Inu Yasha-dog demon- declares Kagome is his woman

Kagome-reincarnation of Kikyo

Shippo-fox demon… cute cute cute

Sesshomaru- after hearing Inu Yasha has taken Kagome as a "mate", he kidnaps her.

Rin- doesn't approve of Sesshomaru's childish behavior.

Miroku- voices the fact that he is in love with Sango, and only Sango_ tells Koaru privately that he cannot be with her.

Sango- is completely shocked at Miroku's statement, but says she feels the same way.

Mom- DUH!

Jii-chan- Kagome's grandpa

Sota- DUH!

Koaru- is in love with Miroku_ in the anime/manga she is also convinced he is her first love

Kikyo- is jealous of Kagome and tries to kill her several times throughout the story.

Koga- is in love with Kagome, and takes her away, (aka kidnaps her). However, he has his reasons, (honorable intentions, thank you! I like Koga!)

Myouga- no significant plans for him, so far.

Hojo- finds out the truth about the well and jumps in. he is pulled into the feudal era because of his feelings for Kagome

Kaede- not telling what I am planning for her.

Kirara- DUH!

Leila- Kagome's American friend- studying to be a priestess- recently took a trip to Ireland to study their magic.

Terminology

Hanyou- to my understanding, I think it means half-demon

Youkai- demon

Shikon jewel- the jewel of four souls, or the "Shikon-no-tama"

Blades of Blood- Inu Yasha's attack that involves his own blood on his fingertips

Iron Rever Soul Stealer- this attack rips the opponent to shreds- one of my favorite attacks of Inu Yasha

Tetsusaiga- its name means "steel cleaving fang" It is Inu Yasha's weapon

Tenseiga- "natural fang" Sesshomaru's healing sword

Kappa- "river imp"

Gaki- hungry ghost

Poison Flower Claws- Sesshomaru's attack- melts the victim

Fox Fire- Shippo's attack

Kitsune- Shippo is a kitsune- a young fox-demon
