A/N: SO SORRY ABOUT THE LATE UPDATE!!!!!!! I have started and re-started this damn chapter over and over again trying to get it to work without giving away to much of the plot but I think that I will end up throwing that idea out the window. I have had writer's block for most of this chapter so I decided to draw some pictures that will be added after I post this chapter. I have finally drawn Kagome's Katana and it is a first draft, and Kagome in her armor standing in a river after bathing.

Chapter Fifteen

The Mountain of Darkness

Inuyasha watched as Kagome and Aiko jumped up onto Aun and flew off. He wanted to go with Kagome so badly and protect her. He didn't know why but something told him that Kagome was not safe and if he was not carefully she would be taken away from him. Inuyasha heard people starting to gather around them and finally turned his gaze away from Kagome's vanishing form to the people that were gathering around Sesshoumaru.

"Sesshoumaru-sama, Aiko-sama has told us that you will be leading us in battle against the Tsunio that are within the forest," stated a tall full kitsune youkai.

Sesshoumaru turned and faced the youkai completely and Inuyasha could feel the youki pouring off his brother. "And you are?"

The youkai bowed and stated simply, "Kisho"

"Kisho? Might you be the son of Kishono?" Inuyasha quirked an eyebrow. What the hell does it matter with this guy is the son of Kishono or not!

Kisho straightened out and nodded, "Hai. My father was your first shogun of the Kitsune Army that fought for you in the War of Darkness."

"Your father was a great warrior and was very loyal to me. I can expect the same kind of loyalty from you." Inuyasha couldn't believe how Sesshoumaru stated that as a fact and not a question. Inuyasha couldn't believe it either when Kisho actually bowed again and said yes.

"I will be telling my orders to you and you will tells the others and report back to me. I want all the mikos, houshis, and healers to stay behind the lines and not to enter unless I call them forth. I want all trained Kitsune to stay behind Inuyasha and myself who will be enforcing the kekkai with our youki. When I order it I want all Kitsune to use their kitsune-bi to push the Tsunio back." Sesshoumaru stated all of this and turned away from Kisho. Kisho bowed and ran off to the others and relayed the message.

Inuyasha crossed his arms and glared at Sesshoumaru. If that baka thinks I'm going to listen to him he's crazy. I can handle this on my own.

Sesshoumaru walked towards Inuyasha and stood at his side. "I know what you are thinking brother and I wouldn't be so light hearted about this battle. If the Tsunio break through the kekkai then we will all die and they will take Kagome away. Could you live with that?" Sesshoumaru started to walk towards the kekkai and the Tsunio.

Inuyasha stood dumbfounded for a few seconds before Sango finally got his attention by coughing loudly. "Sango… Are you alright?"

Inuyasha felt sorry for Sango. Her brother was the one that attacked and by the looks of things he was now apart of the Tsunio. Sango's eyes were puffy and red but she had a look of determination on her face. "Hai Inuyasha I'm fine. I just need to find a way to get Kohaku away from those Tsunio."

Miroku walked up and stood beside Sango. "Inuyasha these Tsunio feel a lot stronger then the last ones that we encountered in the woods. They somehow feel stronger." Inuyasha glanced over his shoulder and looked at the Tsunio that were now a wall of black against the kekkai.

"Yeah Miroku I can feel how much stronger they are too. But we need to buy Kagome enough time to unseal Yuki-chan and get back here. Miroku Sango I want you two to stay close to the other youkai. The Kitsune give off light and the Tsunio can't get near the light."

"Alright Inuyasha we will. But if anything goes wrong we will be at your side," stated Sango as she walked towards the Kitsune that were forming a line just outside the village.

"Take care Inuyasha," stated Miroku and walked off.

"Keh," was all Inuyasha said before he walked off to join Sesshoumaru. As Inuyasha walked closer to Sesshoumaru he could feel the evil youki even though there was a kekkai dividing them.

"Inuyasha you and I will be using our youki to re-enforce the kekkai. The mikos, houshis, and healers will be making it stable but only you and I can make the kekkai stronger." Inuyasha stopped on Sesshoumaru's left side.

"And why can't the Kitsune make it stronger?"

