A family of warriors

Everyone is still wet from there swim. They begin there walk back to the village dripping wet. Conversation was short until they arrived back at the village were an unexpected visitor was waiting. It was Kouga ,the wolf demon. He appeared to have come in peace . But it was something about is style today were you can tell that there was something wrong. He starred coldly, mainly at Inuyasha. Inuyasha slowed down a little and so did Miroku, sensing that his demeanor was different.

“Hey Kouga !” said Kagome as Inuyasha still had his hand around her.

Kagome went running over to Kouga. Kouga’s didn’t even look her in the eyes. He was looking at Inuyasha with a emotionless face, but you could tell by the fire in his eyes he was enraged. When Kagome reached him he jumped high into the air over Kagome’s head. “Inuyasha ! I challenge you !” He sent a flying kick to Inuyasha, which Inuyasha easily dodged it by side stepping.

“I don’t know what’s gotten into you... !”Inuyasha says as he draws the Tetsuiga. ”But it’s about time , I’ve been waiting for a reason to kill you!”

“No, what’s going on ?” asked Kagome as she ran beside Inuyasha.

“Step aside Kagome...I’ve been waiting for this day, for this jealous fool to come and try to fight me over you !” yelled Inuyasha.

“Is this true Kouga ?” asked Kagome as her voice went horse, you could tell she was about to cry. This fueled Inuyasha even more.

Inuyasha growled “Your going to die today Kouga!” he said as he pointed the Tetsuiga at Kouga.

“No please, I don’t want you to fight” Kagome cried.

Miroku touched Kagome’s shoulder from behind. ”You must understand that if you want to be with Inuyasha, then Inuyasha will have to fight Kouga. Its the way things are in Kouga’s and Inuyasha’s world. “

“That’s right” said Inuyasha. ”I wish there was some other way Kagome...I promise you Kagome, I won’t kill him, it’ll be fine. I promise.”

Miroku took Kagome over to were Sango was and sat down.” We shall watch from here , lets pray for the best.”

“I know that I must fight you without my sword...and I will, but lets hope for your sake you don’t piss me off.” Inuyasha sheaths the Tetsuiga and throws the entire sword to Miroku, he catches it and gives it to Kagome. Inuyasha turns his attention to Kouga. “You do realize that you fighting me is pointless, Kagome will never love you, especially if you kill me !” said Inuyasha as a reminder.

Kouga dashes off at Inuyasha full speed. “I’m gonna shut your mouth for good mutt !”

Before Inuyasha could react to Kouga’s sudden burst of speed he was hit with an upper cut from Kouga’s strong hand. He was sent flying backwards , he barely landed on his feet before Kouga was in his face again, this time Kouga tries a kick but Inuyasha sways back and he misses , Inuyasha took advantage of the miss by using his claws to cut deep into Kouga’s shoulder.

“Your pretty slow if you ask me .” Inuyasha panted . He lunged forward with his claws swinging.

Kouga tries to block but ends up cutting up his arms in the process , Inuyasha misses the last swing, and pays with a round’ house kick to his ribs, you could hear the impact. Inuyasha couldn’t even get a word out as he dropped to his knees clutching his ribs and breathing heavily. Inuyasha managed to get a growl out as Kouga speaks. “Take that sword away and your just a weak half breed. Kagome look at him! He can’t even stand, I’m yours now! he pointed.

Kagome cries. “I hate you for this Kouga !”

A shocked look took Kouga’s face. “Heh... how could you hate me!”

Inuyasha gets his wind back and immediately swings at Kouga. Kouga dodged it. Inuyasha eyes blinked red his hair rose up for a second, like a flash. “Damn you, Kouga.” He growled.

Kouga jump’s back about 15 feet or so after witnessing this .

“ What?....What the hell did I just feel coming from that mut ?! “

Inuyasha spoke fiercely . “You know Kouga your a real fool for coming here.” his eyes flashes red again. “She’ll never love you especially after today.”

“Inuyasha stop . . . .” cried Kagome.

Inuyasha eyes stayed red and the pupils turned blue , he growled ferociously as his hair stood up.

“It’s happening again” warned Miroku.

“He’ll kill him, we must do something.” suggested Sango.

“Should I be scared . . .?” barked Kouga as he took another step forward and then got into a serious fighting stance.

This time Inuyasha was the first to charge. Kouga was surprise that he couldn’t even see him coming. All Kouga could do was put his guard up. But that was probably the worst thing possible to do. Inuyasha’s new grown claws ripped through his guard shattering the front of Kouga’s armor into hundreds of pieces. Blood gushed from Kouga’s chest as he landed several feet away from the impact point sliding and crashing though a rather large boulder. Inuyasha smiled while he held is bloodied hand high in the air as a symbol of victory. Inuyasha then jumped high in the air to deliver the final blow but before he could land he was caught in the air by a shift of wind. ”I’ve got him !” yelled Miroku as he used the wind tunnel to make Inuyasha plunge to the ground with a hard impact, of course he would be fine in that state. Quickly Kagome yelled ’ sit’ and he was broken of the evil trance . But fell unconscious from the stress.

“We have to get Koga help too ...” said Kagome.

“Your right but how can we carry him ?” questioned Miroku.

Suddenly almost as if on cue , Kouga’s two main henchmen (I forget there names) come running. “Kouga !” said the first one. “Were is he ,he runs to fast” panted the other one. They ran to Kagome and the others and tried to catch there breath. “Hey Kagome have you seen . . .hey what happened to Inuyasha ?

“No time to explain .“ said Miroku as he put Inuyasha on Kirrara’s back . “You have to take care of Koga.” he ordered.

“What do you mean ?” they looked around and was shocked to find Koga twitching on the ground with pieces of armor, and blood scattered every were. “Koga !” they yelled as they ran to help him.

“We must go.” urged Sango as she waited to take off. Kagome hesitated she was worried about both Inuyasha and Kouga. She took one last look at Kouga before getting on Kirrara and leaving.

Sessomaru , who have been wondering the western lands on patrol had caught the scent of the full demon Inuyasha and even more the blood of a wolf demon. It had secretly been his duty to control Inuyasha when he transformed like that. He arrived at the scene only to find that no one was there. He looked around calmly , despite the scene that appeared as a massacre .All he could see was blood and bit’s of armor. He walked over and picked up a shred of Inuyasha’s red kimono. ”A scent of a full demon ?” he pondered. He looked in the direction that he sensed Inuyasha and his group go and then dashed off. “It’s happened again.” he growled to himself.
