Dark's Escape
 
*Next Morning*
 
Sesshomaru woke up calmly and looked around. He started to close his fist but felt something in his fist. He opened it to find a note. He opened the note and read:
Dear Sesshomaru,
I'm sorry for leaving you, Rin, Jaken, and Dark like this, but I had some business to take care of. Please take care of Dark for me. Don't let him come after me. I really am sorry for leaving. I was really getting used to you. I think I like you more than just a friend. Well, anyways I know we'll be seeing each other around.
Forever love,
Katja Faith.
 
Sesshomaru crumbled up the note and growled, which made Dark wake up.
“Where's Katja?” Dark asked a little groggy.
Sesshomaru looked down at Dark and felt pity for the little taiyoukai. “She left, she left me to watch over you while she was gone.”
“No… she wouldn't leave me! She promised to always be with me!” Dark said getting up.
“NO! You can't go!” Sesshomaru says grabbing Dark's wrist. “She said stay with me! You can't go!”
“You can't tell me what to do! You're not my father! And you're not Katja!”
Sesshomaru looked like he had been slapped, “No I'm not Katja. So listen to her now, stay with me…”
“Where's your proof that left and said that?”
Sesshomaru handed the crumbled up note to Dark.
Dark uncrumbled it, read it as tears formed around his eyes, crumbled it back up, and said, “Fine… I'll stay with you.”
“Good, we're going back to my land, I have to meet some other Lords to get ready for the war coming.”
“Are you fighting?”
“Of course. I have to protect my lands and my people.”
“Can I fight?”
“I don't think that would make Katja happy. I really don't want to make her mad at me. I don't know what she would do to me.”
“Okay… when do we leave?”
“Now…” he said holding Rin, standing up gently so not to wake Rin, and woke up Jaken. “We're leaving.”
“Now, L-Lord?”
“Yes Jaken, now.”
Sesshomaru heard somebody running to the door. He looked around just in time to see Dark run out into the sunlight.
“Dark! Come back!:” he yelled.
“No! I'm going to find Katja!” Dark said as he ran as fast as he could.