"Because this kekkai was formed but using my blood, Sorano's blood and Yuki-chan's youki. And since you share the same blood and Sorano is sealed we are the only ones that can make it stronger until Yuki-chan is unsealed."

"Keh! You just hold up your side and I'll watch mine."

Sesshoumaru turned and smirked at Inuyasha before walking off to the edge of the kekkai. Did he just smirk at me?! Did the great lord of the west just showed some emotion?! What the hell was that?! Inuyasha turned away from his thoughts and walked in the opposite direction as Sesshoumaru.

"Inuyasha now focus your youki. Once you feel it's presence you most force it into the kekkai." Sesshoumaru said.

"Like I didn't already now that!" Inuyasha closed his eyes and started to concentrate. He had never really used his youki before. The only time that he had ever used it was when he was in his full youkai form and then he couldn't control it. Inuyasha was just hoping that once he unleashed his youki that he would be able to control it.

Inuyasha was starting to feel a strange urge deep within him. He knew it was his youki but it was boiling and churning as if trying to be forced free. Inuyasha felt Tessaiga beside him pulsate once and his youki calmed. But it wasn't going to be enough. If I keep Tessaiga with me I won't be able to unleash my youki. But if I remove it them I will end up trying to kill everyone.

Inuyasha was now internally struggle with what he had to do. Suddenly Inuyasha felt a calm warm wind wrap itself around him. Inuyasha sighed and took a calming breath. That is when the scent hit him. It was Kagome's scent. The sweet, soft yet strong, scent of Kagome was washing over him. Inuyasha smiled as his youki was making him start to glow a soft red.

Inuyasha could feel his youki building and building around him and he finally opened his eyes. Inuyasha blinked a few times and saw that he was glowing a deep crimson red. Inuyasha raised his hand and watched as his youki flared off of it and vanished in the wind. Inuyasha glanced sideways and saw that Sesshoumaru was glowing a light blue colour. It was stronger then his own.

"Now Inuyasha focus your youki into the kekkai!"

Inuyasha looked forward and his jaw dropped. He could physical see the kekkai now. It was shimmering an iridescent opal. Not only that but the Tsunio were no longer a wall of black but Inuyasha could see them for what they were. Inuyasha was appalled by their appearance. They were decaying youkai. Their bodies were all black but that didn't stop the fact that he could see all the decomposing parts of their bodies.

Inuyasha watched as Sesshoumaru raised his hand and pointed it at the kekkai. Instantly his youki coiled around his outstretched arm and shot at the kekkai. Sesshoumaru's youki hit the kekkai and started to spread throughout the kekkai. Inuyasha cocked an eyebrow but followed suit. He raised his hand and pointed it at the kekkai. Concentrating his youki Inuyasha watched in amazement as his youki coiled around his arm and shot at the kekkai.

Inuyasha was beginning to feel weak as his youki and Sesshoumaru's youkai snaked their way through out the kekkai. Inuyasha tried to cover his ears from the sound the Tsunio were making. They had begun to scream, hiss and shriek at them. Inuyasha screwed his eyes up against the sound. If they don't shut the hell up soon I think I'm going to be sick. How the hell can Sesshoumaru stand that goddamn sound!

"Inuyasha pull back! We need to now focus on our youki that is within the kekkai!"

Inuyasha lowered his arm feeling very weak. He was still glowing slightly but the majority of his strength was now swirling and mixing itself with Sesshoumaru's within the kekkai. Inuyasha was starting to feel queasy from the sound of the Tsunio. They were banging and hitting the kekkai intensely now. It felt to Inuyasha that ever time they hit the kekkai they were hitting him.

Inuyasha glanced at Sesshoumaru and saw that they were hitting at him repeatedly. Sesshoumaru was growling and trying his best to hold them back. Why are they just attacking at Sesshoumaru? They should have attacked me instead. My blood is only half blood and his is full blood.

"Sesshoumaru hold them back!" growled Inuyasha.

"Inuyasha make sure that the left side is secure. We need to buy Kagome enough time to unseal Yuki-chan." Sesshoumaru yelled back.

"I know that already Sesshoumaru! You just do your job and I'll do mine." Inuyasha shivered slightly as if a ghost was beside him.

