"What's that smell?" said Inuyasha as he sniffed the air, "Wait a minute, Kikyo?" He ran at top speed into a clearing and saw a young beautiful girl asleep right before him. His eyes open wide as he said quietly "Kikyo?"

"Inuyasha, What's the matter? Who is that?" said Miroku as he and Shippo ran to catch up.

"I don't know but she looks like Kikyo," said Inuyasha as he bent down to examine her. The same hair color, and the same skin color, he thought to himself, but she doesn't smell exactly like her.

Now here's a little explanation of Inuyasha, Miroku, and Shippo. Inuyasha is a half demon-half human. He has silver hair with dog or cat ears with golden eyes and also a keen sense of smell. Since it was ancient times he wore ancient clothes. Miroku was a simple monk cursed in his right hand. A demon named Naraku made a hole in Miroku's great-grandfathers right hand and the curse was passed down. He had black hair and brown eyes and he liked beautiful young maidens but wasn't crazy about them, only few ever crossed his eyes. Shippo is an orphan fox/cub demon with red hair and brownish green eyes. He was little with small fox feet and a bushy brown tail. He also had wolf ears.

"She's asleep!" said Miroku gazing at her. She was one of the ones that crossed his eyes.

"No, she's dead!" said Inuyasha sarcastically as he picked her up.

"What are you doing?" said Shippo anxiously. He didn't want to wake her. He had never seen a human girl before.

"Well I can't just leave her here, can I?" said Inuyasha not looking back at him. I wonder who she is, he thought, I know she is like a twin to Kikyo but she is different.

Inside an old hut, the three travelers try and wake her.

"Man, she sleeps like a rock!" exclaimed Miroku as Shippo nodded in agreement. Then she started to stir.

" Where am I?" she asked lazily as she opened her eyes and nearly screamed in shock. There staring at her was a young man and two people with weird ears.

"Oh my gosh, who you are? What are you? Where am I? How did I get here? I want some answers from all of you!" she said trying to sound mean to frighten them and when she was finished she reached for her pack but a hand stopped her. It was Inuyasha's.

"Hold on alright! My name is Inuyasha and this is Miroku and Shippo," he said trying to act calm. You know it's hard to act calm with a hysterical girl near you.

"Okay, okay I'll try to act calm but this is too weird. I mean there I was doing my experiment and then I end up here." She said looking around and then added silently to herself, "If only I knew where here was?"

"What's your name?" asked Shippo curiously, he liked her. She smiled at him and said, "Kagome"

"Kagome" said Inuyasha thoughtfully to himself.

"Okay let's get down to discussing the matters at hand" said Miroku. Then they started explaining to each other the information that was needed between them. (During the conversion, Inuyasha and Kagome noticed that they were still holding each other's hands and quickly let go)
