A DEVILS GAME

CHAPTER 1

It was a half sleeping Kagome sitting in the bus with all the scholars. Her mother had called her out of bed with a plea of help, if she could go on the bus trip as helper. Of course Kagome had never been really good at saying no to her mother so now on one of her rare free days she was stuck in a bus with a fourteen year olds and boy are they annoying. `Where we ever like this.' Kagome wondered while her blurry bleu/grey eyes looked through the bus trying her hardest to block out all the chattering and yelling.

Miryoku the other mother who went on this trip as a helper was now sitting in the back of the bus having some kind of discussion with her daughter all Kagome could call up on that subject were Miryoku's mumbled words of boy's and kissing after which she had stormed off. Well left as fast as being in a riding bus would allow one to make haste.

Looking forwards again Kagome noticed Hitori looking at her. The teacher had been giving her stares the whole time she was on the bus and it was starting to get annoying, the man was at least fifteen years older then her and ugly to boot. Now usually Kagome was one to tell her self and other not to judge on looks but he was asking too much.

Pointedly ignoring his stare Kagome looked to the right trying to enjoy the landscape. That was the only good thing about this trip she would be going to the mountains again she had went on in a similar school trip. She had been fascinated than and the woman she had met only enhanced that feeling.

Now six years later she was going back and she couldn't wait to see the beautiful woods again and she hoped to find the place where she had seen the woman the last time. She could still see it so clearly. A woman about 5, 6 feet her body clad in wispy forest green silk. Long flowing brown hair going down to her calves in waves and the sun conjured red sparkles in it were ever it touched. A generous mouth pulled up in a half-smile and twinkling green eyes that couldn't disguise a hind of cynical nature.

The female had looked like a wood nymph a creature conjured up by her own imagination but she knew she had seen the truth for she hadn't been the only one there to see her. A teacher and another classmate had been there too. And they had all gotten the warning.

"Go away, far, far away for the wild still rules here." The woman had said her voice sounding demanding and impressive and gone they had mainly because the teacher had panicked and Kagome and Eri hadn't wanted to be left behind. They had run the whole way down not caring for the scratches and bruises they received. The three of them had stopped by the bus and once they had calmed down enough they had silently watched each other waiting for the other to begin talking about what they had seen. Until today Kagome hadn't uttered a word neither had Eri or the teacher.

Blinking Kagome pulled her self out of the memory and looked outside again trying to determine if they were close to the parking place but at the age of fourteen she hadn't particular cared about watching the nature so she couldn't remember how it looked. Giving up Kagome sunk back in her chair looking blankly to the seat in front of her.

After a while the soft humming and swinging from the bus brought her into a light sleep from which she got her hard needed rest. Half of her time was spend on college while the other half was spend on a job so she could pay to go to that college. It was a hard and tiring time of live for Kagome but she knew that once she had her diploma her real live would begin, one she had dreamed about since she was a little girl.

In her sleep Kagome saw her self standing before a board filled with designs of her own making. A group of people stood behind her writing down what she said while she pointed to certain designs. After some time she was done explaining and she send the people away to start to bring her designs to live. Slowly the office faded and Kagome found her self standing at the top of white marble stairs clad in a dress that by the look of it was unique and very likely quite expansive. With her right hand she picked the dress up so she would be able to descend the stair without accidents. The soft lilac satin flowed around her while she went down. All the people in the room stood watching her each one of them dressed in there best and finest garments. Then she stopped at the last step letting go of her dress she folded her hands together and looked around, then one man started clapping then another and another and in a matter of seconds the whole group was clapping.

From somewhere Kagome could hear a voice calling her name again and again until she open one eye and found her self looking in the grey eyes of Miryoku. It took her a few moments to understand where she was but then Kagome nodded to Miryoku that she was awake and stretched out stifling a yawn.

Looking out the window Kagome noticed that the bus was no longer riding and what was even better she recognized the place where the bus had stopped, they where there. A bolt of excitement shot through Kagome and all thought of sleeping and dreams left her. Making hast Kagome stood up picked her nylon backpack from the closet above her head and went to the front of the bus where she could step out.

