Chapter O n e

 

Unspoken Feelings.

InuYasha woke to the sounds of Kagomes small giggles that she often made in her sleep. And as InuYasha begun to speak silently to himself he thought out loud as he would often do when the rest of the group was slumbering. “It had been surprisingly a few years now since Kagome and I had first met. As fate would have it, she stayed by me. Throughout everything. I couldn't trust until she entered my life. I couldn't know friendship or caring until she came along. Hell, she's helped me mature . . . just a little bit though, but none less. Now that I truly think about it, I don't know what I would have become if she hadn't come along. I probably would still be trapped by the damned arrow this very moment if it weren't for her. . She saved my life. God damn. . She's given my life meaning. . But why don't I have the guts to tell her? After all Ive been though. .?” He sit upon a low tree branch above where the small bonfire there was, no doubt late into the night where normal people would be still sleeping. The full moon shone overhead, bringing light through the darkness. Golden amber visions kept focus on the Luna. The passing gentle breeze slowly picking up his silver tresses. Thoughts of truth overflowing within his skull.

 

Kagomes Hazel tinted pools remained shut over her sleeping Beauty. as the Sleeping bag she had wrapped around herself kept her warm and safe and now had somehow gotten tossed down to the bottom of her feet but no matter how much the bag had fallen from her So called Invisible wall of Protection from the cold. Kagome always felt safe when InuYasha was around and she never really had to worry. After all she is a Miko and at certain times could take care of herself…

 

Suddenly the sound of an owl made Kagome stir from her dream like state. The shades were pulled back now and she found herself staring into the Fire. It was so warm and with the constant crackle of its embers and the soft swishing of a slow passing Breeze had helped her relax. Across the fire she could see Kirara & Shippo Sleeping together for warmth and Sango and Miroku lying together. Somehow over the short hours of the late night Miroku had scooted a little close to Sango probly trying to get a nice feel Up Sangos Kimono before Sango Rose to beat him over his Skull with her Hiriokotsu. Kagome had often wondered if there was such a thing called Sleep groping. She slightly giggled to herself on the matter. Suddenly she spotted InuYasha. But why wasn't he asleep too?

 

InuYasha's skull stayed tilted towards the Heavens above, his vocals keeping within a dead silence. The only movement made by him was the fluttering of his harks every so often if an insect would decide to literally bug him. A silent sigh escaped his lungs as he then folded his arms within the sleeves of his kimono, keeping warm for the most part. Golden amber visions disappeared beneath his shutters for a moment or two before his gaze wandered down to his companions, a brow rose on how Miroku was positioned as he shook his skull. Then his gaze shifted to. . Her. From his position, her sleeping bag covered her facade, assuming she was asleep. He concentrated on her before a small crease in his facade released a content smile. Harks lowered slightly as he yawned quietly, his skull now tilted down, his eyelids beginning to drop…

 

Kagome could feel his stare on her.”What is he thinking?” she silently wondered and suddenly begun to feel hot her face flushed and she instantly knew she was blushing. But luckily for her Inuyasha seemed not to notice as Kagome's face lit up with a small smile. 'He's staring at me. He's even smiling too!' Kagomes thoughts wandered as they always had done she has always loved InuYasha's smile although he barely used it it caused Fire flies too flutter in her stomach.she felt happy to even be apart of his group. To be with him everyday was a blessing to her and she hoped it would never end.

 

After a few silent moments, InuYasha revealed his bright golden amber visions only to glance yet again at her then he quietly leaped down from his perch up in one of the high Timbers, only to sit at the base of a tree unusually close to her. Snow white harks flickered once or twice before lowering within contentment. 'Knowing' she was asleep, he quietly & very gently stroked a lock of her raven hued tresses. Her scent was intoxicating & sweet, nothing like he had ever smelt before. Then after a few moments, he returned to the base of the tree to try & get some decent rest before the sun came up and just in time too. After the hanyou had supposedly gone back to resting Kagome suddenly felt his palm on her ebony Locks she stayed still. But as he moved to go back to his spot Kagome's Digits curled around his Palm quickly as she spoke silently enough not to wake the others. `Please don't go.Inu.Yasha.' her hazels now revealed themselves to him...she was doing the unthinkable Kagome would never think of Grabbing his hand. But she did and she was happy she had.

