The next day, Angela had to explain her friends and brother what happened at the castle. It was basically the same explanation that Angelo told them. The only questions that were in everyone's minds were: How are Angelo and Angela siblings? How did Angelo know what Angela went through in the castle? They asked these questions when Angela was finished speaking.

 

Angelo replied that they were twins. Everyone in court, including their mother and father, thought that it would be best if nobody knew that they were twins. So, they gave their son to the General of the Army and raise him like his own and to never tell him who he actually is.

 

“But why?” asked Sango.

 

Angelo told her that they thought that son would be safer than the daughter since the son was born first. They would try to murder him than the daughter. Whenever the daughter would be of age, she would have to marry a prince and the prince would be king of the heavens.

 

“When did you guys realize that you were related?” asked Miroku?

 

Angelo replied that after Angela was kidnapped, the king told him when he returned. Angela already knew that they were twins after she eavesdropped her parents' conversation one day when she was thirteen. She knew she had to keep it a secret from Angelo so he would be safe.

 

“Angelo, how did you know what Angela went through when she was in Naraku's castle?” asked InuYasha.

 

“I guess it's just that in my dreams, I could see what Angela was seeing, I could see her dreams, feel what she felt. It felt like I was there with her or in her. When our father told me that we were twins, I guessed that we had a connection of some sort. But, I could never find that damned castle,” Angelo told him.

 

Angela took her brother's hand and squeezed it for comfort. Angelo gave his sister a weak smile.

 

Kagome was still pondering why Naraku wouldn't fight Angela right then and there. When she said that, InuYasha said, “He was probably too busy fucking Kikyo to do anything.” Angela laughed at that.

 

“You're probably right InuYasha!” she giggled.

 

After that, everyone started walking back to Kaede's village to pick up Shippo and continue finding the shards. Even though Naraku had most of them, they could never be too sure.
