So I've got this other website story telling thing. Its quizilla. And I've got 2 other stories on that one that im working on, and one that i already finished. the stories i have are: Knight in Shining Armor, Till Death Do Us Part, and I finished Loving Hatred awhile ago. I just thought i'd let ya'll know so that you could go and read them if you wanted to.
Umm... hah, theres nothing else i gotta say, so I'll just get to the story. ^_^
"Dad, Arya. Theres something that I have to tell you." Kagome, InuYasha, Arya and Patrick were sitting on the porch outside. Damian and Delilah were playing in the grass near the house. "InuYasha and I..."
"We're getting married." InuYasha took up what Kagome was about to say, grabbing her hand.
Patrick was struck silent, and Arya looked pretty surprised her self, but then she closed her expression. "You two are getting married? I knew that you liked each other, but... You're getting married? Don't you think its a little too soon? I mean... Kagome's just 18. And InuYasha... You're 22!"
Patrick found his voice. "Are you sure this is what you want to do? If you two really want to get married, I can't really stop you, but... I want to make sure that this is what you want."
Kagome smiled and nodded. InuYasha squeezed her hand and smiled too. "Yes, Patrick. I really do love Kagome, and if she's willing to live with me, I do want to marry her.""Yes, Dad." Kagome looked at InuYasha adoringly. "We do want to get married. We're in love."Her dad looked between Kagome and InuYasha. Then he looked to Arya who tentatively nodded and smiled. "Okay. I guess you two can get married. When do you want the wedding?""As soon as possible." InuYasha said.
"But I want Mama and Souta to be there. Teriko, too, if he has too." Kagome added.
"Sesshomaru, too." Everyone looked at InuYasha in astonishment. "He'll want to be there. He'll want to know that he'll actually get his inheritance, now, seeing as how I'm of age and married."
Kagome looked at him with a puzzled expression. "He only gets his inheritance when you get married? Thats a little wierd."
InuYasha shrugged. "Well, my father wanted to be sure that Sesshomaru took care of me. I guess the fact that I get married is good enough to taking care of me."
"Oh." Kagome still looked puzzled but shrugged too. "Well. I think the wedding should be later this week. Is that okay with you, InuYasha?"
"I'd rather it be sooner... Like maybe today... But later this week is good, too." He gave Kagome a private wink, that only she could see, and she blushed, smiled, and looked back at her father.
"Well, its settled then. We'll get married... Saturday?" Kagome looked to her parents for approval then pulled InuYasha up with her. "Great. Then I'll go upstairs to write some invitations. Oh! I still have to get a dress! Arya, will you take me later?" Arya smiled and nodded. "Great! I can't wait! C'mon, InuYasha!"
As InuYasha and Kagome headed upstairs, Arya and Patrick laughed. Then, Melanie, one of the maids in Patricks employment came down and spoke to Patrick. "Sir, I wanted to tell you that I finished my chores. Is there anything else I can do, for you?" She gave him a sultry smile, totally ignoring the fact that Arya was there.
"Actually, Melanie," Arya said, polite but angry, "I think that you're done for the day. Why don't you go see if Gorin is finished and you can leave." Arya watched Melanie leave and then turned to her husband. "Patrick, I don't like that girl. Or Gorin. They're... evil. I can sense it."
Patrick watched Melanie leave with a frown then turned to his wife. "I know. I can sense it too, but if I fire her, she'll find some way to exact revenge. And I think I should keep her around. Just to protect you and the kids. Especially the new one thats on the way." And Patrick bent over to kiss his wife while placing his hand over her slightly distended stomach.
"Arya! This is the one." Kagome and Arya had been shopping for nearly 3 hours before Kagome picked the dress that she wanted. It was a simple white gown with no straps and a wrap-around like skirt. (Picture at the bottom). While she was shopping, InuYasha had picked out an engagement ring for her. Kagome had gasped at the beauty of it, and was afraid to ask the price. InuYasha refused to tell her though. The wedding rings they picked out were simple gold bands, but inscribed with their names, the date of the wedding, and Kagome inscribed InuYasha's with the words, "I will always love you. No matter what." InuYasha inscribed Kagome's with the words, "I will love and protect you forever."
Well, I bet you guys cant wait for the next chapter. I know that cuz I cant... lol
