Chapter Four: A Kiss to Tell How Much I Missed You
Kirosha and Miroku had gotten some food and went to the outskirts of the city, near Kirosha's old house. When the got there, he led her up the very same tree he had climbed up years ago. "Miroku, remember when we were kids and we went through training together? It brings back so many memories…" She said. She sighed. Miroku knew it was time to ask her. To tell her his feelings. "Kirosha-" He said. Then he looked at her. Then he turned away. He sighed. "What is it Miroku?" Kirosha said looking at Miroku. "Remember when we were ten? I asked you to spend the night. You accepted. But you never showed up. The reason you never showed up? You had to go on a stupid date with Tonochi when he asked after me! All I wanted was to spend time with you! But nooooo! You had to go with a hotshot monk who didn't know left from right!" He snapped. "But Miroku-" She said. She was on the verge of tears. "Kirosha, know how much I missed you?" He asked. Kirosha shook her head her eyes watery. "This much." He said. He then pulled her into a kiss. A hot, demanding kiss. She couldn't believe it. She didn't know he loved her that much. He let go of her. He then turned away from her. He would just wait for a reaction. He would probably get slapped like he always did. "Miroku…" Kirosha said. "What?" He said not looking at her. "I'm sorry." She then burst out crying. He nearly fell out of the tree from her sudden outburst. "Hey… Its fine. All is forgiven. Just promise me you won't tell anyone about tonight." He said. "OK. I won't tell anyone." Kirosha said. Her crying started to die down. "Kirosha, get going. Tell the guys I'll be there soon." Miroku said. "OK." Kirosha replied. Kirosha left, a warm feeling inside. She never knew how much pain she had given Miroku when they were ten. When she disappeared down the road, a older looking Tonochi came down the other side of the road. "Time to put some sense into him." Miroku thought. Miroku jumped down from the tree right in front of Tonochi. "Hey. How have you been?" Miroku asked. "I don't know you. Get away from me." Tonochi said. "Oh but you do know me. Remember Miroku? The one who you stole a girl from who you knew he liked? That Miroku-" He said. He then pointed at himself. "-Is me." He added. He lowered his hand. "Oh. That's who you are. Thought I seen you somewhere. As for stealing a girl, you're talking dumb." Tonochi said. "Do you remember Kirosha?" Miroku asked. "Oh! Her! Yep, went out with her a couple of times." He said. "You remember her? Well, you stole her from me! You knew I loved her!" He yelled. "So what. If you want to fight, prepare to lose. I'm the toughest guy here." Tonochi bragged. A squirrel came by. "Oh really?" Miroku said. He took of the rosary and pointed a fist at the squirrel. He opened the fist. The wind tunnel unleashed its power and sucked the squirrel inside. Miroku clenched is hand into a fist again. "So, you were saying you were all powerful?" Miroku said. Tonochi's face twitched. No one in their right mind would anger him. "Oh well. I would beat you anyways." He said. He turned on his heel and left. "Heh. Coward." Miroku said. He smirked. Then left to find the Gang.