Inuyasha turned his head slightly to see if there was anyone around when he suddenly felt like something had punched right in the stomach. Inuyasha cringed and held his ground. He turned back to the kekkai and barely had time to register what was happening. The Tsunio were attacking Sesshoumaru so that Inuyasha would send his youki to him. Now they attacked Inuyasha and he didn't have time to stop the attack.

The Tsunio had managed to bust through the kekkai and were flying straight at Inuyasha. Inuyasha couldn't move even if he wanted to. The Tsunio rammed into his chest and shot him back. Inuyasha yelled out as he flew through the air. The Tsunio wrapped themselves securely around his chest.

"What the hell?!" The Tsunio were sucking the life out of him. He could feel them sucking in his youki.

Sesshoumaru ran to Inuyasha's side and tried to pry it off of him. The Tsunio was only burning Sesshoumaru's hand and he had to let go. Inuyasha yelled out in pain as the Tsunio continued to squeeze the very life from him.

"I WILL PROTECT YOU INUYASHA!!!"

"Kagome?!" Inuyasha gasped as a blinding fuchsia light exploded into the clearing. Inuyasha could feel the Tsunio melting away and he fell to the ground. A strong arm grabbed the collar of his haori and pulled him away.

The light engulfed everyone and everything within the kekkai. Inuyasha struggled against the person that was pulling him away. "Will you let me the fuck go!"

Inuyasha could feel the person let go and he turned around. "Sesshoumaru?!"

"Inuyasha do you feel that?" Inuyasha gave Sesshoumaru a quizzical look when Sesshoumaru closed his eyes and a calm look graced his face. I just want one thing to make sense! Just one fucking thing needs to make sense!

"Yuki-chan has been unsealed and Kagome has passed the test," Sesshoumaru stated as he opened his eyes and glanced in the direction that Kagome had vanished.

Kagome reached up and grabbed the hand that was held out before her. "You know who I am?" Kagome asked as she got to her feet.

"Of course I know who you are Kagome-chan. Hitomi-chan always told me stories about your coming." Yuki-chan sniffed the air and growled. "Unfortunately we don't have time for pleasantries. My kekkai is under attack and they will be breaking through in only a few minutes."

"Your kekkai? Breaking through?" then it dawned on Kagome as to what they were talking about. "The Tsunio have attacked Inuyasha. We have to hurry!" Kagome turned and was about to run towards the exit when she felt Yuki-chan grab a hold of her hand.

"First things first Kagome-chan. You need to unseal the gauntlet of Wind." Yuki-chan stated as she pulled Kagome away from the exit and towards the pillar that was in the middle of the platform.

"And how do I do that?" Kagome only thoughts were on Inuyasha. She needed to get to him and quickly. He was in danger and she needed to go and help him.

"You need to unseal the gauntlet that is sealed away within this pillar. These pillars all hold an item. Whether the item is of light or darkness it does matter. All you need to know is that the gauntlet of wind is within this pillar and Hitomi-chan said that you were the only one that could unseal it."

"Alright Yuki-chan I will try."

"Great!" Yuki-chan giggled and twirled around. Kagome cocked an eyebrow at the strange kitsune's behavior. A war is being fought outside these very walls and here she is getting excited about unsealing a gauntlet. "Alright Kagome-chan you need to transform into your armor and draw out your katana. Then you must place the katana into the slit in the pillar and the pillar will break apart and the gauntlet will appear."

"Hai," Kagome raised her hand and placed it over the necklace. Kagome felt her kimono vanish as the warm energy wrapped around her and her armor appeared. Kagome walked towards the pillar and held out her hand and a flash of light streaked from her outstretched hand. Kagome grasped onto the light and it changed into her katana.

Kagome heard Yuki-chan laugh again as she said, "Now put your katana into the slit."

Kagome nodded and positioned her katana over the slit. Suddenly the markings on the pillar started to glow and Kagome had to squint against the light. Her katana's markings had also started to glow and Kagome could feel something deep within her telling her to say something.

Kagome closed her eyes and slowly starting speaking in a language that she didn't even know she knew. "Rohai mata sebletha Kimoto!" When Kagome spoke the last word she thrust her katana, all the way to the hilt, into the pillar. When her katana's hilt touched the pillar energy was unleashed and shot Kagome back.