 

Now InuYasha's Harks perked instantly as a flush of redness was felt upon his cheeks. "Kagome. I um. . Thought you were asleep" Lyri was quiet but sweet sounding, as golden amber visions focused on hers. His digits curled slowly around hers in return, he glanced up only to make sure everyone else was peacefully slumbering before his attention returned to her. Kagomes Mouth felt dry and she wanted to let him go. But something deep down told her not too. To \never\ let go. ”Don't go. Stay here with me.” Kagome managed to choke out as her own limbs slowly pulled her bodice from the sleeping bag as she now sat directly in front of the Hanyou. A sweet smile was once more gracing her Rosen's. Her skull turned quickly from his gaze as she smiled slightly. ”Kagome. . You know I'm always here with you. . Is anything wrong?” InuYasha questioned softly, harks still perked for any kind of sound, especially coming from Shippo. His gaze returned to hers, now giving her his full attention he let a soft sigh exit his parted labrums tinted with a pinkish coloration as Kagomes skull shook. She turned back to her sleeping bag and Crawled into it again. “Nothings wrong InuYasha.” she muttered then buried her skull back into the Sleeping bag and nestled down. Luckily she had done so just in time to see The Monk stirring Miroku's voids were closed but he yawned and begun to sit up. And as soon as InuYasha's voids caught Miroku's movements, he leaned back against the base of the tree & shut his eyes, attempting to hide a rather content smirk like grin as Harks lowered and a soft sigh escaped through his parted Lips in contentment.

 

Kagome now felt so warm inside she had actually held hands with him. 'I was actually holding his hands!' she thought excitedly.”Untill Miroku messed it all up” Kagome thought as a slow frown crossed her features now she drifted slowly back into sleep. The shades were drawn and Slumber soon begun it wasn't long before Dreams of InuYasha made her moan. Moans of not only pleasure but a soft lustful feeling. a longing feeling was lifted into her intoxicating scent as inuYasha couldn't help but be drawn to her his Voids opened just slightly as a new scent mixed within Hers and made him stir slightly. Harks twitched as her moans echoed through his eardrums, he moved a bit closer to her when he saw that Miroku had fallen into a slumber yet again, pulling her scent into his nose, an odd feeling boiled within him as he watched her as she slowly moved one of her limbs so it was situated over her skull then the other fell just between her Breasts as another slow moan erupted from lips parted so erotically an onlooker could tell it was a Passionate dream. Lower limbs folded apart as if she were welcoming someone in her dream. Her scent grew stronger as she begun to move her other limb over her Skull now in the submission Position her motionless bodice made no more movements and sleep had taken her but her scent Prevailed

 

As InuYashas' skull tilted he finally figured out what exactly her dream consisted of. Mixed feelings tried to organize themselves. Of course he wondered who she was joining with in her dream and that would have made his hackles rise if he had had any. `What if it was Koga for some reason?!?' he pondered hard and at that moment he grew extremely jealous but then quickly settled. After a few moments of studying her & making sure she was asleep this time, he slowly leaned his facade down towards hers & placed a very gentle kiss upon her cheek before leaning back against the tree base. Another slow groan was let forth as Kagome's Bodice turned to face the Hanyou once more. Her Hazel tinted voids remained closed as she slumbered. . .

 

Morning had approached fast and Kagome was already up at sunrise she already had her bedding packed and was already in a towel ready to go down to the Hot springs her and Sango that is. “Miroku. Don't you even think about following us you pervert” Sango chirped in as a glare mixed into her morning expression she knew how that Monk was and of course Miroku had his usual plans to follow but kept them Secretive. “Of course my dear Sango. I would never spy on you. I'll keep an eye on InuYasha so he won't peek ether.” Miroku gave a glance at the Slumbering Hanyou and slightly smiled. He knew what was coming next. Songo's façade twisted into a stare that Kagome thought was Sango's `Yeah right.” stare. But she just nodded to the Young Demon Slayer.

