Kagome was checking to make sure she had everything, before returning to surprise everyone in the FE.

Looking over the stuff as she added it to her huge yellow bag she listed it off.

“Let’s see. Candy and pocky. Check! Costumes…don’t have to really worry about thiers and I’m in mine, so check!” Grining she thought to herself, “I can’t wait to see what everyone thinks about my costume!” excitement danced in her eyes as she added in a whisper, “Especially Bankotsu.”

Giggling to herself she finished her list. “Meal. Check!” as she packed the food she’d spent hours slaving over. “Medical supplies. Check! Blanket and sake. Check!” as she added two bottles of the best sake ever made. “Okay, I’m good to go.” Nodding in satisfaction she shouldered her pack careful not to damage her costume in the process.

“Bye mom! Bye Souta! By gramps!” she called as she ran out the door and entered the shrine. Taking a deep breath she said, “Here goes.” As she jumped into the well.

As she was immediately engulfed by the familiar warmth and light she’d long ago grown to connect with traveling through times she grinned. “I can’t wait to see their faces.” She thought giddy with excitement.

Upon touching the ground and looking up she grinned, “No roof, that means I made it!” she began the task of climbing out of the well and pushing her pack over the rim before climbing over to land softly on the grass herself.

A lone figure walked over. “Kagome is that you?!” shrieked Jakotsu recognizing the yellow bag. Kagome grinned, “Yup. Here Jakotsu help me with this will you?” as she tried to lift her pack again.

Jakotsu squealed, “Lemme touch them please?!” his grey eyes begging like a kid in a candy store. Kagome giggled, “Okay, but afterwards, you have to help me carry this back to Kaede’s, deal?”

Jakotsu squealed nodding profusely. Kagome laughed and let Jakotsu stroke her ears of her costume. Jakotsu gasped, “They feel so real.” Almost jealous. Kagome laughed, “I got an extra pair just for you Jakotsu.”

Jakotsu eyes lit up. “Really?!” he asked unable to believe she’d get him something. Kagome smiled. “Of course silly, but you can’t have them until we get to Keade’s.”

Jakotsu grabbing the bag said, “Well what are you waiting for?! Let’s go!” as he headed towars the hut. Chuckling amused Kagome followed him.

Once they reached the hut she called out, “I’m back!”

Sango stepped outside and looked shocked then grinned. “Kagome, you look so cute!” Kagome grinned, “Thanks Sango.”

Miroku’s eyes about popped out of his head. “Lady Kagome?! You look incredible.” He said giving her a lecherous grin. Kagome shook her head. “Should have known.” She thought.

Inuyasha came out. “Kagome?! What the hell did you do?!” as he took in her costume.

Kagome scowled, “Behave Inuyasha, it’s just a costume.” Inuyasha grunted, “Still looks weird.

Bankotsu walked up, “Hey where’s…?” his jaw dropped as his azure gaze roaved over Kagome taking in every detail from the fuzzy ears on top of her head, to the long black tail extended behind her. “Damn that’s hot!” he thought.

Kagome saw his shock turn to a heated gaze and grinned. “I take it you like the spandex Bankotsu?”

Bankotsu walked over to her and smirked, “If that’s what is called, hell yes I like!”

Reaching out his hands he ran them from her shoulders down to her hips and curled them possesively around her curvacious backside.

Nibbling her neck he growled huskily, “I like very much!” Kagome grinned. Feeling his strong hands squeeze her butt she yelped.

Bankotsu chuckled as Kagome sent him a stern look. “Hey! No touching until AFTER the party.” She scolded him. Bankotsu grabbing her butt and squeezing it again said, “No promises this time. You’ve outdone yourself this year love.” Before capturing her lips in a heated kiss.

Kagome moaned and kissed him back circling her arms around his neck. After a minute they pulled away gasping for her. Kagome whispered to her husband, “After the party, I’m all yours.”

Bankotsu groaned, “Better be mine!” he growled possessively before stepping back.

Inuyasha barked, “So are we gonna eat or what?”

Jakotsu whined reming, “Kagome…you said when we got here, I’d get my ears.”

Kagome chuckled. “Don’t worrry Jakotsu, I haven’t forgotten. Walking over to her bag she pulled out a red velvet box. “Here Jakotsu.” Handing it to him.

Jakotsu took the box thanking her and squeled when he found a pair of hears identical to hers in it. Pulling her into an excited hug he said, “Thanks Kagome!”

She smiled, “You’re welcome Jakotsu.” Jakotsu put the on his head and sighed blissfully, “Now I have my own cute furry ears.” His face was now content as he sat down rubbing his own ears.

