Almost There and Hiei Almost Found
They walked for awhile and arrived at a village
about a mile away from the castle. They planned
to stay the night seeing that it was late.
"So, tonight we stay here and tomorrow we go to
the southern castle," Kagome exclaimed with a
smile.
"Okay mama, so where are we going since Miroku
isn't here," Shippo asked.
"Well, we'll have to find someplace," Kagome said
while looking around.
Kagome started walking and then decided that they
would keep walking till it was too dark to see. Shippo
agreed because they would make better timeing.
They walked for about 20 minutes and came upon a
clearing. They settled by a tree and Kagome made a
fire. She looked up in the tree and all the memories of
Inuyasha came back to her all at once. She smiled a
sad smile. Shippo looked at her and noticed she was
looking up at the tree. Shippo miled when the memories
came back to him too.
"Has it really been that long," Kagome asked herself.
Kagome got fup and climbed the tree. Shippo jumped
on her shoulder as she climbed. She sat on a branch
and looked out at the sky. She sighed and climbed down.
She layed down under the tree with Shippo snug next to her.
Then her eyelids got heavy and the next thing she knew she
was in a deep sleep. The thing she didnt notice in the tree
were a pair of crimson red eyes watching her.
Hiei watched her sleep and was surprised that she didnt sense
or see him in the tree when she was in it. He took off to the
southern lands to report this to his mother.
Kagome woke up early and got up making sure she didnt wake up
Shippo. She started breakfast and went for a walk to find a nice hot
spring. After awhile she found one and started back to get Shippo.
While she was walking down the path she sensed the demon from
before in the tree there.
