Kagome sauntered down the bustling city streets towards her home at the Higurashi shrine. Her long and arduous journey felt only worse from her fatigue and heavy backpack of make-up work.

‘*Groan* I don’t know if I want to go. I want to be able to have some fun, but I don’t want to deal with Inuyasha. Plus, I am completely beat.’

She continued walking only mildly aware of her surroundings.

*Meanwhile back in Sengoku Jidai*

“Well, I’ll be leaving now.” Inuyasha said to his other hut-goers as he rose and walked to the hut door.

Mumbled goodbyes reached the hanyou’s ears as he took off towards the bone-eaters well.

He picked up a fast pace and jumped straight into the well without hesitation upon arrival.

A time warp encased him. A psychedelic weightlessness and blue spirals swam around him. ‘It feels weird here, wherever here is.’ The hanyou seemed very captivated by the rift between times.

Moments later he found himself magically at the bottom of the well again. Only this time he was at the bottom of the well in present time.

He jumped out and automatically started out of the well house. He had been here many times before, and stopped when he remembered about avoiding shrine-goers.

‘Kagome would be angry with me if I was seen.’ As if to remind himself he gazed at his claws and wiggled his ears. He cautiously peered out through a crack in the door.

‘Well the coast seems clear.’ To verify this, he took a quick smell through the crack. Upon confirming nobody was around, he made his way out of the well house, and towards the main house. Instead of using the front door, he felt more comfortable sneaking in through Kagome’s bedroom window.

He entered, but was disappointed to find no Kagome there. A person was heard walking in the hallway, so he went to investigate. He opened the bedroom door to see Higurashi-san jump, squeak, and drop a laundry basket on the floor.

“Inuyasha, darling, you scared me half to death. When did you get here?” Higurashi-san questioned, catching her breath and picking up the dropped clothes.

“Gomen Higurashi-san.” Inuyasha scratched the back of his head. “I just got here. When will Kagome be home?”

“She should be back any minute now. Would you like something to eat?”

“No. I just need to use the bathroom.”

Higurashi-san smiled, nodded, and headed downstairs to do the laundry. Inuyasha just continued down the hall and into the bathroom.

“Mama, I’m home.” Kagome lazily yelled while kicking off her shoes. She heard her mother’s reply from the laundry room, so she just decided to head upstairs to her bedroom.

She was so tired; she never noticed Inuyasha’s youki radiating from her bathroom. She continued into her bedroom and yanked off her shirt. ‘Uh, now to get into something relaxing and comfortable.’

She pulled off her skirt and stuck it in her dirty clothes pile. She opened her closet and removed a cozy pair of gray sweatpants and a pink tank top. She placed the clothes on her desk, and couldn’t help but to admire herself in her full-body mirror.

‘I’ve got a nice body.’ She let her hands gently glide over her curves as she drank herself in. ‘Maybe not a supermodel, but I like myself. Slaying youkai is the perfect fitness regiment.’ She cupped her breasts and gave them a light squeeze. ‘*Giggle* I love my boobs, they are a nice handful, not overly big, eeewwww, and nice and perky.’ She placed her hands on her hips and smirked at her reflection. ‘Inuyasha doesn’t know what he’s missing.’

“Kagome, you ready to go ba-” Inuyasha stopped abruptly upon entering Kagome’s room to find her in only panties and a bra.

Kagome swiftly turned ant attempted to cover herself with her arms. “Inuyasha! What are you doing!? Osuwari!”

The hanyou slammed face-first into the floor faster than he could try to reply. “Don’t you ever knock? What if I was undressed in here?” She really hadn’t expected an answer; she only asked that out of the heat of the moment.

Inuyasha didn’t try to fight the spell still weighing him down, or try to say anything back. ‘Well that would have actually been a better sight. No! Stop thinking about that before we have a problem on our hands.’

“Keep your eyes closed until I tell you it’s ok.” Kagome scolded Inuyasha. He mumbled his ok.

Kagome quickly slid on the sweatpants and tank top, and allowed Inuyasha to get up.

“Why are you wearing those clothes, you told me before that those types of clothes are for bedtime.” He questioned.

“Inuyasha, please don’t start. I really need a nap.” Inuyasha was about to protest until he saw her exhaustion, and her pleading eyes. ‘Damn, it would be dangerous to take her back now, she is to weak right now.’

“Fine, but rest quick, I want to get back on the hunt.”

‘I should try it now, while he seems to be weakened up.’ “Inuyasha, would it be ok if I didn’t go back today at all.” She already noticed him about to explode. “Please, my friends want me to go to a party with them. I really never get to spend time with them. I’ve been friends with them a long time, and I don’t want to loose them.”

She was hoping that she sounded good enough for him to feel bad if he said no. “Kagome we really don’t have time for that.” He tried to reason with her. She threw him a sad pleading look, and it hit him hard. “ I’ll think about it, Take a nap, and I’ll let you know after you wake.”

She thanked him and wasted no time in jumping in her bed. Inuyasha sat beside her on the floor, and was soon met with the sounds of her light breathing. ‘She fell asleep fast, she really was exhausted.’

The hanyou contemplated her proposition, and drifted into a light sleep, too. The both spent the next hour on their power nap.

Kagome awoke at about 5pm feeling renewed. She saw Inuyasha turn to face her as soon as she sat up.

“Ok, but you can only stay for a little bit. I still want to return tonight so we can prepare to leave tomorrow morning.”

Kagome squealed. “Thank-you. I promise to be back early, and I'll even get you a special treat.” Kagome launched herself forward and gave the hanyou a quick hug.

“Ok, go downstairs or something so I can get changed.” She light nudged the hanyou from her room.

‘Now she’s probably going to take forever to get ready, and she’ll want to stay later then. At least I’ll get a treat. It better be a nice amount of chocolate or ramen.’ Inuyasha went downstairs and watched TV with Sota.

‘Oh, I have to find something nice to wear. Maybe something a little sexy, I mean, I’m feeling kinda sexy and spunky right now.’ She rummaged through her closet and assorted together a nice sexy, yet conservative outfit.

She dressed in a fairly tight black leather skirt, a snug dark red t-shirt, and a pair of black high-heeled sandals. Once she dressed she sat at her desk and applied a light coat of make-up to spruce up her face.

‘Perfectly done, and in perfect time. I better get going so I can talk with the girls before a lot of people arrive.’ She left her room, and headed downstairs. She came into the living room to find Inuyasha and Sota watching anime. Her mother wasn’t in view, but she was probably busy cleaning or cooking.

“OK, I’ll see you later Inuyasha. I promise to be back by 9 or 10pm, and I’ll get you a special gift to make up for the lost shard-hunting time.” She tried to leave, but Inuyasha stopped her before she could reach the door.

“You’re wearing that, you might get cold.” Inuyasha was trying to make an excuse for her to stay without making him look bad. ‘MMM. She looks very nice in that outfit. I really don’t think she should go if she’s wearing that.’

Kagome caught the admiring look in his eyes. ‘He’s checking me out *giggle* He looks like he’s getting jealous.’

“Inuyasha it’s May, It’s not at all cold outside. Now I need to go, or I’ll be late.” She noticed his eyes change, and knew he was about to tell her she couldn’t go. She quickly turned and brisk walked away, trying to not give him the chance to withdrawal his approval.

“Wait Kagome” Inuyasha called to her, but she ignored him and walked out of the door. ‘That bitch, she didn’t stop. Oh She will hear it when she gets back.’

Kagome felt grateful that Inuyasha didn’t follow her out. She just smiled, and continued on her way. ‘I really do need to get to socialize with some people from my time. I think I’ll have a lot of fun at this party.’
