Chapter Two-A Demon With a Heart

Kagome stood back on her feet for full support, she observed the kitchen's use of weapons, there were forks, chairs, glass from bowls and cups, and then there were knives. She noticed there was a knife on the counter next to the stove, she staggered over to it leaving the demon to wonder what she was doing he walked up behind her.

"I don't want to kill you but pain will be fun enough." he chuckled.

Kagome turned around with the knife and aimed for his hands at his sides but his arm flung up for blocking and stopped the blade but it did make a slight scratch on his arm.

"Oh, and you think that hurt." He said taking the device out of her hands and used it to cut her on the neck but just a small cut. The blood began to seep out of the wound leaving a trail of the red liquid to slip down her shoulder and stain a little spot of her clothing. Kagome broke out of her dazed look and tears began to form in her eyes they glided down her face and dripped off her chin to the floor. They splattered to even smaller droplets. She brought up her sleeve to swipe some away, and she looked back up to the killer and said,

"Inu…yasha…please turn back, I want you back to the way you were…please." She wrapped her arms around him hoping he would turn back.

"Stupid girl, get off me!" he growled shoving her away. Kagome's cut was still bleeding and the blood spot on her shirt grew.

"Inuyasha why don't you listen to me?! Transform back now!" she yelled while more tears pored out. She tried to hold them back but it was no use they just kept coming uncontrollable.

"Don't ya' get it wench, why would I want to go back to that weak, frail body, when I could have this, a way better body?" he smirked still holding the knife.

The shine in his red eyes showed Kagome that he was not going to kill her, so at least she was safe, for now.

Kagome tried to back up away from him but noticed the counter was behind her she was trapped.

"It's taking her along time grandpa, should I go check on her?" Sota asked ready to get out of the car.

"Go ahead see what's taking her." He responded.

"Thanks I'll be back." Sota jumped out of the car and climbed up the steps to the house. When he got to the door his cloths were soaked from the rain that was falling.

"Mom's gonna' kill me." He walked in side the house trying not to get rainwater all over the floor.

"Mom where are ya', what's taking so long?"

Inuyasha picked up sota's voice, and he smiled evilly.

"Sota get out of the house now!" Kagome yelled noticing Inuyasha began to walk towards the door off the hall.

"Sis, is that you?" he asked in return.

"Yes get out of the house now!" Kagome ran to Inuyasha and tried to hold him back.

"Why?"

"…BECAUSE INUYASHA IS FULL DEMON AND HES GOING TO KILL YOU!" she screamed on the top of her lungs. Sota had no idea what she was talking about and he slid open the door to the kitchen, there stood the demon.

"Let's have some fun." Inuyasha growled baring his fangs. Now sota was scared he began to run away from the vicious demon. Kagome tried to hold him back but it was hard he was pulling to hard.

"Inuyasha stop it! Don't kill sota, please kill me if you have to!" she yelled. Inuyasha slowed down.

"You really want me to kill you?" he asked.

If I sale him Sota can run away, she thought.

"Yes please Inuyasha as long as you don't kill my brother."

"Oh so that's it." Inuyasha began to pick up speed, and Kagome flew off of him.

Sota was now running down the stone steps back to the car.

"Sota did, you find your mom?" His grandpa yelled out of the rolled down window.

"I don't know just get us out of here!" he yelled when he was about to reach the car. But then Grandpa saw something red fly towards the car.

"What's that?"

"Inuyasha chasing me, just get in the driver seat."

"Well I'll be."

Inuyasha jumped in front of sota and picked him up by the color of his shirt.

"Should I cut your head clean off or slowly to let you suffer?" Inuyasha asked sliding his claws across his neck.

The rain beat hard in the moon light it was a clod night indeed.

Sota struggled.

"Fine if you won't answer me I'll chose." He began.

"Inuyasha…SIT!" came a scream from the top of the stone steps and soon after a big THUD! Kagome never knew why she didn't think of this sooner. "SIT, SIT, SIT, SIT, SIT, SIT, SIT, SIT, SIT! There ten should do." She screamed. Inuyasha's face was plowed into the pavement of the stones, and Sota was able to get out of his grasp. Kagome ran down to Inuyasha and knelt down by him and said,

"Sorry Inuyasha but I couldn't let you do that." She exclaimed. He started to rise slowly.

"Y-you…bitch!" Inuyasha snarled grabbing the hand that was on his shoulder and dug his claws into the flesh, Kagome yelped at the pain. And tried to get out of his grip.

"Take these beads off now!" Kagome didn't want to, of course it was the only way to control him but her arm's skin was ripping, bleeding. She reached for the prayer beads around his neck and grabbed them securely. She winced at the pain but slowly took off the necklace, this pleased the demon enough to let go of Kagome. She held the beads in her hands and held onto them like they were going to vanish into of thin air.

Inuyasha stood up licking the blood off his fingers. Sota and Grandpa were already gone making Kagome happy to at least they were safe. She then noticed the blood oozing down her arm; she had to go treat it immediately! But she couldn't leave Inuyasha here he could just go run among Tokyo destroying was the word she had to get him back in the house.

"Hey ummmm Inuyasha…why don't we go back to the house?" she asked.

"Tell me why in the seven hells would I want to go back there?" he argued.

"Well you see…oh never mind." What should I do if I told him to come back because I needed to bandage myself up he would wonder why he can't just go. And then it would bring up the conversation of him destroying Tokyo and oh he would like to do that. I bet that thought has crossed his mind, she thought climbing up the steps. She still held onto the prayer beads tightly in her hands like for protection. Maybe there's away I can get him back to his time, she pondered.

Kagome turned her head around to think to see Inuyasha making hell but no he was following her! Kagome was stunned why was he following her? She opened her mouth for words but nothing came out, it was like she was scared of him but she wasn't, she knew he would never kill her even if he is full demon.

"So Grandpa where we goin'?" the little boy asked.

"Where we were planning to go in the first place, your aunt's house for a week, remember?"

"But what `bout mom is she coming I don't know, but let's have a fun time and don't worry about." Grandpa said trying to make Sota happy.

"Yeah I guess I can worry about later so do you want to play a car game on the way?" ……………..

When the two reached the house Kagome went in the house but Inuyasha stayed outside.

"Hey Inuyasha why don't you come inside?" she asked coming back out with the bandages she needed and sat down by him.

He didn't answer.

"Well I guess you don't have to come in if you don't want to." Kagome began to wrap her wound.

"I'm…I'm…sor-sorry." He stumbled on the words that he rarely ever said.

"Oh don't worry about it Inuyasha its nothing." She said fumbling with the bandages. You could still tell her arm was throbbing of pain but she tried to hide it. Then she realized Inuyasha was helping her.

"Thanks…" she stated. Inuyasha finished with his deed and stood up.

I thought he was full demon why is he helping me? She though to her self before saying, "Where are you going?"

"Somewhere where I won't hurt you again." He told her and it seemed like he was heading for the well.

"Wait Inuyasha, I know your trying to protect me, but well I just know that you won't kill me so don't go." She insisted walking up close to him.

Inuyasha turned around and raised his head of which he was hiding his face, and Kagome saw gold eyes. It was the real Inuyasha he turned back.

But how that's impossible, she thought, when did he turn back?

"Sorry Kagome but how can I trust myself that I won't hurt you again?" he then turned around and went into the well shrine and then simply jumped down the well.

"Inuyasha, no," she began running to the well after him, but it was too late he had already gone down the well and there was no way back to his time. He had the jewel; she would never see him again, unless he comes back to her.