 

Now ready to go to the springs. Her pools glanced at InuYasha as she left and she wondered if he remembered last night. 'What was I thinking!?' she scowled at herself silently as her and Sango now turned to go to the springs. Miroku on the other hand just flashed InuYasha his I'll be back later smile then spoke "the girls will need protection. I should go along with them" he obviously was speaking to himself so after speaking he followed the girls at a safe distance so Sango wouldn't see to catch on. . . .

 

InuYasha was still slumbering and at some point in the night, he had ended up curled up like a puppy, still lying beneath the tree, soft snores escaped him as he slumbered deeply. He had spent most of the night up to collect his thoughts & look out for any threat to his companions. His harks flickered once every few moments but other then that, he was dead asleep.

 

Kagome knew InuYasha wouldn't follow. Heh she knew he was asleep but what about Miroku? There was no one awake to Watch the girls and protect them from a peering Womanizing perverted monk such as Miroku and that sent Shivers up and down Kagome's Spine.

 

Then altogether she was snapped back to reality when Sango piped up and begun to speak “so what did you want to discuss with me Kagome?” She had a worried expression on her facade. Her Brown pools stared at the girl before looking around to see if any prying eyes were trying to capture a nude shot of her and her Adopted Sister. When the coast was clear she slipped her Traveling Kimono off now standing completely naked she emerged into the Hot springs With Kagome on her tail. Kagome sighed she knew it was her fault InuYasha was acting the way he had last night and she needed to speak with Sango alone. Even though her body wasn't dirty she washed like she was Filthy. As Kagome scrubbed she spoke. “Sango last night I Caught InuYasha looking at me. I wanted him to stay with me. Is that wrong?” kagome was a little confused. Sango chuckled and shook her head. “You like InuYasha huh?” she gave a slight Devilish look at Kagome then begun speaking again. "Kagome! Hentai! Miroku told me something he had seen last night.” she then quickly dipped her head under the water. Kagome pulled her knees to her chasse and placed her head on them. "Yeah.I adore him. But I could never tell him that. Oh Kami! Sango what do I do?" she had never felt like this. She needed Answers.

 

Suddenly Sango was jerked from her Relaxation Session by a Perverted spying Monk. Sango's face quickly picked up a scowl as she picked up a rock from the springs and hurtled it towards the Monk hitting him square between the eyes sending the Lecher off and hopefully back to camp. Sango then turned back to her Friend well more like Adopted sister a frown presented on her Façade. “Oh Kagome he's so perverted. It would be nice if he gave us some personal space now and again” Sango's smile slowly disappeared as brown orbs then fixed in on the Steaming Aqua.

 

Kagome had no clue what to say to Sango. Her bodice slid down more as memories of last nights encounter begun to fill her skull when suddenly a small scream made Kagome nearly jump out of her skin with a shocked & surprised Expression. Hazels looked straight at the young Demon slayer as Sango sat there with a Fearful expression on her Façade. Apparently Sango had spotted something moving in the bush and thinking it was that monk once again her fists balled up and Sango removed her naked form from the Small spring “You better hope I don't catch you Monk!” Sangos lyri became clear and loud as she scowled and sat back down. Leaving Kagome to wonder why Miroku was in a spot where he could be seen…unless. Unless it wasn't Miroku. Kagome didn't see anything and decided to just shrug the matter off.

 

 

Back at Camp. Miroku had arrived just in time to catch as InuYasha begun to Stir. A yawn escaped him, his fangs completely visible as he stretched out, just now waking up to see Miroku rubbing his face as he came toward him. A deep sigh escaped him as he sat up & folded his arms within the large sleeves of his Kimono. The girls were gone so he figured they were bathing again & Miroku had no scence of privacy so he got hit in the head with something. Typical. “Now you knew you would fail at spying on them. So why do it?”Miroku smiled with that typical Grin. ”Oh Inuyasha. When will you come to your senses and See that Kagome needs some \Special\ Attention now and again. She is a Woman after all.” Miroku gave a wink at InuYasha His facade clearly spelled P e r v e r t. “Oi. Hentai” Cursed InuYasha. As another deep sigh escaped him he heard the girl's voices & woke himself up a bit more, his facade turned a deep red before he stood, this time he was going to finally do it before it was too late.

