InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ A Perpetual Love ❯ Koga ( Chapter 3 )

[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]

Haven't updated in such a long time….I would be surprised if you were even reading this…poor people probably gave up….so yeah I've been away from media miner for a while….I have been writing poetry to end writers block….and drawing….so now I have lots and lots of new ideas. ^_^ So yeah onto the disclaimer….

Disclaimer: I don't own Inuyasha, Rumiko Takahashi does….everyone knows….but I'm still sad about it….

As Miroku stay there holding Kagome, the gust of wind soon turned to a tornado. And he already knew it was none other than Koga. But Koga was confused as hell when he saw this scene…

“So now I gotta compete against you too?!” Koga shouted confused but agitated nonetheless.

“Koga, Kagome has been sad…and nobody has any idea why…she just keeps crying.” Miroku said looking down at a very sad Kagome. Some very tired wolves came running after Koga and sat down to rest for a second but then went over and started licking the tears off of Kagome's ghostly pale face, while growling at Miroku as to tell him to stay away from the woman that their master loved. Kagome separated from Miroku which disappointed him, to be stood up by wolves. Miroku stood up to go alert Inuyasha that Koga had arrived then he walked to the village that Kagome had previously stormed out of. Kagome wrapped her arms around the wolves as they continued to lick the still-flowing tears off her face. Koga looked very worried for he had never seen her in such a state.

“Kagome, I'll take you away from that damned mutt so you can feel better.” Koga knew it was about her because his instincts caught onto something. Every time he caught the scent of some dead woman and Inuyasha together, Kagome's scent would disappear soon after. Which meant she went back to her time.

He picked Kagome up bridal-style, then he started running towards his wolf den to keep her there for a while. Or for as long as he could, anyways.

Kagome didn't care at all where she went. She was sad and wanted to be dead. Not to mention her head was killing her from the crying, and she wanted all this pain to go away. But she couldn't stop thinking about how Inuyasha could go on without her, as long as he had Kikyo (~which sickens the hell out of this poor fanfic author….I hate Kikyo….~).

They arrived at the den, and all the wolves rushed over to see her. Koga's wolves always loved Kagome, there was just something special about her. Koga carried Kagome into a cave and laid her onto a very large pile of straw to rest on, which she found comfier than sleeping on the hard ground or on wooden cabin floors. She just lay there and stared at Koga hoping for him to comfort her.

-Kagome—This is the one time I finally want to be flattered by him and he won't flatter me…I just want to be loved…I want to stay here for a while and clear my mind.

It was almost as if Koga had read Kagome's mind because right then he sat down and cradled her in his arms. She liked the feeling of being held, but when he held her she thought of Inuyasha and how he held her. Although those moments were rare, she loved each and every one of them. She could have sworn that she saw Inuyasha holding her instead of Koga, but then she thought to herself that she might be going crazy from the crying. Koga held Kagome closer to him and looked down at her with soft eyes.

“Even if that mutt doesn't love you, I always will.” And then he did something that she didn't exactly see coming: he closer his eyes and leaned his face down….and he kissed her.

-Kagome—Why can't I struggle?! Why can't I pull away?! I never thought that Koga was that sweet…I want to pull away…but I like the feeling of being loved…but now I feel like a slut!! Maybe I could make Inuyasha jealous though…

So then Kagome did something that Koga didn't expect. She sat up and returned the kiss. Although it didn't last long it wasn't exactly torture, and it left Kagome kind of dazed. And Koga seemed even more surprised and confused than when he saw Kagome and Miroku holding each other. He couldn't exactly speak because he didn't exactly know what to say. Kagome stood up and walked outside of the cave, wanting to get everything off her mind.
