Please don’t hurt me!!! I couldn’t write cause I had so many things to do, but luckily I’m on spring break so I can finally give you this last chapter of this story. But don’t worry. For those of you who are fans of this story, I have a treat. Here in a few days I will post the first chapter in the sequel to this story! So enjoy this. I hope you like. P.S I borrowed a saying from Jack Sparrow from Pirated of the Caribbean. So please don’t sue me ^_^!

Chapter7: The adventure continues

“You what”, she said. “Kagome” Inuyasha said, letting her go, “I love you, I can’t remember when it started or how, hell when I look in your eyes I can’t even think straight. All I know is that, I love you” Kagome was beginning to develop tears in her eyes now. “But…I thought you loved Kikyo” she said tears running down her face now “She was all you ever wanted” “No” he replied “She was what I thought I wanted….Kagome nearly losing you showed me just how much I cared for you and how little I really cared for her” “But” “No buts”, Inuyasha said. Inuyasha put his hand on the back of her neck and gently pulled their lips together.

Meanwhile, Sango and Koga returned to the village. “Well I’m off”, Koga said. “Koga wait I have to ask you something” said Sango “Yes” “You’ve been after Kagome for so long, why are you heading to your home instead of fighting Inuyasha” Koga looked at the ground and then back at Sango “Because I love her” “I’m not sure I understand” “Well” he said with a half smile “I love her with all my heart. All I want is for her to be happy. And as much as it pisses me off to admit it. Dogshit makes her happy. So as long as she’s happy I’ll be okay” “You’re a good person… demon… whatever you know what I mean” “Ta” Koga walked over to Miroku. “Monk do you see her” Koga pointed to Sango and Miroku looked at Sango and watched her play with Kilala and Shippo. “Yeah I see her” “Believe me when I say you need to wait for the opportune moment” “I don’t get it” Miroku said now looking at Koga. “Trust me” Koga said with a smile “You’ll know soon enough” Koga sped off towards his cave leaving Miroku confused.

Inuyasha and Kagome walked back to the village hand in hand, not recognizing a pair of eyes watching them from behind the trees. “You will be mine, Inuyasha” Kikyo said to herself “I promise you that” That night Inuyasha and Kagome sat by the well talking about what was left to do. “Kagome I can’t” Inuyasha said “Whatever you choose I’ll be right here beside you” she said. “Kagome” he said looking into her eyes “I can’t choose between the two” “Why no” “Because if I chose to become a full fledged demon I could hurt you or Miroku or Sango. But if I went human I couldn’t protect you or everyone else” “So” Kagome said looking into his golden eyes, “So I will stay just the way I am” “Good” she said “I was hoping you’d say that” “Huh” Inuyasha said now slightly confused “I like you just the way you are” Kagome replied. Inuyasha gave a slight laugh and began kissing Kagome under the moonlight.

Meanwhile Miroku was leading Sango to a clearing in the woods next to the village. Finally getting there, Sango was the first to speak. “Miroku why did you bring me here” “To…to…Tell you” “tell me what” Sango heart was beginning to pound on her chest now “To…tell you that… I love you” After saying this Miroku leaned his face closer to hers, with his heart beginning to pound his chest. “What...what are you doing” Sango said still in shock “Taking the opportune moment’’ he said as be began to kiss her. Both of their heart took a leap as they kissed neither wanting to break away from what each had wanted for so long. “Miroku” Sango said reluctantly breaking the kiss “Yes” “I love you too” The two smiled as they began to kiss again. This kiss being more passionate than the last.

Kagome was leaning against Inuyasha as he leaned on the stone well. “Inuyasha” she said breaking the silence “Yes” he said looking down at her. “What do we do now” she said looking up at him “What do you mean” “Our journey is over, Naraku is dead and the jewel is complete” “I don’t…..Kagome look out” he said grabbing her saving the both of them from an enchanted arrow.

“Kikyo what do you want” Kagome said as Inuyasha helped her off the ground. “I want the jewel hand it over” “I doubt it” Kagome exclaimed. “Fine” said Kikyo casting an arrow at the ground causing a dust cloud to go over Kagome and Inuyasha “I can’t see” Inuyasha said as he and Kagome coughed. When the smoke cleared Kagome noticed she was no longer wearing the jewel around her neck. “Oh no” Kagome gasped “Oh yes” said Kikyo now holding the jewel. Suddenly the jewel was knocked out of Kikyo’s hand by one of Kagome arrows. The jewel burst into several shards once again. Inuyasha leapt into the air catching as many as he could. The rest shot out in different directions. “Bitch” Kikyo screamed in shock “what have you done” “Two things” Kagome replied “Number one I prevented you form getting the jewel” Not wanting to hear the second thing Kikyo ran off into the forest searching for the jewel shards. “Kagome” Inuyasha said handing her the shard he caught “what was two” “two” Kagome said putting the shards together making one fourth of the jewel whole, “two I extend our journey” she said with a smile. “Well” Inuyasha said looking at the sun beginning to rise “let’s go” now smiling himself. Kagome and Inuyasha met Miroku and Sango in the village. “Are you guys okay with that” Kagome asked just then finishing her explanation for how the jewel went form being complete to being one fourth complete. Miroku and Sango looked at each other and smiled. “I think we can handle it” Sango said with a smile.

“Can I come too” Shippo said with a smile “Of course you can” said Inuyasha hitting the small demon on the head. “Ow” “Inuyasha” Kagome said “Sit” Inuyasha landed with a thud on the ground. After pulling himself up, Inuyasha joined the on the road that led out of the village.

Hope you liked that. Be looking for the sequel. It’s called “A new future”. Hopefully the sequel will get more reviews than this story. This story didn’t even make it to ten reviews. *sniff* It was kinda disappointing. I guess it wasn’t all that good. But oh well. I do want to thank those that did review.