 

 

"He's always spying on us Kagome so much infact I've often wondered what it would be like without him.” Sango looked up at the pale blue morning sky she slightly smiled a dreamy look crossing her facial features. Kags didn't know what to think. A massive sigh was caught as she let it go thoughts begun to revert back to the other night. 'Was he really Acting with true feelings...or was he putting on an act to play around with my feelings?' her head begun to throb so she quickly placed it under the Hot water. After emerging she stared for a long time at the Jewel Shards she had just picked up from the bank were she usually set them before having a nice sometimes relaxing Bath. She wondered why Naraku wanted them so badly….

 

Soon after about 20 minutes Kagome and Sango begun to get pruny so they decided to get out and go visit the boys. When they had gotten dressed and begun to move up the trail the boys were sighted and almost immediately Sango shot a glare at Miroku her eyes looked like they were ablaze. This scared Miroku. He hated that look it made him feel so small.

 

 

As Shippo jumped onto inuYasha's shoulder he watched the others. He too had just woken. And already the group was in there usual up roar. “Why do I have to be the one to set everything right all the time?' Shippo thought to himself silently while he kept a watch on Sango and Miroku.

 

Kagome's orbs shot a small stare at InuYasha as she found it hard to look away a blush formed on her Cheeks she felt the sting of Embarrassment and broke her \stare\.

 

Now that the girls returned InuYasha felt it was the right time to go and speak to Kagome. Pillars carried his muscular bodice towards her as he stopped in front of her and spoke gently. “Hey Kagome. Can I talk to you for a sec?” An almost pleading look was held upon his facade, harks alert. Just as a puzzled expression crossed Kagomes façade and InuYasha asked to speak with her. Her Skull nodded in aprovement as she turned to stride away from the others. "I'll return in a moment Sango" Kagome explained as Sango Nodded back to her adopted sister.

 

Just before the two \lovers\ had disappeared Sango turned to Miroku and asked.” what did you tell InuYasha? he looked saddened” The Monk just stood there as a smile plastered it's self on his features and he crossed his arms “I think InuYasha is finally realizing that He loves Kagome as much as she loves him.” he grinned proudly. “Is that so?” Sango asked as she peered over to where Kagome and InuYasha where speaking.

 

 

"What did you want to say to me InuYasha?" Kagomes eyes filled with brightness as she asked her question her bodice remained turned from him with her arms at her sides.

 

Shortly After a few moments of silence, he turned to face her, his facade a bright rosy red & his harks were slightly dropped. “Kagome. . We've journeyed for years together now. . . I didn't ever think there was anyone in the world that could make me feel the way I do. . Not even Kikyo. I don't know what it is but. .. You actually make me feel happy; your scent is so soothing. You've been there for me. . Whatever my problem was or if I was wounded, you would always want to help me out. . . . I don't know what I would do if you weren't in my life right now. .. “His tones were almost cracked but had a soft tone to them, he paused for a few moments. “Kagome . . . . I want to spend the rest of my days with you. . I Love you, Kagome”. As Kagome listened she had begun to smile. Her thoughts were soon interrupted by the group but not for long she had heard what He had to say and Kagome practically melted “he's spilling his guts to me right now. He does care” a simple thought crossed her Mind weaver. Then. It all came flooding out. All of her Emotions she had kept bottled inside for so long were now rushing out like a tidal wave over the sea. "Oh InuYasha.Your all I've ever wanted too. You make me feel like I can be someone. I've always loved you InuYasha" by now Kagome's cheeks were a bright crimson her eyes begun to water and her voice begun to crack she tossed her palms in front of her facade as tears of joy were shed and the thought of Kikyo taking him from her forever had disappeared. But for how long? Kagome sobbed gently. These were not tears of sadness but tears of pure joy.

 

As a huge weight was lifted off his shoulders he stepped forward & wrapped his upper limbs around her waist gently, an unusually huge smile was cast as he gently kisses the top of her raven tresses. Harks perked before dropping in a severe contentment. “. . I'm so glad, Kagome” he stepped forward & wrapped his upper limbs around her protectively. Harks perked before dropping in a severe contentment once again as he repeated meaningful words. “. . I'm so glad, Kagome”.

