A Fight for Love
Chapter Two
Sorry I haven't updated this fic. I had some personal problems that had to taken care of first. But everything
is fine now. I hope to have it finished by the end of August or early Sept. Thank you for being patient with me.

The following Morning:
Early the next morning Rin was up finishing her packing of her weapons, clothing, everyday essentials
for women. Her father walked up and knocked on the wall on the side of her room.
"Rin honey, the carriage is outside waiting for you."
"I'm coming Father, she said as she picked up her bags and walked out of the room. As she walked
down the hallway, she thought about how her life was going to change one way of the other forever.
She knew of the possibility that she would win or lose in the tournament, but she was thinking
positive that she would gain a demon lord for a husband and the father of her children. That idea alone
brought a smile to her face because she loved children very much, and wanted her own someday. She wanted
her husband demon or human to be strong, like her and skilled in weaponary, and very smart. She had come
to the decision that it was alright if her husband was a demon, as long as he loved her the way she would
love him. But, she was still scared. H er father was there for her, but she needed her mother to talk to her
about marriage, children and how to be the ideal wife and mother. Her own mother had died in childbirth
3 years ago, trying to give birth to her little brother, who also died. She missed her mother very much.
Her father was there for her to protect her and guide her and that was good enough for her.
When Rin walked outside her father was there to give her a proper farewell and to say good luck.
"Rin my darling daughter, please take care of yourself, and win the tournament, and bring me back a
fine son-in-law, he laughed softly as her hugged his daughter tightly.
Rin hugged her father just as tight, letting a couple of tears fall on his sleeve.
"I will father, I'll take good care of myself, win, and marry and bring you back that son-in-law you
want."
The driver of the carriage stepped down walked over to them, and said," Miss we must be going, You are
the last one and we are a little late."
"I'm sorry, yes we should be going," Rin said as she let go of her father backing away from him. The driver
put her things in in back of the carriage and climbed back onto the drivers seat and placed the reins on his
lap.
"Rin,wait honey! I have something to give you." Her father said.
Rin turned and said, "What is it father, what do you wish to give me."
"I have a special gift for you," I give you my sword as my gift." Her father said as he handed it to her.
Rin looked at the sword. She held it in her hand and she could see the beautiful craftmanship of it. The
blade was made of the strongest steel money can buy, it was polished to perfection. Very sharp, long and light
to the touch, a powerful sword. The bottom was made of pure ivory. With the design of a serpent wrapped
around the handle.
Father, your sword! "I cannot take IT!, the sword is yours." Rin said as she looked to her father.
"Take it child, I have other swords that I can use, plus you mastered your swordmanship with this sword." Her
father said as he shoved the sword into his daughters hand.
"But its your favorite sword!, "No father I cannot take it." Rin said as she pushed the sword back into her
fathers hands."
"Yes you will take the sword, Rin!" Just think of me when you use it, and never let it go." "Do this for me
darling". Her father spoke to her softly.
"Thank you, Father" I will always think of you when I use the sword, I'll never let it go."
Rin hugged her father one last time before he escorted her to the awaiting carriage. Rin turned around with
tears in her eyes, she looked up to see her father wiping a few of his own tears away as she climbed into the
carriage. Her father came up to close the carriage door and to tell his daughter goodbye.
Rin peeked out of the side of the open window and waved goodbye to her father as the driver snapped the
reins signalling for the horses to leave.
"Goodbye Father, I love you and I will make you proud," she waved as the tears flowed down her cheeks.
"Bye Rin, come back to me safe and married my only child,"I love you with all my heart." He wiped the tears
that formed in the corners of her eyes, as he watched his only child leave to go and claim a husband in the
battle of her young life.