"Itai…" Kagome slowly got to her feet rubbing her backside. Kagome looked at Yuki-chan who looked like she was in some kind of trans as the pillar started pulsating with energy. The energy was coming off of the pillar in waves and the energy was flowing down the pillar and across the ground. Kagome walked to Yuki-chan and was about to grab her shoulder when a beautifully slow and elegant voice sounded in the cave.

"With this Gauntlet of Wind I hereby grant thee safe passage within the Earthly Realm. You shall be my keeper and my Guardian. I shall wear you upon my left hand and you will be bound to me."

Suddenly the whole cavern exploded with a white light. Kagome raised her hands and closed her eyes to try and block out the intense light. When the light washed over Kagome she felt warm and safe. She had felt this energy before and she had heard that voice before as well. Kagome could feel the light subsiding and she slowly lowered her hands.

Yuki-chan was kneeling on the ground holding something against her chest. A flash of light flew at Kagome and she stepped back. The light stopped and formed into her katana. Kagome let out a breath she didn't even know that she was holding and grasped onto the hilt. The katana melted into fuchsia light and emerged with the jewel on her chest plate.

"Yuki-chan are you alright?" Kagome asked as she walked over to Yuki-chan and knelt down beside her.

Kagome placed her hand on Yuki-chan shoulder and heard her sniff. Is she crying?! "Yuki-chan?..."

Yuki-chan slowly lifted her head, tears streaming down her face, and looked at Kagome. "Kagome-chan," Yuki-chan held out her hand and showed Kagome what it was the she was holding. It was so beautiful. It was made out of a material that Kagome had never seen before. It looked like it was made out of diamond but when the light hit it it would shimmer and shine like it was opal. But what drew Kagome's attention the most was the large tear shaped diamond jewel that was attached to the material.

"This is the Gauntlet of Wind. My domain," she sniffed again and slowly got to her feet, "I had almost forgotten those words."

Kagome stood up and stated, "What words? The ones that were spoken."

"Hai. That was Sorano-sama. She was talking about the Gauntlet of Wind. She was talking about me…" Yuki-chan wiped away the tears and held the gauntlet out to Kagome. "You must keep it with you until we find the others."

"Yuki-chan something this important should be kept with you. I can see that it was made for you and how much it means to you…"

Yuki-chan held up a hand and shook her hand. "It is not important to me like this. It is only important to me when Sorano-sama is wearing it. I miss her and I am sorry for my outburst it was uncalled for."

This little kitsune can pull a 180 in like five seconds. I don't understand her but I guess I never will. "All right Yuki-chan I will hold onto it until we find all the other items and unseal Sorano." Kagome took the gauntlet and raised it to her armor. She didn't know how to explain it but she knew that the gauntlet would merge with her armor and she was right. The moment the gauntlet touched her jewel it flashed and vanished.

Suddenly the cave started to shake as if there was an earthquake. Kagome screamed and jumped back as a large piece of the marble ceiling came crashing down. "What is going on!"

Yuki-chan jumped and landed beside Kagome. "My kekkai has been broken!"

"Sesshoumaru what the hell are you talking about?!" Just then the Tsunio hit the kekkai again and Inuyasha felt himself being thrown back. He hit the ground hard and slid a couple of feet before coming to stop at Miroku's feet.

"Inuyasha! Are you alright?" Miroku knelt down and helped Inuyasha to stand up.

"What just happened?" Inuyasha tested his balance as Miroku like him go. They both looked back at the Tsunio and saw that flashes of deep crimson youki was now swirling within the shadows.

Sesshoumaru suddenly appeared at Inuyasha's side, "They have your youki. They will be braking through the kekkai any minute now. Kisho!"

Inuyasha saw a blur of red as Kisho appeared at Sesshoumaru's side and bowed. "Prepare for war Kisho the Tsunio will be braking through at any minute. I want the Mikos, houshis, and healers to set up purifying kekkais over those three," Sesshoumaru raised his hand and gestured to three small cabins that were close by, "cabins for the wounded. I want the strongest Kitsunes to be my front line. The others will stand guard over the cabins."

Kisho bowed again and ran off. Inuyasha had never seen anyone move so fast before. The mikos, houshis and healers were running towards the cabins and within seconds new kekkais were set up. Kisho was leading a band of about seven Kitsune towards them and the others were all taking their positions outside the kekkais.