 

As Kagome's arms flew around his torso and she buried her tear stained facade into his Chasse she spoke between tears “I love you InuYasha.with all my heart” meaningful words where spoken as her limbs gripped him tight Kagome never wanted to let him go ..Not ever again…

 

 

As Sango looked over at Miroku who was busy chewing on a piece of poky that Kagome had brought back from her Time Sango suddenly asked. “Miroku! what do you think there talking about over there?!” by this point Sango was worried and couldn't help but be abit nosy she couldn't see the two \lovers\ anymore and was curious. Miroku just smiled and looked up at the worried and prying Sango with a smile on his facade.” My dearest Sango InuYasha is probly spilling his Sexual thoughts to her at this moment.' Sango crouched down like something jabbed her hard in the side her facial expression hardened and that glare Miroku feared was present once more. `Let's hope for your sake he's not. Miroku whatever you said to InuYasha had better been good advice and not something perverted.” Sango had ment what she said. And Miroku shook his head as he smiled nervously at her with a slight Chuckle. Finally Sango's brown orbs then situated on the Sleeping Shippo in her Lap and she begun to stroke his soft red fur…

 

 

Meanwhile InuYasha and Kagome had slipped off into the distance. Miroku had guessed they needed to be alone. InuYasha spoke with words meaningful as he held onto her. “I Love you too Kagome. With all my heart” He held her close to him, so he could feel her heart beating. A soft grin played upon his features as lyri play with a soft tone, with a slight chuckle “So. What exactly were you dreaming of last night? Hymn?” His palms gently caressed her raven tresses, careful of his sharp claws.

 

Kagome's Cheeks begun to grow hot she had just realized InuYasha had been there when the Dream Obviously Staring him had occurred then after a few moments Kagome realized she was blushing. “I.I was thinking of you…you and me…” Suddenly Kagome jerked from her speech to blush a bright Crimson and hide her façade from him. “Never mind InuYasha.it was nothing.” InuYasha gave her a puzzled look as one of his eyebrows raised. He shrugged it off. “C'mon, Sango & Miroku are probably wondering what's going on. & Shippo probably wants to begin his daily 'annoy the shit out of me' ritual.” He smiled lightly before his lips connected to hers lovingly, his harks dropping. Now Kagome's thoughts resided apoun the Conversation Miroku and Sango were carrying but it was soon lost as inuYasha's lips met hers. Her voids grew wide with surprise Kagome felt his warm soft lips pressed to hers and she just couldn't help but gasp with pleasure. They were just as she imagined. So warm. So soft. Kagome nearly fainted. She placed her palms behind his Skull on top of his silver tresses as she continued there kiss then broke free as her Digits curled around his in a soft manner as her smile begun to appear on her Face. “Let's go.” Kagome didn't think anymore of his Question. She simply had forgotten as that sweet first kiss was playing over and over in her mind and she suddenly felt an uneasy feeling. 'why am I so shaky right now?' she asked herself a small smile on her façade as she thought back to there \kiss\ it made her nervous. But that would soon fade. . .

 

InuYasha turned slightly, as he gently grasped her palm, intertwining his digits between hers. “Yeah. Lets go” Lyri play quite happily, golden amber visions now seemed brighter as his harks perked. He shift his skull to gaze upon her facade, his silver tresses spilling down his spine before being picked up by the gentle breeze now passing them. A content expression was held apoun his own features.

 

Kagomes eyes Shifted from the Hanyou as they moved back to Camp to join the others. She wanted to tell InuYasha that her Annoying Spoiled Sister Kikyo was coming to visit her soon. But what Kagome feared to tell the Hanyou was that Kikyo had a Massive crush on InuYasha.one that could possibly make Kagome weak with depression.everyone who knew Kikyo knew she would do ANYTHING to get what she wanted..'Shes such a brat' Thought Kagome as she moved quickly over the green Blades. Her voids stayed fixed apoun the small Creatures and Demons that scurried away from there passing.

 

Kagomes Eyes were now fixed apoun InuYasha. Her one beloved she had always loved him. And now a worried look riddled her Façade. She had always thought that Kikyo was the prettier sister in the twosome and everyone seemed to agree…
