Inuyasha yelped and crab-crawled backward, tripping over his own hair in his panic. A cock demon. Kagome had to have been attacked by some sort of cock demon. Or a--a parasite. Or a curse! She must be cursed! He didn't know what kind of curse would do that--or what kind of parasite, or even what a "cock demon" was--but it was the obvious answer. His Kagome, the real, unattacked, uncursed, un-parasited Kagome, would never… follow him with the demon bobbing under her skirt! Agh! He scrambled back and fetched up against a tree.

He stared up at her, panting, wide-eyed, as she strode up to him. She struck his knees apart peremptorily and kneeled between them again, leaning so close to him that he could feel the heat of her face. "Basic animal psychology," she said. Her voice was low and sultry. He felt her hand trail down his side. "The one on top dominates. The one on the bottom submits. So we fight, you and I, and the one on the top wins… everything. The one on the bottom learns who's his master."

A fight! Inuyasha could handle this. He let out a bark of laughter. "You talk as though you knew you were going to win," he said. He raised his hand, the fingers curled to show off his gleaming claws. "Have you forgotten who's the real fighter here? I don't care how powerful that demon-thing is, I'm gonna beat it."

For a moment, Kagome was her old self again, wide-eyed, puzzled, giving him her patented "Aru?" look. "Demon thing?"

"That thing between your legs, the parasite-curse-demon thing that's gotten ahold of you." Inuyasha pointed.

Kagome leaned back and looked down. She laughed. "This? Oh, this is a strap-on, Inuyasha!" She stood and pulled up her skirt, showing him the harness buckled over her panties. The--demon-cock-thing--waggled as she twitched her hips from side to side like a schoolgirl showing off a new pair of shorts. "It's made of latex and silicone. Those are just… substances my time has that your time doesn't. I picked it up on a trip downtown. Do you like it?"

"No." Inuyasha's fingers twitched as he picked himself off the ground and moved into fighting posture. "But that's okay. You're not going to be wearing it for long."

"If you win," Kagome said. A secretive sparkle came into her eyes. "And remember, to the victor go the spoils. If you win, you can do anything."

"Anything?"

Kagome smoothed her hands down her body, describing curves. Inuyasha's eyes followed. "Anything."

Inuyasha grinned, showing fang. His thoughts were full of moans, and cries, and hot, wet secret places. He would beat her, then he would rip that obscene thing off and shred it into a thousand little pieces, and then he would--

--cosh her over the head and carry her to Kaede for de-sorcelling. He couldn't bring himself to do what he wanted to Kagome, even if she was under a spell, even if it was part of the deal. Even if she was offering to do worse to him in return. But it was a pleasant thought, just the same. He wondered what she did when she came. Did she scream? Was she a whimperer? Or would her toes curl, and her knees shiver in his grip, while she made not a sound?

"Are you going to attack me, or not?"

Inuyasha woke out of his reverie. Those thoughts were for later. Now, the only thing he should be thinking about was how to take her down without hurting her. She stood in a completely open posture, feet together, arms down. She even twiddled with the end of her school tie. That kind of defenselessness could mask a blistering offense, though, and there was no telling what powers the spell had imbued her with, so the trick was to dart in fast with his strongest attack while being prepared for anything. He steeled himself, then rushed her.

"Sit!"

Inuyasha thudded to the ground, skidding through the leafmold until he came to rest at Kagome's feet.

Kagome leaned over. Her breath was soft and warm as she whispered, "I didn't say it would be a fair fight."