Holding on to the railing for support Kagome got out of the bus taking in the parking pace and then all satisfied she inhaled deeply, it even smelled the same. The same fresh pine filled air. Joining the group of waiting teenagers Kagome worked some of the stiffness out of her muscles.

While waiting for Hitori to come with the rest of the supplies Kagome looked at the gym teacher misses Yoiji standing there with a big backpack on her back. Shaking her head Kagome turned away some people could be so stubborn. At the beginning of the trip Kagome and Miryoku had offered to carry a part of the load but Yoiji had flatly refused and told them that she and Hitori would be the only two carrying the school supplies. `What was that woman thinking that I would suddenly take of and burry the food.' Kagome snorted at her thought and turned back to face the group just in time to see that they had started moving.

Waiting fro everybody to be walking Kagome took the rear of the line. She wanted to enjoy this trip and not be forced to look back to see what a bunch of loud fourteen year olds were up to. Slowly the line disappeared between the trees following on old path and suddenly Kagome felt her self wondering who made it in the first place.

Kagome found her self watching her surroundings with a keen eye for the first time she had walked here she hadn't paid that much attention to it and she felt a pang of regret for she had missed out on a great deal of beauty and relieve flowed through her that she was able to see it after all.

Pine trees and loaf trees stood in silent harmony somewhere from the front she heard Hitori's voice being carried back to her while he explained the surroundings to a group of teenagers who couldn't care less that this ore that little plant could be used as bindings or that a leaf of a certain plant could be used to ease burned skin.

Slowly they climbed higher up the mountain and loaf trees became more spares. The music of birds could be heard along with the sound of other bigger animals; most probably deer Kagome had the fortune to spot one for a heart bead. She had marveled at the animal while she saw how its muscles strained for a leap under its skin, a second later it had disappeared between the greens.

Sighing Kagome looked back to the group she was following seeing that the children where behaving in much the same fashion she and Eri had when they had gone on this school trip. `There missing something great and they will never know it.' Kagome thought a bit sad. Shaking the feeling she hastened her pace for she was starting to get left behind.

On one particular spot of the trail everyone could look down upon the parking place the bus no more than a tiny white/red dot. A couple of meters from here Kagome remembered they would stop to eat and enjoy themselves for an hour or two before they would leave to get back down to the bus. If she remembered correctly the path would move further but there was a warning against going higher in the mountains than the resting point.

Sure enough after a few meters a open place with picnic tables tough grass covered the ground everywhere sometimes with a small white or white/pinkish flower sticking out. It looked exactly like the last time Kagome had eaten her lunch here.

Soon the place was covert with eating children most talking about TV show or movies, Kagome even picked out a discussion on books. The two teacher sad at a table in the back Miryoku sitting with them but she seemed to be ignored by the two. Kagome didn't particular feel like joining them even if it would make Miryoku feel better.

Trying to move to where the path continued Kagome made sure that she wasn't noticed knowing full well that if she was spotted her little trip would fall in the water. After a few minutes of carefully moving Kagome was finally out of sight for the picnic place and she was once again able to move normally.

Slowly walking further up the mountain Kagome took her surrounding in with loving eyes, now this part of the pat she remembered better. She and Eri had been playing truth and dare, while Kagome usually choose truth that time she had picked dare and Eri had dared her to break a rule and follow the path up the mountain. Not completely trusting Kagome to go a up the path she had gone along to make sure.

Both girls had walked for a couple of meters when Kagome had stopped and asked if this was far enough, Eri had said no and the girls had started walking again. They were at least fifteen minutes gone when they were caught up by a teacher Kagome didn't remember what her name was. She had scolded at the girls and threatened to write them up.

Just when she had gone into telling them what kind of punishments they could expect when they were back at school the woman had made an appearance telling them to get out and they had done just that. The only good thing about it was that she and Eri never had been written up or got punished.

Now six years later Kagome was again walking up the path she had just passed the place where she had asked Eri if they had gone far enough just a little while further and she would reach the place where she had seen the woman. Fully attended on finding the place Kagome at first didn't her the sounds until she was so close she almost stumbled over them.