"We have done as you asked Sesshoumaru-sama. What orders to wish of us?"

Sesshoumaru turned away from Kisho and faced the kekkai. It was being beaten pretty badly now. Inuyasha felt like he was going to pass out at any moment. Inuyasha fell to his knees and wrapped his arms around his chest. His breathing was coming in short gasps. If this doesn't stop soon I am going to pass out and be an easy target for the Tsunio.

"Kisho I wish for you to take Inuyasha to the healers. He will…"

"I ain't going anywhere Sesshoumaru!" Sesshoumaru turned and glared at Inuyasha. Inuyasha growled at Sesshoumaru. "Like I would ever leave when these bastards are after Kagome." Inuyasha slowly got to his feet and glared at Sesshoumaru.

"Inuyasha you will be in the way and the Tsunio have your youki. You will not to able to fight against them since they will just absorb our youki. You know that Tessaiga is worthless against the Tsunio. No earthly weapon can stop them."

"I don't give a rat's ass Sesshoumaru. I ain't going anywhere," Inuyasha held in a grunt as the Tsunio pounded on the kekkai.

Sesshoumaru turned away from Inuyasha, "Do as you wish then. I will not protect you and will die this day. Kisho prepare for battle. Kitsune-bi is the only weapon we have right now."

"Hai Sesshoumaru-sama!" Kisho walked up to stand beside Sesshoumaru as they both glared at the Tsunio.

Inuyasha walked, limped, over to Miroku and Sango. "I want you guys to stay near the cabins. You will be safer there," Sango made to protest but Inuyasha glared at her, "no Sango you can't do anything against these things. Miroku you need to protect Sango with your holy powers." Miroku nodded and grabbed a hold of Sango and lead her off in the direction of the cabins.

Inuyasha limped back over to Sesshoumaru. "Sesshoumaru-sama the kekkai!"

The Tsunio, with their full force, attacked the kekkai one last time. The kekkai gave an almighty `gong' sound that echoed throughout the village. Everyone covered their ears at the sound. Inuyasha looked up in time to see the kekkai start to crack. Pieces of the kekkai started to fall to the ground and just before they hit the ground they vanished in a wisp of white smoke. The Tsunio had reared as the kekkai started to crack and disappear.

Inuyasha was trying his best to stay standing at this point. The braking of the kekkai was taking a toll on his body. At least with the kekkai gone I won't be feeling like I'm being punched and ripped on the inside. I will only have to worry about the Tsunio actually punching and ripping me apart. As long as Kagome is okay…

Inuyasha was pulled from his thoughts as the Tsunio shrieked out and came flying towards them. Inuyasha, instinctively, drew out Tessaiga. He knew that Tessaiga couldn't do anything to these creatures but at least he was going to give it a try. Inuyasha looked at Tessaiga and saw the marking on the bass of the blade. It was from Kagome's and his blood. Inuyasha smiled to himself as he felt Tessaiga pulsate in his grasp.

"This should be interesting…" Inuyasha smirked as the first wave of the Tsunio reared like a tsunami.

"Kisho attack now!" Sesshoumaru yelled out as seven different voices all yelled `KITSUNE-BI!!!!" Flashes of green white flames shot from the outstretched hands of the Kitsune that were creating a wall flames to stop the Tsunio. The Tsunio didn't have time to react as they came in contact with the flames. The sound was enough to make Inuyasha wish that his ear drums would just pop already.

The Tsunio pulled back and started to regroup. Inuyasha gripped onto Tessaiga as it started to pulsate once again. Tessaiga what are you trying to tell me? The Tsunio split into two groups and rounded the flames and came at them from both sides. Sesshoumaru yelled out for them to use their `Kitsune-bi' again but Inuyasha knew that is wasn't going to be enough.

A flash of fuchsia coursed through Tessaiga and lit up the marking at the base. Inuyasha smirked as he leap into the air and brought Tessaiga crashing down through the Tsunio that were trying to attack on the left. Tessaiga flashed and sparks and lightning shot off of it as it sliced through the Tsunio like butter. Along the edges of the Tsunio that were sliced in half a strange white light appeared and started to eat away at the them. Inuyasha felt Tessaiga hit the ground and he quickly jumped out of the way as they made to grab him.

