Chapter 2: Training a Lord to become a Slave Day: 2

 

 

 

 

“Wake up Sesshoumaru! You must be awake before your master!” Anochi yelled as he opened the cell door. What he didn't expect, was to find Sesshoumaru awake. “Oh, when did you get up?”

 

“When I smelt you awake” Sesshoumaru answered, looking bored. “Very wise Sesshoumaru, Looks like we don't need to work to hard on that lesson. First though, we should practice table manner over breakfast.” Anochi stated. Sesshoumaru nodded, still looking bored. They went into the dinning area and practiced what Sesshoumaru learned yesterday. Sesshoumaru didn't eat much, for youkai are never really hungry. He just took a sip of Anochi's food and nodded. “Damn Sesshoumaru, you are a fast learner” Anochi complimented. Sesshoumaru snorted, and then waited for Anochi to finish.

 

Sesshoumaru was then taken back to the room he trained in yesterday. There he learned of the first lesson of the day. “Sesshoumaru, you must know to learn your masters' scent.” Anochi stated and opened the gate. Sesshoumaru was hit with many different smells, he hated it. Anochi saw the discomfort on Sesshoumaru face which Anochi was sure he was trying to hide. “This is what it might be like, you never know, most palaces have very many different scents that you will just have to get used to.” Sesshoumaru nodded, discomfort still on his face.

 

“Lets start then, shall we?” Anochi asked and sat on a stool. “Now, we need to bring that Miko in here” As if on cue the Miko Kikyou came in and asked if Anochi needed any help. “In fact I do, uh we need a spell that will make me disappear.” Anochi then turned to Sesshoumaru. “You do know my scent right?” Anochi asked. Sesshoumaru nodded. “Good, I am going to disappear and go somewhere in the room. Try and pick out my scent from all the others.” Sesshoumaru nodded again. Anochi motioned Kikyou to cast the spell and he disappeared. While Anochi tried to hide, Kikyou started talking.

 

“Sesshoumaru, you are the brother of Inuyasha right?” Kikyou asked. Sesshoumaru hadn't thought about Inuyasha for a long time, but the thought of him now made him angry. “Half-brother” Sesshoumaru growled. “Yes of course but, do you know where he is?” Kikyou asked a little worried. “Yes” Sesshoumaru said simply then started sniffing. Kikyou was going to ask another question but decided to not interrupt the lesson.

 

The many different smells made Sesshoumaru a little distracted, but he tried hard to pick out Anochi's scent. Luckily, he found it after 2 minutes and he walked to where it came from. Even though Sesshoumaru couldn't see him, Anochi's scent made him think he could. He tapped Anochi on the shoulder and the disappearing spell faded.

 

“Very good Sesshoumaru. You will defiantly make a fine slave.” Anochi complimented. The word slave still got on Sesshoumaru's nerves, but he was learning to accept his fate. Sesshoumaru hesitantly nodded. “We must practice a few more times and then go to lunch.” Sesshoumaru nodded again.

 

Finding Anochi got easier and easier, and soon Sesshoumaru was finding him in 30 seconds. His scent now, Sesshoumaru knew very well. He smelt like Evergreens and rice. Not exactly a smell that Sesshoumaru liked but, he didn't mind it much.

 

The lunch bell was ringing and Sesshoumaru was taken back to the dinning area. Sesshoumaru sat next to Anochi and sipped his soup, nodded, then sat with his eyes closed. Anochi just ate happily. Sesshoumaru was thinking again. `Why did the wench want to know about my damned half-brother?' he was trying to figure out. `Doesn't everyone know where he is?' he thought. Then he remembered something. `Oh, I almost forgot, he was taken secretly. So that he didn't get captured. I don't see why the emperor would not enslave hanyou's too…' Sesshoumaru didn't understand the emperor, he had never seen him before, he knew though, that when he got his youkai powers back, he'd kill him.

 

“Sesshoumaru! Is anybody in there?! Hello?” Anochi yelled, knocking Sesshoumaru on the head. Sesshoumaru flinched. “There you are Sesshoumaru. Where were you inside your brain?” Anochi asked and Sesshoumaru said nothing. Anochi sighed. “Fine, don't tell me, but we have another lesson today.” Sesshoumaru nodded and followed Anochi out of the dinning area.

 

They went back to the training room and Sesshoumaru was glad that the many different smells were gone. There were objects in the room though. There was a bed, a dressing curtain, table, rice in bowls, and lots of other stuff.

 

“The last lesson of training before we practice everything you have learned is how to bow.” Anochi said as he sat at the table. “Oh great” Sesshoumaru whispered. “Now I have to bow to humans, could this get any more torturous?”

 

“Well, it could Sesshoumaru, like me saying `bad'”

 

 

>WHAM<

 

 

“Oh Sesshomaru I'm so sorry, my fault, won't do it again.” Anochi said apologetically. Sesshoumaru lay on the grass subdued. “Damn” he huffed. When the spell wore off he got up and sighed. “What do I have to do?” he asked, a little annoyed. “Its not much you just have to bow like a servant would bow. On you knees, hands in lap and head to the ground.” Sesshoumaru tried to resist rolling his eyes as he sat on his legs and bowed.

 

“Sesshoumaru, since you are such a fast learner, you have managed to learn everything about being a slave in only two days. We will practice everything you learned today with the objects in this room. The two little things that I need only talk about are you have to sleep in the same room as your master and you must be near him/her always, even when they dress. Back turned of course.” Anochi stated and Sesshoumaru lifted his head. “Yes, master.” He spoke and received a surprised look from Anochi. The word still tasted bitter in his mouth but he understood that he would be saying it for a very long time.

 

Sesshoumaru and Anochi practiced for the rest of the day until they both were extremely tired. “Good work Sesshoumaru, you will make a fine slave.” Anochi complimented. Sesshoumaru resisted growling at the word. “Tomorrow it's the slave market, and I know that sounds bad but don't worry Sesshoumaru, I'm gonna try and get you to be in the emperor of Japans palace.” Anochi stated and left Sesshoumaru in his cell. Sesshoumaru was left to think as sleep over took him.

Sesshoumaru: Yeah so? Now Inuyasha is in the story

Inuyasha: Do I get to be the hero?!

Sesshoumaru: No

Inuyasha: Grrrrrr who does than?

Sesshoumaru: Oh, I don't know…who was the first two chapters about?

Briana: Now don't you two fight in my house or I'll say `sit' and `bad'