Stopping dead in her tracks Kagome looked to what was playing out before her. It was the same woman and Kagome could feel a jolt of excitement whoosh through her. Then fear caught her and a huge feeling of forbidding crept through her being but Kagome stomped the feeling down and concentrated on seeing what happened before her.

At first she didn't understand what was happening exactly, she could make out a male sitting on his knees behind the woman supporting her back and holding her legs at the back near the knees up in a spread position. The woman was groaning and every now and than she puffed. Blinking Kagome wondered what was going on and she decided to take a closer look.

Slowly crawling nearer careful not to make a noise Kagome crept closer and when she had them in full sight she knew immediately what was happening the woman was giving birth. A bit shocked that anyone would want to give birth out in the open without medical help or even a doctor at the hand Kagome stared at the pair in fascination.

The male seemed to be speaking to the female non-stop telling her she was doing great and giving her compliments then he would encourage her when another contraction hit her. Without being aware Kagome bawld her fist in silent support when ever the female had a contraction then finally the woman pushed a baby out with a splash of watery looking blood.

The male carefully laid the woman on her back and moved to the baby picking it up and placing it on the mother's belly that was still quite expanded. Severing the umbilical cord with his nails then tying it up he moved back to take his old place. The woman grabbed some fabric from somewhere and wrapped the baby up just in time for then she was hit by yet another contraction.

Marveled Kagome realized that she would be having more than one baby, she was so taken up in watching the birth that she didn't even think about that the male had used his nails to cut the cord. She also didn't notice that she in return was being watched from behind.

Suddenly some kind of instinct made her look back but the second intruder had come to close for Kagome to take a run for it and after his swift punch to the scull she didn't see anything anymore.

:::: Scowling Guuzen looked down on the unconscious girl. Her hair spread around her like a sheet of night sky without the stars he recalled that her eyes had the color of water and the sky both in them. Throwing the girl an angry look he bend down and picked her up. "Great why do they always have to come when I'm on patrol and this one I can't discard because she saw too much. Fine, just fine." Guuzen sneered to the trees.

Placing the girl on his left shoulder he parted not even bothering taking a look at the pair sitting a bit further. Howling her up in his shoulder to make himself a bit comfortable he started to take a rout that would bring him even higher up the mountain. The path was rocky and steep and a normal human would have used special equipment but Guuzen just seemed to be taking a stroll.

After a while he stopped to take a more normal path shoving the girl back in place his rough treatment probably causing Kagome several bruises. "Shitty humans and there curiosity always sticking there nose where it doesn't belong." Guuzen spat taking a left turn.

Going from walking to a slow run Guuzen followed the path that would move up and then take a turn, and then it would go down again to only go up again somewhere further on the way. His nose told him Tenshi was already starting on the cooking and his mouth stared to water. Tenshi always made great stew and that wasn't the only thing his mate was good at Guuzen though his mouth twisting in a wicked smile.

That smile disappeared quickly when he replaced the human girl again. "Damn girl now I'll have to take care of you first. You better not make me lose the best of the stew or I'll find a way to make you pay." Guuzen's voice was dangerously low making the threat.

Falling back in walking Guuzen made a last right urn and the path came out into a open place in the back a wooden house could be found build against a rock wall. The courtyard was filled with pack-mates doing nothing or sharpening there weapons, other could be fund talking to each other or playing a came. A group of females standing near the rim stood talking to each other holding baskets filled with furs while other females where helping Tenshi cooking dinner. It was a familiar sight and one that made Guuzen feel warm inside.

Walking into the courtyard Guuzen's best friend Hakkaku came to him. "Well Guuzen what are you bringing home this time don't tell me you've chosen a second mate for Tenshi will surely have her head before the day is over." Hakkaku said well giving Guuzen a friendly pat on the back that would have felt a normal human.

Guuzen kept walking to the wooden house followed closely by Hakkaku. "Do you think me as stupid as that! No Tenshi is enough for me but this little girl I found watching our leaders. The girl has seen too much to just let knock out and let go somewhere were she can find her own way home." Guuzen finally answered Hakkaku's quip.

The two said no more and Hakkaku open the door for Guuzen. Coming inside the first thing that would be noticed was that there was no wall but an opening of a cave the house was merely a way of covering up the opening.

