Chapter One: Meeting `Inu Love'

Kagome woke up to Sesshoumaru banging on her door. "What the hell do you want at…" she paused to look at her alarm clock. She nearly fell out of bed when she saw what time it was. "SIX O'CLOCK IN THE FUCKING MORNING!!" Kagome was outraged. She always slept until 8:30 no later no earlier. That's the way it was. Kagome climbed out of bed, walked to the door, yanked the door open and saw the stoic face of our favorite Sesshoumaru. "What the fuck do you want asshole!" Kagome tried to sound calm. "Oh nothing really just needed to go over some basics with you ok?" Sesshoumaru didn't wait for her answer he was already inside and seated at her table in the corner. Kagome rolled her eyes, tied her robe shut and followed suit. "Ok Sesshoumaru what is it?" Kagome asked then yawned. "Ok listen… The band that we'll be touring with is my brother's band." Kagome almost choked on her own spit. "NANI??" Sesshoumaru tried not to get annoyed with her damn yelling but he was slowly losing that war.

"Yes my half brother, Inuyasha, started that band. Along with Kikyo Miko, Kanna Akuma, and Tsubaki Tsumi." **THUMP** Kagome landed right on her ass on the floor. Sesshoumaru jumped up and grabbed her hand. "Are you ok?" He asked as he helped her up. "NO!! I'm not OK!! Why in the HELL would you make me work with THOSE people!" Sesshoumaru helped Kagome back into her seat and then sat across from her. "Those people?? You mean you know them?" He asked very much confused. "DUH! I know them! So does the rest of the band!" Kagome was very agitated by this point. She began to rub her temples. "How do you know them?" Sesshoumaru asked, curious as to how the people he worked with and grew to love knew these other people that did the most despicable things imaginable. "Ok fine! Well where do I start??? Hmmmm Let's see Kikyo Miko is the bitch Koga slept with while dating me… So she is the reason we are finished. She is the reason that I am MISERABLE!! Um Kanna is Kagura's little sister, that shot AND killed her long time boyfriend, soon to be fiancee', Tsubaki is the bitch that fucked Sango's dad and made them get their divorce AND did the same to Shippo. And as for your brother I've never met but just from the people he hangs with and the music he sings I don't want to either!" Sesshoumaru's mouth was almost in his lap. "Are you serious. What do you mean she shot and killed him… Why isn't she in jail then?" "They couldn't get enough dirt on her and Kagura wouldn't testify. She felt immorally wrong to testify against family." Kagome finished and stood up.

Kagome walked to the bathroom and got dressed in a black belly shirt that said `ROCKER' across the breast and loose fitting camo pants with her black flip flops. She was walking out of the bathroom and putting her hair up in a high ponytail when Sango came bursting in the room. "SESSHOUMARU!! What the fuck are you doing to us!" She yelled at the still seated Sesshoumaru, Ice prince. He calmly looked up at her and then to Kagome who was now much more relaxed then earlier. Kagome looked at Sango and said "I know San he is a complete dickhead BUT we do have to work with them. So we will just make the best of it so we'll get these next six months over with as soon as possible. Ok?" Kagome smiled sweetly and looked at Sesshoumaru then crossed her arms across her chest. Sesshoumaru knew he was in deep shit but stood up and said "Look I'm sorry I didn't know you knew any of these people but I already signed the contract and all so we're stuck. Lets just go downtown to the studio and meet them ok?" Sesshoumaru finished and headed out the door. Sango whined and bitched the whole way downstairs. When they got down to the limo's everything was already in them and ready to go. All that needed to be done now was, the people needed to get in. Koga and Shippo got on one side of the first limo followed by Kagura and Rin, on the other side. Sango and Kagome got in the second limo seated across from Sesshoumaru.