Bankotsu laughed a deep barrel chested laugh and grinning at his wife said, “You sure know how to keep him happy.”

Kagome grinned nodding at her husband. “Where are the kids?” she asked.

Bankotsu grinned pointing and answered, “Coming at you fast.”

Shippo jumped up into her arms. “Mama did you bring the lolipops?” eyes big and wide.

Kagome answered, “Yes.” All the kids started cheering.

Kagome Added firmly, “But you can’t have them until after dinner.”

Shippo whined, “But mom…”

Four year old Amaya pouted, “No fair!”

Five year old Shin said, “Come on mom.”

Sango’s four year old twins Kohaku and Michiru whined, “That’s not fair aunt Kagome!

Tara and Jakotsu’s children Anya three and Mouko two stomped, “But aunt Kagome.””

Bankotsu ordered his children sternly, “You heard your mother.”

His children pouted, “Yes sir.”

Bankotsu faced his neices and nephews, “You heard your aunt.”

They all pouted, “Yes sir.”

Bankotsu nodded in satifaction.

Kikyo who’d been putting her and Inuyasha’s one year old pup to sleep, walked up and greeted, “I see we’re all here now.” Smiling.

Inuyasha glared at Kagome and growled, “Food now!”

Bankotsu scolded, “Be patient mutt.” Inuyasha huffed.

Kagome laughed. “Bankotsu why don’t you help me set up the food so we can eat?”

Bankotsu grinned, “You betcha babe.” His mouth was already watering thinking about his wife’s delicious food.

Bankotsu and Kagome set out the blanket and everyone sat down. After Bankotsu set her yellow bag beside her he moved to sit behind her.

Kagome smiling began passing out the boxed meals. Bankotsu’s eyes lit up as did Inuyasha’s. “Steak!” they said happily.

Kagome laughed. “Yup steak, rice, veggies, egg rolls and fresh bread.”

Grinning Kagome pulled out Shippo’s tea handing it to him. He smiled, “Thanks mama.”

She smiled. “You’re welcome children.” Grinning at her husband she smiled, “And for the adults.” She pulled out the sake and Bankotsu smirked, “You really know how to surprise me love.”

Bankotsu took the sake and began pouring it for everyone.

Everyone thanked Kagome for the food and began to eat.

After everyone had enjoyed their food and sake except the kids who had tea instead, Kagome passed out a plastic covered plate to everyone adding, “Mama baked these fresh for everyone.”

The kids eyes lit up. “COOKIES!” they cried out and began eating the pumpkin cookies.

The adults laughed. It has been almost seven years since that final battle with Naraku, and Ryori. In those seven years Bankotsu and the men hed built beautiful log cabins for each of the couples and had started families with their wives.

Jakotsu and Tara had gotten married four years ago.

Bankotsu and Kagome got married right after Naraku was defeated.

Kikyo and Inuyasha mated shortly after the wish had been made.

Sango and Miroku had gone to look for Kohaku and gotten married shortly after the battle as well. Kohaku was honored to have a nephew named after him. They had spent the next few years rebuilding the demon slayer village.

Kagome and Bankotsu looked on as the kids were allowed to get into the candy. Bankotsu laughed as Amaya wrapped her sticky fingers around his waist, “hey, now I’m all sticky.” He laughed. Amaya agreed, “Papa sticky.” Everyone laughed.

Bankotsu scooped his daughter up and said, “And now we need to clean up.” Amamya giggled as he tweaked her nose grinning.

Kagome laughed as she watched her husband and daughter splashing in the water bowl.

Kikyo announced, “And now I think it’s time all the little ones get ready for bed.

All the kids groaned and the parents were busyy putting their children to bed.

After the kids had been cleaned up and tucked into bed the parents settled in by their fires and just cuddled glad the day was over.

Bankotsu smirked, “Now that the party’s over you’re mine, right?”

Kagome grinned. “Yup so why don’t you come see what’s on UNDER this suit.” She purred seductively.

Bankotsu smirked thinking, “What did you do wife?”

Kagome thought back, “You have to discover it for yourself.”

Bankotsu smirked, “Now that’s something I’ve waited all day for.”

Kagome grinned and he slid the latex suit down and turning her over he gasped as his fingers brushed lightly over her one and only tattoo.

Bankotsu and Kagome. Read the entwined wedding bands tattooed right on her left shoulder wrapped around his beloved halberd Banryu.

Bankotsu smirked “Looks great Kags.” She asked, “You really like it?”

He assured, “Yes, I do.” Before kissing her tattoo and turning her over to claim her mouth in a heated kiss.