Inuyasha landed gracefully beside Sesshoumaru and placed Tessaiga on his shoulder. The Tsunio broke away from the white purifying light and quickly retreated. Inuyasha smirked as his turned towards Sesshoumaru, "Keh! I think you are the one that is going to die today Sesshoumaru."

"Inuyasha-sama I did not know that you wielded a holy sword," Inuyasha turned as Kisho walked towards him.

"Tessaiga is not a holy sword. It is a demonic sword forged by the fang of my father."

"But the marking on the blade Inuyasha-sama means that a very powerful priest or miko spilled their blood upon it."

Inuyasha looked at the marking that was still glowing a soft fuchsia colour. Kagome. The ground gave an all mighty shake and everyone stumbled as they tried to keep their balance. Suddenly the ground split open and the Tsunio blasted through the crack and charged at everyone. There is no way to block this!

"EVERYONE GET DOWN!"

Inuyasha and everyone around him ducked down as a streak a fuchsia light pierced through the Tsunio. The Tsunio shrieked and hissed and started to disintegrate. Inuyasha stood up and watched as the wall of Tsunio became merely vanishing black fog. He turned his gaze away from the Tsunio and looked in the direction of the streak of energy. Inuyasha's jaw dropped at the sight that he saw.

"Kagome…" Inuyasha muttered. Flying towards them at a great speed was a large pure white full form Kitsune. Inuyasha squinted slightly at the mere light coming off of the kitsune. Kagome was sitting on top the kitsune as she placed another arrow to her bow and fired it off. The arrow changed into pure energy and blasted through the Tsunio, purifying them instantly.

"Sesshoumaru get the Kitsune to use their kitsune-bi and push the Tsunio back. Inuyasha follow us and use Tessaiga!" Kagome was already notching another arrow to her bow as they flew over head and charged at the Tsunio. Inuyasha leap through the wall of kitsune-bi and followed after Kagome.

Inuyasha vaguely heard Sesshoumaru telling the Kitsune to attack as he brought Tessaiga forth and sliced it through the air yelling out "Kize no Kazu!" His attacked charged down the Tsunio and Inuyasha was slightly shocked to see flecks of fuchsia energy running through his Kize no Kazu.

Kagome and Yuki-chan rounded the Tsunio and dodged the streams of black ribbons that were shot at them. Inuyasha couldn't believe how beautiful Kagome looked with the wind whipping her hair around and the look of determination on her face. She notched another arrow and let it fly just as Inuyasha used Kize no Kazu once again. The arrow connected with it and Inuyasha had to cover his eyes from the intense light.

The arrow merged with his attacked and amplified its power and speed by at least double. The Tsunio shrieked out as the attack ate away at them. The whole field was a glow with a mixture of fuchsia and gold light. When Inuyasha opened his eyes he saw three large groove marks running across the clearing. The remaining Tsunio were retreating into the woods. Inuyasha could hear everyone starting to cheer.

Inuyasha sheathed Tessaiga as Kagome and Yuki-chan landed gracefully beside them. Kagome leap down and ran towards Inuyasha. Inuyasha turned just as Kagome jumped into him. "Inuyasha are you alright?!" Kagome wrapped her arms around Inuyasha's neck and hugged him tightly.

Inuyasha returned the hug and gently whispered in her ear, "I am now." Kagome pulled away from Inuyasha and smiled up at him. Inuyasha couldn't help but smile back at Kagome. Inuyasha leaned back and gently kissed Kagome. He smirked when he heard Kagome moan softly and he deepened the kiss as he pulled her closer. Inuyasha ran his tongue along Kagome's lower lip and she eagerly opened her mouth and Inuyasha shot his tongue into the warm recesses of her mouth.

"If you two are quiet finished we have a kekkai to rebuild." Inuyasha broke from the kiss and growled at Sesshoumaru. He looked back at Kagome and smirked as she stood there breathless and flushed in the face.

"Yuki-chan it is good to see you. Are you ready to rebuild the kekkai?" Sesshoumaru had turned his attention away from Inuyasha and was now talking with the white kitsune. Inuyasha watched as the kitsune nodded and lowered its head to Sesshoumaru. "Inuyasha you will be needed for this as well."

