Now, if something weird happens in this chapter, don't blame me! I didn't even know what was going to happen until I finished, so this is as much as a surprise for me as it is for you!
The quote of the chapter is:
"Dzuki totte goshwiinjiga, tsukairyou goshwiin kashira. Dzuki totte yonin, tsukairyou goshwiin chuusin." - Unknown
Alright, on with the chapter then!

*Inside Naraku's barrier*
Outside of the barrier was a huge jumbled pile of humans, knocked down by something that have thrust them all out of the barrier. That is something, or some one.
"Ow, my head," InuYasha whined as he stood up, "what hit us?"
Miroku and Sango stood, suddenly freezing and standing, staring at something like slack-jawed idiots.
InuYasha helped Kagome to stand, and then walked over to the two astonished group members. He stood there watching them, waving his hand in front of their faces.
"Are you guys alright?"
Kagome walked over, turning InuYasha's head to look at the two enormous dogs standing in front of them.
"Holy sh-what in the seven were you two throwing a fit about?! You were just transforming into your true forms!!!"
Sesshoumaru sat on his haunches, shaking the ground slightly. He bent his head toward InuYasha and nudged him with his nose, exhaling deeply and almost knocking InuYasha backward.
"If dogs had a few more facial expressions," whispered Sango, "I'm sure that that would be an ice-cold glare."
Kagome and Miroku just nodded, still staring at the slightly smaller snow-white dog that was making her way over to them.
Suzuka stopped in front of them, lying down and looking as elegant and regal as ever before, her head held high, chest out, front legs crossed, hind legs lying leisurely to her right side as she sat on her hip. She was nothing compared to Sesshoumaru, though. She was just a tad-bit bigger than Ayumu's dog form, but only because of her deer-like legs and stretched-looking neck.
There was a small fiery explosion just the size of some one's palm in the fur on her back. Soon after, a pair of wings sprouted from her back, accompanied by sickening cracking noises as the bones took shape. She looked back at them, her eyes widening at the sight of her own wings. Suzuka quickly jumped up, running behind Sesshoumaru and staying there, her wings folded as tightly as she could get them.
Sesshoumaru was making a weird huffing noise, his head bobbing each time he made the sound. Everyone kind of looked at him as if he were crazy, or choking, whichever comes first. He looked at them and - still huffing slightly - stood up, revealing Suzuka. She quickly looked up at Sesshoumaru, noticing he wasn't hiding her anymore.
Everyone was getting just a little confused to say the least. They watched on as Suzuka jumped onto Sesshoumaru's back, trying to weasel her way into his giant pelt. Sesshoumaru fell over, huffing like no one's business.
"What's wrong with him?"
Kagome looked over at InuYasha and said, "What's wrong with HIM?! What's wrong with her?!"
"NO, SESSHOUMARU!!!"
Everyone looked over as Sesshoumaru pulled a very angry-looking Suzuka out of his fur. She was screaming every word that came to mind at him, trying to run back behind him. He used his snout and pushed her toward them.
"You jerk, I'll get you for this later," Suzuka screamed as she took a swipe at his nose with her claws, missing terribly because he pulled his nose out of her reach too quickly.
"Yep, that's Suzuka, alright," Shippo said as he walked over to stand in front of her.
She looked down at him and snorted in his face, blowing him through the barrier.
"Shippo, no," Kagome ran after him, fearing that the same thing might happen to him as the two taiyoukai.
When she made it to him, she scooped him into her arms and found that he was perfectly fine.
"What," Suzuka took a huge leaped and slinked around Kagome and looked over her shoulder at Shippo. "Why did nothing happen to him?!"
"Suzuka," Sesshoumaru said as he leaned to eye level with her, his voice extremely gravely and hoarse, "maybe that is his true form."
Suzuka snorted at him and said, "fine. Let's just go and get Ayumu and Kuzume so we can go home!"
She laid down on the ground looking at Kagome. "Get on. It'll be much quicker if we carry everyone."
"Right," Kagome said as she climbed onto Suzuka's back, still holding Shippo.
InuYasha, Sango, and Miroku all walked back into the barrier. Sesshoumaru crouched enough for the remaining three to stagger up his back and to his neck where they held onto his fur. Kelala transformed and came through the barrier, planning to just follow everyone from the air.
Kagome wrapped her arms around Suzuka's neck, Shippo on her shoulder. As Suzuka stood, her wings ruffled Kagome's clothes on both sides, folding them over Kagome's legs and taking off ahead of Sesshoumaru.
As soon as everyone was situated on Sesshoumaru's back, he stood and started after Suzuka at a jog. His longer legs carried him much farther in one step than Suzuka, but she still had her demon speed.
They would reach Naraku's castle in minutes.
*Dungeon*
Naraku fell to the ground with a disgusting thud, his left arm landing in front of him, sword still loosely grasped in it. Ayumu and Kuzume were breathing very quickly from terror. Ayumu let her hand fall to her side, forgetting about the dagger that she had thrown still in Naraku's body.
"Are you alright," Ayumu asked as she stood and walked toward Naraku with great caution.
Kuzume looked at her and let out a small laugh, saying, "Me or him? Because he could be better, I'm sure."
Ayumu smiled, "glad to see I'm finally rubbing off on you."
She hopped over Naraku, crossing to the door and her now-favorite blade. She yanked it out of the wall, looking at the side, gleaming in the low torch-light. It was a simple enough dagger, but wider than most. It was about five inches long and three inches wide with a deep gash from the tip to the handle. Snakes intertwined along its shining metallic surface.
"Come one, Kuzume. Let's go."
They slipped out of the room, slicing the guards' throats outside and then continuing up a flight of stairs and to their freedom.