Back at the castle:
"Mi lord, all of the women have arrived here except one." Jaken said as he entered his masters study. "She is
on her way, at least an half hour away.
"Very well Jaken, make sure that all the women are fed, bathed and place new kimonos in their rooms." Sesshomaru
said as he left the room.
"Yes Mi Lord, it will be done." Jaken said as he following behind his master.
Sesshomaru walked out into the garden and sat on a nearby bench by a beautiful statue in the middle of a small
garden. The statue was beautiful inuyoukai female, she had long hair like Sesshomarus, a very expensive kimono
and her features resembled that of Sesshomaru.
"Mother, I need you right now, "I'm a little scared. "I want to choose a mate on my own, I don't want any
woman forced to mate with me and she doesn't love me. I want my mates love for me 100%. I want her heart,
body and soul. No matter if she is human or demon. That does not matter to me." Sesshomaru said as he
waited for a response.
"Sesshomaru my son, You will meet your future mate." Even before the tournament begins. It will be love at
first. "And she is human." You and her are destined to be together. She will love you with all her heart, body
and soul. You will be her everything, her whole world. And she will only want your love. "Now go, my son for
she is as close as you think."
"Mother, I can always count on your help." Thank you. Sesshomaru said as he stood to leave.
"Your welcome Sesshomaru, My boy." his mother said as her voice faded in the wind. He felt his mothers hand
touch his cheek before she left him once again. A smile rose on his face as he slowly made his way through the
garden onto the castle grounds.

Approaching the castle:
Rins carriage slowly approached the castle gates. She looked in awe at how beautiful it was. Indeed the
castle was magnificant. A tall ivory structure, huge sakura blossoms trees surronuding it, she looked
through the gates to see different varities of plants, flowers, small trees, scruptures and many other things.
All surrounded by a beautiful black gate with flower designs crafted in it. She didn't know that the front
gate was opened until the carriage started to move through the gate.
The driver stopped at the front entrance of the castle, he stepped down walked around the side of the carriage
where Rin sat waiting patiently. He smiled as he opened the door and held his hand out to Rin, which she gladly
accepted and stepped out of the carriage onto the ground. Once out of the carriage the driver closed the door
behind her and went to get her belongings. Rin was about to step onto the ivory steps of the castle when she was
greeted by a small green demon and two demon female servants.
"Welcome Miss, you are the last of the women entering the tournament. The servants will take your belonging to
your room and another will show you to the bath house and finally to the dining room," Jaken said.
"Thank you, You are to kind Sir." Rin said as she smiled and bowed in front of him. Jaken bowed and turned to
leave her to the servants.
The servants took her belongings inside the castle to her room, as another servant appeared. "Will you please
follow me, the other servantr took Rins belongings to her room. Miss? And my name is Subaki, and your name Miss?
"My name is Rin? She said in her cheery voice.
The servant escorted her down a long corridor, past the most beautiful paintings she ever saw. They were all
of a Inu-youkai and his family. The paintings consisted of a handsome male Inu-youkai, his wife and a small
Inu-youkai child. All three were beautiful, they all had long silver-white hair, a crescent moon on the mother
and childs fore-head, all three several markings on their cheeks and wrists.
"What a beautiful family they are!" Rin said Subaki.
Subaki turned to Rin and said, "Thats Lord Sui-gumi and his family, his wife Tahashi, and their son, Sesshomaru."
they are indeed a beautiful family. Sesshomaru is Lord and master of this castle now. Subaki said as she placed
her hand on the handle of the bath house door.

"Rin, we are here! Subaki said as she gripped the door handles and opened the polished black doors. When Rin
walked inside she saw the most beautiful site she has ever seen. The hotsprings looked like a dream, a huge
indoor steaming spring with exotic trees and plants, colorful flowers, large and small boulders and what really
caught her eyes was the crystal clear water cascading from a waterfall coming out of the mountain to the left
of her.
"Its beautiful!!!" Was all Rin could say as she stood there in awe looking all around the spring.
"Miss Rin, you can change behind the screen over there by the wall, everything you need is there." Subaki said
with a smile.
"Thank you," Rin said returning the smile.
"I will come later to take you to the dining room and to your room," Subaki said as she turned to leave.
When Subaki left the room, Rin walked over to the screen. Behind it she found everything she needed. She
undressed wrapped a towel around her, got the soap off the shelf and walked over to the hot spring. She
stuck her toe in the water to make sure it was just the right temperature.
"Its just right," Rin said as she removed the towel and slowly stepped into the water. The water felt heavenly
to her sore muscles. The rich mineral water soothed her skin making it feel smooth to the touch. After a few
minutes of soaking, she begin to lather the soap in her hands and proceeded to bathe and wash her hair. She
ducked under the water to rinse her hair. She came back up and swam to the edge to relax. She decided to relax
a little longer, but just a little. She knew she had to get dressed and get settled into her room.
"Just five more minutes," Rin said as she laid her head on the edge of the spring. Ten minutes later a very
relaxed Rin stepped out of the hotsprings and dried herself off. She walked back to the screen and choose a
dark blue kimono embroided with white doves on the left bottom sleeve and all around the bottom of it. She
also picked the white obi, and matching white sandals. The silk material of the kimono felt so good to her
skin. It was something she had never felt before.
"So soft and silky", Rin thought as she ran her hands through the material.
She finished drying her hair and dressing, the last thing that was left were the sandals, which she would put
them on when she sat down on the bench on the side of the screen.

