[ P - Pre-Teen ]
A/N: I know my last fanfic was suckish, but this will make up for it.
Disclaimer: I do not own InuYasha and company. InuYasha doesn't swear in any of my fanfics so don't say I didn't for warn you.
It was raining. The dirt road was now a mud road. The group of travelers was not in a cheery mood.
“Ugh! I'm so bored right now, I wish Naraku would show himself just so we can have some thing to do,” complained a raven haired miko with chocolate brown eyes.
“Keh! Kagome, if Naraku was here you'd be wishin' that you were bored again,” scoffed a hanyou with silver hair and amber eyes with dog ears on top of his head.
“You know, Inuyasha, I don't appreciate your sarcasm right now, but you're probably right,” sighed Kagome.
“You guys!! Quit bickering, Inuyasha do you really want to get sat so you can become a brown hanyou?” complained a dark brown haired demon slayer with almond eyes sporting a giant boomerang. “You know I completely agree with Sango,” stated an indigo-eyed monk with black hair kept in a ponytail at the base of his neck, as he caressed the demon slayer's rear. Sango stiffened at his touch, and hit him in the head with hiarikotsu, the giant boomerang. “You know, monk, I think you might be kissing mud too, if you can't keep your hands to yourself,” said a very peeved Sango, hitting him again with her hiarikotsu. Two large bumps were clearly visible on the monk's head.
Inuyasha and Kagome laughed. “Miroku, there's a greater chance that you'll kiss mud than me,” joked the chuckling hanyou.
Kagome sighed; the boys could be so careless and rude. She walked up to the demon slayer and asked, “Why do we put up with them again?” “That, is a good question,” replied Sango. “I mean we could do so much more if it was just the two of us.”
“Hey,” complained Shippo. “Whoops! Sorry, Shippo. Make that three of us.” Kagome replied to the kitusne 's complaint. “Four,” corrected Sango. “Don't forget Kilala.” They shared a laugh. “I'm sorry Kilala,” the miko said between chuckles. “Mew,” was her only response. The four made their way forward.

Miroku walked up to the still chuckling hanyou. “How can she be so heartless,” ranted Miroku. “She agrees to bear my children, yet when my wandering hand wanders to far it's immediately responded with a slap or a hit from hiarikotsu.” “How the heck should I know, you're the womanizer, shouldn't you know a woman's mind works,” replied the bemused Inuyasha. Noticing the women moving the started forward too.
After about an hour the women, who were in the lead, called out, “Hey there's a village up ahead we should stop there until the rain stops.” “Feh, whatever,” replied Inuyasha. “Maybe I can be of some service,” replied Miroku.

As they reached the village, Miroku said to the headmen, “I sense a demonic aura around here and as a monk I'm obligated to lend my services when needed.” “Well the rain certainly washed away old habits,” Shippo stated quietly. The group minus Miroku nodded. The headmen cheered up. “Thank you monk. A demon has plagued our village recently and we cannot stop it. It hasn't attacked in this dreary weather, but we fear it will attack again when the rain has passed,” the headmen stated. “You and your companions may stay here until you slay the demon and the rain passes.” “Thank you. Your generosity is greatly appreciated,” Miroku replied calmly. “I can't believe it, there's an actual demon. This is a rare occurrence,” Sango said in a monotone voice. “You got that right,” Shippo agreed. Miroku, offended grabs Sango's hand, and asks, “Do you really think that low of me, my dear Sango?” Sango flustered pulls her hands out of Miroku's grasp, blushes and turns away.
Kagome saw the blush and smiled. She loved to watch the two; it was like a romance novel in real life. She sighed happily.

(A/N: I know it's kind of dull but actions right around the corner)
The next day the rain had passed and the group had set out to find the mysterious youkai. When they found it they knew it would be no cakewalk.
(A/N: Action)
The demon was massive it was to stories tall and butt ugly. It looked like a giant pig but it had tusks the size of saplings yet as thick as a full-grown tree. It had mold-green scales and yellow, beady eyes. Inuyasha drew his Tetsuiga. It grew to its more formidable and larger form. Everybody else drew his or her weapons. Kilala transformed into her larger self. “Die Pig-Breath” Inuyasha cried as he leapt into the air to attack the boar youkai. His intention was to cut off one of its tusks, but when it hit the tusk a ring reverberated making Inuyasha's ears flatten to his head. Before anyone could react the boar youkai caught Inuyasha's chest with the tip of its tusk and threw him away.
“INUYASHA!!” Kagome yelled. She tried to run to him but was stopped by Sango. “Please, I have to go see if Inuyasha is Okay,” Kagome said desperately. “He has had worse injuries and have been fine and it won't do him any good if you get hurt too,” Sango reasoned while trying to keep Kagome from running off. Their conversation was stopped when a demonic wind started to pick up.
They all look at Inuyasha and for the Tetsuiga. The Tetsuiga was embedded in the dirt in its rusty form. “Oh no!” Miroku cried. Inuyasha's eyes were blood red with blue irises and purple stripes under each eye and elongated claws and fangs. Inuyasha leapt up and slashed off one of the boar youkai's horns with his elongated claws. “He he he,” Inuyasha laughed evilly. The boar youkai reared and slammed his front legs into the ground, which made it shake. Then the youkai shot what looked like black smoke at the transformed hanyou. Inuyasha screamed and a ball of white light shot out of his body. He jumped up and grabbed the Tetsuiga, which transformed at his touch. “Wind Scar!” the hanyou yelled, and slashed the ground and where the sword touched the ground energized demonic wind shot out and turned the boar youkai into mincemeat.
The tetsuiga transformed back and he sheathed it. He turned to face the group and looked at them with RED eyes. “He has the tetsuiga why didn't he transform back,” a frantic Kagome yelled. Inuyasha chuckled evilly, sending shivers down everyone's spine.
“Inuyasha,” Kagome whispered, tears falling down her beautiful face. “What happened to you?”
