" Inuyasha was about to say he was no lady when sesshomaru said "Yes he does indeed look pretty like a lady" and so Inuyasha instead ended up blushing like a school girl, then realized he was blushing and proceeded to shake the flowers off his hair "I'm not a lady Rin and no one was supposed to know about this"
"I know Master Yasha but i didn't know Lord Sesshomaru would come by" sesshomaru just went "Hn" and put Rin down then he bent to her eye level and asked "Don't you want to get more flowers Rin?" the little girl gave a quick nod and went on to her flower business. When Inuyasha saw that sessh was staying he decided it was time to go since he was taking care of Rin just because sesshomaru wasn't there but when he was about to get up Sessh looked him straight in the eye and said "Stay with me please" Inuyasha should have said no, oh but those eyes held him in place, those mysteriously enchanting eyes that held him bound with a spell of nothingness while full of everything and so he stayed. "I didn't know you were a babysitter Inuyasha" said sesshomaru while folding his legs and sitting indian style beside Inuyasha who was looking straight ahead into the lake
"You bastard, i just made a deal with Miroku about food and Rin so shut up is not like i don't have anything better to do smartass" "Oh i do not doubt that with your brilliant intellect you have many duties that require your presence"
"Well Mr.I-am-better-than-everyone maybe i do have places to be but i happen to enjoy beautiful places"

"Or else what half-breed?" said sesshomaru who was getting quite irritated by now his eyes turning a dangerous shade of red "Oh look at me i'm scared, i'm running, screw you sesshomaru!! i'm not backing down now you have been acting strange lately and the other day you went to kagome's and said nothing after such a long journey you just turned and came back without one word" sesshomaru's eyes were turning back to normal and the threatining growl was dying bit by bit "what do you mean i'm acting strange you were the one who started this with your staring at my face like if i had grown a second head for more than 15 minutes i just wanted to know what was wrong with you so i followed you for a bit, so what is it?" Inuyasha did not like the way the conversation had turned mainly because his face was two inches apart from sesshomaru's and 'huh what did he say ? his lips are so close maybe i could...' while inuyasha dealt with his inner pervert sesshomaru was getting restless...