Meanwhile:
Sesshomaru was walking toward the hotspring for a much needed bath, when his nose picked up the
scent of wildflowers and vanilla. He knew that the scent was coming from the hotsprings, but he didn't know who
the scent belonged to, and decided to investigate. He reached the spring door in mere seconds and opened the
door silently. What he saw next made his heart skip a beat.
There on the bench a few feet away form him was a young human female, she was bending over putting on her
white sandals. Her long black fanned over her back and the blue kimono she wore clung to her body like a
second skin, showing him a very good view of her rear. He had to look away before he did something foolish
to the young women. It was so tempting, but he had to control his emotions. He slowly walked over to Rin
letting her heard his footsteps.
Rin thought it was Subaki returning and said,"The Lord has a beautiful castle and hotspring here," He has very
good taste in beauty." Rin said as she raised up fixing her obi and kimino, closing her eyes relaxing.
"Thank you, You approve of my castle and hotspring!" Sesshomaru said with a slight smirk.
Hearing a males voice instead of the Subaki's startled her some, Rin jumped up turned around and starred at
the most handsome male that she ever seen in her life. Her eyes widened at the sight of him, he was gorgeous
every womans fantasy, standing there in front of her. "Oh, Kami he's an angel, tall, long silvery hair, the most
beautiful golden eyes I've ever seen." She could tell he was well-muscled, by how his body looked in his top and
pants, she could tell that he was something to be reakoned with.
"What is your name, woman!" Sess asked with no emotion while his insides were going crazy. He thought that
she was very beautiful, especially for a human. He starred at her, marveling in her beauty and how the kimono
fit her. It showed off all her curves and the fullness and roundness of her breasts.
"My name is Rin, My Lord!" She said breaking his concentration, his eyes were glued to her body and when Rin
spoke he looked up into her deep brown eyes and she into his amber orbs, they both starred at each other quielty
until Subaki walked in and over to them.
"Lord Sesshomaru, Miss Rin, Subaki said several times finally able to get their attention. Rin was the first to
break eye contact and looked over to Subaki and said.
"Please call me just plain Rin, not Miss Rin it makes me feel kinda old". She laughed
Subaki smiled, "I'm here to take you to the dining room, Mis- Rin". Subaki said softly.
Rin turned to Sesshomaru, bowed and said, "Good Day to you Lord Sesshomaru" excuse me and started to follow
Subaki only to be stopped by Sesshomaru's hand on her shoulder.
"Good Day to you too Rin, Sesshomaru said with a smile on his face.
Rin could feel her heartbeat increase and she shivered at the touch of his hand. And Sesshomaru smirked because
he could see how his touch had effected her.
"Will I see you again, Rin" Sesshomaru said in his barotone voice.
"Yes, you will see me again," Rin said she bowed again and left the room following Subaki to the dining room.
Sesshomaru stood there and watched her leave with Subaki. "Mother, I have found my mate the one that you
foretold me of. A smile rose upon his face, he turned to proceed to bathe and think about the raven haired
beauty named Rin.
Rin walked down a long corridor to the dining room. She couldn't get the image of the handsome demon lord out
of her mind. She placed her hands over her heart, "Father I have my found husband. He will make you very proud
as well as myself." He's my dream come true. Rin said as she smile and followed Subaki into the dining room.

"Will I see you again, Rin" Sesshomaru said in his barotone voice.
"Yes, you will see me again," Rin said she bowed again and left the room following Subaki to the dining room.
Sesshomaru stood there and watched her leave with Subaki. "Mother, I have found my mate the one that you
foretold me of. A smile rose upon his face, he turned to proceed to bathe and think about the raven haired
beauty named Rin.
Rin walked down a long corridor to the dining room. She couldn't get the image of the handsome demon lord out
of her mind. She placed her hands over her heart, "Father I have my found husband. He will make you very proud
as well as myself." He's my dream come true. Rin said as she smile and followed Subaki into the dining room.
