Kagome had watched the argumetn betwee the strangers with an odd feeling brewing inside of her. The four women had seemed very familiar, and when the one had said the name 'Gaia', shivers went up her spine. Then a sudden feeling of falling overcame her and she passed out.

 

Inuyasha sensed Kagome was in distress and turned in time to see her collapse. He rushed over to her and picked her up into his arms, but he was very shocked at what he saw. Kagome's appearance had changed considerably. He hair was a bit longer, and much darker. Her skin seemed to have a bit of a tan to it and there was a trange mark on her forehead that he didn't recognize. He breathed in a bit of her scent and realized she smelled similar to the other women. He knew that Amaris had been right, she was Amaris' sister.

 

Kagome stood still in complete darkness as more images flashed by. She was seeing memories of another's life passing before her. Th last image that she saw made her start to cry.

 

Amaris was battling Radella as the others fought Kali's demons. Radella had been kidnapped by a pack of shape-shifters and his guardian had been slowly killed. The death of a guardian turned any elf to the darkness. Suddenly Radella struck at Amaris, driving his sword through her abdomen. Amaris winced as he withdrew his sword. She fell to her knees as she felt the blood leaving her body, but her powers had grown in the past few nights due to her breaking the horrid curse. She closed her eyes and willed her body to heal itself. Amaris rose up to face her brother again and the others rushed to her side. Damian stood behind them, unsure of what he was meant to do. Radella was oblivious to what was about to happen. Amaris rushed forward and drove her sword through her brother's heart. Their sisters came forward as Radella fell to the ground, each putting a hand upon the sword. Radella gasped for breath as tears poured from Amaris' weary eyes.

 

"Forgive me brother" Amrias whispered.

 

As his soul began to slip away the sisters joined their powers and purified his soul so that he wouldn't be damned for eternity.

 

"no, sister. It is I who needs forgiven." He spoke as his soul left his body.

 

Damian watched as Amaris and her sisters collapsed to the ground. He rushed forward and pulled Amaris intop his arms, trying to wake her up.

 

Kagome watched as the scene faded away. She knew who she really was. She was not Kikyo's re-incarnation, she was Gaia.