It took about twenty minutes to get to the studio but when they arrived they saw a huge tour bus sitting outside in the garage so they knew they were here. `Dammit' Kagome mused but steadily walked inside with the others. Inside was a big black room with black couches and chairs in various places. Seated on a small loves seat directly in front of the door on the far wall was Inuyasha holding Kikyo in his lap. In a chair beside them was Kanna and across the room by the door that lead into the recording part of the studio was Tsubaki leaning against the wall impatiently. On a couch to the left of the door was their clothes designer and makeup artist, Ayame Takahashi, Sesshoumaru's little sister. Sitting next to her was a tall, thin man with short black hair styled much like pink's hair. He had more make up on then anyone in the room. He was obviously fruity. Sango snorted when she saw him. "Who is that?" She asked no one in particular. "Well hello girlfriend I'm Hojo Suwa, Inu Love's hair and make up artist." He held out his little flamer hand to Sango. "That great!" she said and turned around to face the door. They were all giving each other death glares. Kikyo's was directed at Kagome, Tsubaki's at Rin and Shippo, Kanna's at Kagura, and Inuyasha's at Sesshoumaru. Everyone could feel the tension in the room. Just when Kagome thought it couldn't get any worse the most striking man came in the room. He wore a plain black suit. His hair was just as black and hanging loosely over his shoulders. It was almost as long as Kagome's. Kagome couldn't help but stare he was gorgeous. "Hi I'm Naraku Onigumo, Manger of Inu Love. Nice to meet you all." He smiled a creepy smile and shook Sesshoumaru's hand. "Hi Sesshoumaru. Also manager." Sesshoumaru gave him the ever so classical stoic expression.

"Well if everyone's ready let's get practicing." Naraku said then sat on an empty couch and began writing random things down. The group went into the meeting room, where there was a big table that they all could sit at. Since Kagome was the lead singer she decided to take it upon herself to ask "What song are we singing first?" Kikyo smiled at her then said "Well sweetheart I wanted to go with `Dancing Queen'. I think that is a good choice." Kikyo finished and sat back in her chair. "That is such a good choice." Kanna chimed in and also sat back giving off the same look as Kikyo. Tsubaki rolled her eyes at them. Inuyasha leaned in and kissed her cheek. "You are so smart babe." "Oh come on that song is shit… We are ROCKERS we don't sing pop! Think of another." Sango interrupted the little PDA that Kikyo and Inuyasha were engaged in. (PDA is Public Display of Affection… Just in case you weren't sure!) Kikyo "Hmph'd" and started thinking again. Kagome smiled and sat up as she spoke. "How about we combine songs?" Kagome offered. Right then a tall man with dark shoulder length hair and dark purple eyes came in. "Hey what did I miss??" "Who are you?" Sango asked completely dumbfounded. "Oh sorry I'm the backup drummer slash backup male vocal for Inu Love. Name's Miroku." He smiled and sat across from Sango.

"Ok fine, fine, fine whatever little miss `thang' I don't care what we sing just pick some songs!" Kagome said annoyed at all the people not even paying attention to the problem at hand. "Ok we vote `Lucky' by our mentor `Britney Spears'." Kagome rolled her eyes. `Dammit of course they'd pick that shit!' she mused. Sango was deep in thought. "Oh I got one." She smiled wickedly it was of course another pop song but if they played their music right it could pass as rock. She only liked it because it mention's Britney Spears. "OK well what is it." Inuyasha huffed. "How about `Don't let me get me' by `Pink'?" "whatever!" Kikyo blurted out before anyone else could say anything. "OK it's decided then. Work on it now and decide parts and remember Kikyo, and Inuyasha are the lead vocalists on Inu Love." Naraku butted in. "Ok well Kagome and Koga are the leads on Raging Purity. So I'll sit down with you and we'll go over the details and assign parts. Then start practicing. Tomorrow we'll record and Friday night is the concert. Is everyone up to date?" Sesshoumaru said with authority. Everyone simultanisouly nodded `yes' and began assigning parts.

About an hour later parts were decided and they were starting the practicing. It took until 3 o'clock in the morning for them to FINALLY get it right and return to their hotels. Kagome fell asleep quickly that night. She dreaded tomorrow.