Inuyasha released Kagome and walked over to Sesshoumaru. Sesshoumaru was standing in front of Yuki-chan and Inuyasha stopped beside Sesshoumaru. "Alright Sesshoumaru what do we do?"

Yuki-chan opened her mouth and Inuyasha watched as her canines extended. "We must give out blood to Yuki-chan and then she will create a powerful kekkai that will protect the village once again." Inuyasha looked at Sesshoumaru confused until he reached up with his hand, palm facing upwards, and gabbed his hand into one of Yuki-chan's canines. Sesshoumaru turned and looked at Inuyasha.

Inuyasha walked forward and did the same as Sesshoumaru. It was the weirdest thing that Inuyasha had ever felt. It didn't even hurt. Inuyasha looked at his hand and saw that his blood was curling around Yuki-chan's canine and being absorbed by her. Yuki-chan slowly pulled away and Inuyasha felt his hand instantly heal.

"You might want to stand back," stated Sesshoumaru as he stepped away from Yuki-chan. Inuyasha followed suit as Yuki-chan sat on her hind legs and roared to the sky. Yuki-chan's whole body started to glow an intense white. Inuyasha shielded his eyes as the light got more and more intense. Inuyasha couldn't believe the youki that was coming off of her.

A wave of energy shot off of Yuki-chan and flowed to the borders of the village. Inuyasha looked the edge of the forest and saw that the energy was still floating there and was slowly starting to expand, creating the same kekkai that once protected the village. Yuki-chan pulsated again and again the wave of energy shot off and connected with the first wave and re enforced it.

Inuyasha was in a state of total awe as he watched wave after wave of energy fly off of Yuki-chan and create a huge kekkai.

"INUYASHA!"

Inuyasha turned around just in time to see a bone sickle attached to a chain wrap around Kagome's waist. It was as if Inuyasha was watching this all in slow motion. Kagome looked down at her waist as the chain tightened and Kagome was pulled back. Kagome doubled over by the sheer force and was dragged across the ground towards the forest. Inuyasha ran after Kagome as she tried to grab onto anything that would get her to stop. The ground was becoming uneven as she neared the forest. The kekkai was almost complete and Inuyasha couldn't help himself to wish that the kekkai would hurry up and be created so that Kagome would run into it.

Inuyasha saw the panic in Kagome's eyes and scent the fear in her scent as she vanished into the forest. "NOOOOOO!" Inuyasha screamed as connected with the kekkai and Kagome vanished into the darkness of the woods.

"KAGOME!!!!!" Inuyasha screamed as he pounded on the kekkai. Inuyasha heard a muffled scream as the shadows of the forest came to life and took off into the sky. "no no no no no!!!!"

"Kagome-chan!" Sango had run after Inuyasha shortly followed by Miroku, Shippo, Rin, Kirara and Sesshoumaru.

Inuyasha turned and looked at Sesshoumaru. "Open this fucking kekkai up now!" Sesshoumaru, with a cold look on his face replied, "I can not do that Inuyasha."

"Why the fuck not!"

"Because the kekkai is fresh Inu-chan and I can not remove it until tomorrow morning." Inuyasha jumped at the sudden voice. He turned his gaze away from Sesshoumaru and it fell upon a young kitsune with white hair and a long tail.

"Inu-chan?" Inuyasha shook his head. "That doesn't matter what you called me. Why can't you open the kekkai and don't give me that fresh crap."

The kitsune knelt down and placed a hand on Inuyasha's shoulder. "I am sorry Inu-chan but since the kekkai was just created I can not remove it until the new sun's rays shine upon it. But do not worry I know where they are taking Kagome-chan and I am sure that she is safe."

"Where are they taking Kagome-sama," Miroku asked.

"They are taking her to the Mountain of Darkness. The home of the Lord of Darkness, Ryuzaburo."

A/N: I know I was to post this last night but I have a mother who is a light sleeper and she told me to get off the computer or she would disconnect the computer from the internet and sell it off. I didn't really want that to happen so I shut it off. But to make up for it I drew two more pictures. I figured that since the lemon wouldn't be happening for a little bit longer I would draw a `preview' of it for you all. The first pic is called `Mating' and the second is call `The Morning After'.