Going inside Guuzen didn't even bother looking at his surroundings being brought up her from just a pup he knew the ways inside out. For a while he ignored the other paths instead going strait but at a sideway with a red rock sticking out from the wall he left his previous path. In a few second he entered a small clearing rock bottom exchanged for springy grass and the small inner court three small caves could be found with iron fences placed in the openings turning them in cells. Guuzen dumped the still unconscious Kagome in the middle one and then closed it checking the lock before he and Hakkaku took of.

:::: slowly reality caught up to Kagome and with a mild headache she woke up. At first she didn't understand what happened until the images of the last moment came back to memory before she was knocked out.

Sitting up Kagome let out a growl and her hands went to her ribcage. Slowly pulling her yellow shirt up she noticed the numerous bruises now decorating her skin. Letting out another growl but now out of annoyance Kagome let go of the shirt and looked at her surroundings. It didn't take her all that long to figure out that she was locked up.

Panic and confusion washed over her and for a time Kagome was trying to rip the fence out but after some time her brain started to work normally again and she admitted defeat. She wouldn't be leaving until someone let her.

Sitting back Kagome started to figure out what had happened, trying to think of all kinds of reasons for what happened to her but one as likely to happened as a pink eagle flying by. After a while Kagome lost all concept of time and only the rumbling of her stomach told her diner time was nearing. After a while darkness fell and still no one had come for her.

Feeling restless Kagome moved towards the fence again at least this way she would see it immediately when someone came. Still somewhere while watching Kagome had fallen asleep her face resting against the fence giving her a nice imprint.

Kagome felt like she had slept for just a few second when she was pocked awake in a ruff manner. Howled up and only half awake Kagome obediently followed the one that had her arm in a firm grip. Not watching her surrounding when she started to wake up some more Kagome instead watched the persons walking with her.

The one holding her she recognized as the one knocking her out. His hair was a mix of grey and brown fasted in a low pony tail his ears were pointed and his features sharp and somehow they made Kagome think of a wolf. With the other males around her it was the same. Another thing they had in common was there clothing all seemed to have brown furs in it. But what was most unsettling were the tails.

All had long brown tails, feeling more uncomfortable with each passing minute Kagome tried to make as little a fuss as possible to make sure not to draw attention to her self. All the way to where they were going none of the males spoke.

Swallowing hard Kagome kept her eyes looking forward that was when she noticed what looked like the inside of a wooden cabin more people could be found there all standing seeming to wait for something. `There waiting for me to arrive.' Shot through Kagome.

The need to run was almost unbearable but somehow she managed to stay calm. The group parted and Kagome found her self being brought to the left side of the cabin where a huge bed could be found. Instead of a mattress the bed was filled with furs on it the nymph like looking woman could be found lying on her side four babies lying close to her body.

Guuzen brought the female close to the bed before forcing her down on her knees. Kagome was to frighten to protest at her treatment and obeyed willingly, sitting down on her knees her eyes still on the woman. From the corer of her eye Kagome could just make out the male she had seen helping the woman.

Keeping silent Kagome kept her eyes on the woman not sure what she had to suspect. "Well I remember you, you've grown." The woman said her voice impressing Kagome just as much as six years ago but this tie she also noticed the cold tune in it.

"I told you to go but some people just don't listen." Yosei sighed. "Know Guuzen has also told me you saw more than is recommended. I'm afraid I can not let you leave." The man that had helped her suddenly stepped out of his corner while walking to the bed a white mist started to come up starting at his feet in less than a heart bead the mist had appeared and disappeared but instead of a man now a wolf prowled to the bed. Taking a leap the giant black beast landed behind the woman and curled up behind her back supporting and comforting her.

The woman smiled at Kagome's look of disbelieve. "As you can see we are far from being human and now you know we can not take the risk we have been hunted and shunned now we have peace, I will not risk it." She stated her face a blank mask her voice icy.

Green eyes slowly took Kagome not missing an inch. "Guuzen, remove the cloths I want a better look at her." Kagome went into a shock this couldn't be happening; this was probably all just a dream. That determindtation relaxed her and instead of fearing what was happening she just thought she might as well play along she wanted to know what was going to happen in her dream next.

