The Living Doll

Rin sat on her bed quietly opening the box that held the beautiful doll. As soon as she had the top of the box off, she decided that she shouldn't take out the doll until she knew exactly how she was going get the doll to be real. So she silently put the doll neatly under her pillow so the doll would not be lost. She then walked over to the door that led to the hall outside. She walked silently through all the curves of the hallways. She kept walking until she came across two large doors at the end of the long hallway. She quietly opened the door and crept inside towards a bookshelf that held lots of old magic and sorcery books. She looked at the names of all the books and sighed. She kept looking until she saw a book called Yrecros, she looked at it and saw, in little letters 'Magic and Sorcery Spells for anything at all'. She grabbed the book and quickly dashed out of the room towards her bedroom. Once inside of her room she turned around and locked the door, and then ran over to her bed. She sat down quietly at the end of her bed and opened the book. She turned the page to the Contents page. 'Changing Features?... no... Relationship Spells?... no... Ah here it is!... Ok, page 372' She carefully but quickly turned it to the correct page and started reading:

Items needed:

1 large piece of hard paper

1 bottle of red ink

1 bottle of blue ink

1 inanimate object

6 tiger's eye quartz

1 eagle feather

Once Rin saw what items she needed she pushed the book under her bed with it still on the same page, and she scrambled to the door, unlocked it and tiptoed into the hall. She quietly walked towards her dad's study and took the skeleton key out of her front overall pocket and looked through the hall to make sure no one was coming. She quickly turned the key and snuck in and closed the door. After putting the key back in her pocket she silently walked towards shelves labeled 'Crystals and Quartz'. "Let's see Rin needs tiger's eye quartz." She looked at all the jars. "Sesshomaru-sama puts them in alphabetical order." 'aquamarine quartz... Q... R... S... there T...Te... Th.. Tiger's eye quartz but the T's are way up there. Rin needs a stool.' Rin looked around the room and saw a chair, she walked to the chair and dragged it to the shelf. She stood on the chair and reached for the jar, she gently slid it off the shelf. She held it tightly in her hands, she turned the jar's lid slightly to the right and twisted it that way till it came off. She set the lid on a close self and counted six gems and set it in her pocket with the key. She slipped the lid back on and placed it back on the shelf. She then jumped off the chair and put it back in the same place she got it. She then walked out of that certain isle of shelves and started looking for an eagle's feather. So she kept looking at the signs above the shelves until she found one that said 'Bird Feathers'. She walked into the isle and started looking. 'A... B... Cardinal... Duck... Ah! Here it is!... Eagle. She then stood on her tiptoes, grabbed the jar, opened the lid, and took out an eagle feather. She put the feather in her pocket, closed the lid, and slid the jar back in place. She then quietly walked to the door, went into the hall, closed the door, and then locked it. She then tiptoed towards her bedroom, went in, and locked the door behind her. She then went right to her bed and pulled out the book, and started reading:

Directions:

Take a piece of cardboard and then with red paint draw a big six point star in the center of the page,

and then with blue paint draw hexagon connecting the edges. Then put the inanimate object that

you want to come to life in the center, and put an eagle's feather on the object. Next get 6 tiger's

eye quartz and put them on each of the connecting points.

She got a piece of cardboard from her closet and got some red and blue ink from her writing desk. She then brought the items to her bed, brought the doll out of her package, and followed the directions. After she was done she started to read the rhyme to activate the spell:

"For I, who's alone and scared, I ask of thee,

Bring this inanimate object to life for me.

I will befriend it as to keep,

So I won't utter a single peep.

If I do then I shall say,

You may take her life away.

If I don't then I will be forever alone,

For then this book will forever be turned to stone."

At that moment the doll began to glow pale pink in color. Then a bright light came from the doll that made Rin have to close her eyes. Once the bright light dulled out, she opened her eyes and saw a beautiful woman in place of the doll, and was wearing the clothes that the doll had on but only bigger in size.
