The morning rays spilled over Sesshoumaru's face, and he woke to the most wonderful sight, Kagome, wrapped in his arms snuggled close to him. She looked so angelic, radiant even. He was never going to let her go, no matter what. He had felt so hurt yesterday when she confused him with the halfwit breed. `But she cares and loves me…'

She then gracefully flipped back into position and took out her bow, she fired about five arrows but he dodged them all. Sesshoumaru unsheathed his sword and started advancing at Naraku when Naraku slammed into him with a rare speed. Sesshoumaru was rammed into three trees and with one swift move Sesshoumaru was stabbed by a large splinter near his heart. Kagome watched with shock, she could barely move when she saw that Sesshoumaru was not moving. "NO!!!"

She turned to Naraku her eyes blazing red; she was floating in the air with a bright blue light emanating from her. She grew claws that appeared razor sharp, and she lunged at Naraku shredding him to pieces. Pretty soon all she was clawing was dirt. She threw her head up when she saw demons of all kinds advancing at Sesshoumaru's body and herself. She felt such pain and anger that the blue light coming from her blasted out disintegrating anything unwanted and in the process healing Sesshoumaru.

She then fell with a thud to the ground. Sesshoumaru awoke to find Kagome on the ground near him, she was unconscious. For a moment he feared she was dead. `Wasn't I dead, did she heal me?'

He picked her up then the shards, and flew the rest of the way to his castle.

Kagome awoke three days later, Sesshoumaru had begun to worry. She looked different her hands were still clawed and the ends of her hair had become slightly dark purple. She had a strange marking on her upper arm, her ears were slightly pointed, and she seemed…"fuller"

She still smelled like sakura petals and jasmine, but there was something else there she looked like a demon, but she did not smell like one.

She woke up during the night; tears were streaming down her face. "Sesshoumaru…" she whispered into the night. It smelled dewy, `had it been raining?'

"Kagome, you're awake." Kagome turned to the voice, "Sesshoumaru, is that you?"

He came closer and held her, "Yes"

"I thought you were..."

"…dead." He said with ease.

She tightened her hold on him

She stared past him into the mirror for a moment. "What the? What happened to me?"

She traced her fingers at the purple in her hair. Her eyes were streaked with a lilac, and she had …pointed ears?

"Sesshoumaru, why do I look like this?"

"Kagome I think mating with me has turned you into something else…perhaps that is why your training progressed so much, but I can't tell whether you are demon or not, you don't smell like a demon." Sesshoumaru looked at her, still with love and concern in his eyes.

He placed his head in-between her neck and shoulders and inhaled her scent. "Mmmm….you still smell good"

His hand was now creeping up her bare thigh. She had been wearing a robe and seemed to have nothing underneath, making her scent even more intoxicating to Sesshoumaru. He trailed his tongue down to her breasts and started to suckle the excited nipple, while he massaged the other breast.