Guuzen stepped forward and with a few well placed rips of his claws he stripped Kagome down to her undies but even those were not left to her for he took them to. Now fully naked Kagome just watched the woman her bleu/grey eyes looking a bit dreamy. She felt to males hold her by her arm and make her stand up so the woman and everybody else could see how she looked.

By know Kagome was wondering if she would remember this dream the following morning she hoped not. Actually she hoped the dream would end soon it was no fun at all, but at least it wasn't a full out nightmare at least not yet. "Well girl tell me your name, surely you have a name." the woman asked.

Still in her shocked state Kagome answered her although she had to think hard on what her name was, but she figured it out. "My name is Kagome Higurashi." Kagome said meanwhile a small tread of fear began to penetrate her mind telling her this wasn't a dream.

Yosei watched the girl looked her over, sniffing her scent. "Okay Kagome I'm called Yosei. Now I have decided what to do with you." Somehow Kagome didn't get the feeling she would be killed but somehow that thought made her dread what was going to happen, even for a dream this was becoming bizarre. "You will live with us, from what I have seen and what my senses tell me you are a strong woman in many ways just like me. Therefore I have decided that you will be mated to my oldest son and prince of this pack. Kouga take your mate." Yosei said beckoning her son.

Still thinking she was in dream world Kagome did nothing she didn't even went into a discussion with Yosei over deciding her life just like that. The two men holding her arms let go and Kagome could feel someone coming up behind her. No thinking too much about it she expected to be just grabbed by her arm and carted of to somewhere else.

She did indeed get grabbed but not by her arms but at her sides again she was forced down on her knees but this time she was also forced to lean on her hands. Before she fully understood what was happening she could feel a body close behind her shifting in a position. His hands slipped down from her ribcage to her hips holding them in place she felt how the body of Kouga who she couldn't even see some closer.

The penetration was painful and brought her back into the real world immediately. Tears spilled down her cheeks while she thought how she had always wanted her first time to be special instead she was being raped by a complete stranger who wasn't even human while others of his kind stood by and watched.

Kouga's hands again moved from her hips to the front to cub her breast she could also feel his head come close to hers. Panting he rode her, his breath stroking her right ear. With each stroke Kagome felt herself spill more tears her feelings so intense she couldn't even make out what she was feeling exactly. Then he quickened his pace and his body started to tremble suddenly his head swooped down and he bit down hard at the junction of her neck and shoulder.

Kagome cried out in pain while Kouga bit her, but he let go of her fast and joined her cry with his own howl of release and his body slummed down taking Kagome's with him. Lying on the floor feeling broken and dirty Kagome kept crying silently. She could feel all those eyes watching her and she knew that Yosei the woman who had done this to her was watching her with a smile around those full lips and Kagome hated. For the first time in life Kagome hated.

The feeling burned all other emotions away and she found the strength to lift her upper body from under Kouga. Her bleu/grey eyes now burned with a passion and it was all directed at Yosei. "You. I hate you BITCH!!! Kagome flung the last word at her with all the disgust she could moister.

Yosei just kept looking at her with her half-smile. "You will make a good queen once, but not yet. Now all of you I need my rest and my babies are hungry." Yosei treated the subject the same way as a mild fight between members of her tripe. And all wolf-humans started to leave going outside or into the labyrinth of in the cave. She and Kouga her new `mate' left as last now he was holding her by her arm and she went with him fro now all her angered was spilled. Kagome felt tired, dirty, shamed and spend.

Walking with Kouga Kagome looked at him from the corner of her eyes and what she saw surprised her. He had long hair up in a high pony tail the color of black coals his eyes were a cobalt bleu like the rest of the pack his ears were pointed his cloths consisted out of brow furs and other materials and he had a long brown tail.

Somewhere in the back of her mind Kagome thought about how this day was like the devil played with it for surely no other would think up such a gruesome scene. Her last thought consisted mainly on how she would escape for she would find a way. Maybe she would have to spend some time between these monsters but she would find a way out of her, back to her home and friends. Back to her real family.
