(Inuyasha, A 17 year old junior in high school has just killed himself. He drove his car at 90 miles per hour off the side off a bridge into the river below. He wakes up in an unknown place, not sure what is going on or what is in store for him)

He saw a blinding white light as he opened his eyes. He wasn't sure where he was, the last thing he remembered was closing his eyes as he floored the gas pedal in his car and made a sharp right to the railing of the bridge. Finally getting over the blurred vision and surrounding whiteness he examined his surroundings. There was nothing in this place, no walls no ceiling, only a chair and a T.V. screen mounted on an unseen platform. "Sit down Inuyasha." A voice from nowhere boomed in his ear. Inuyasha spun around trying to find the source but only saw more empty whiteness. "Who the hell are you?!?" "I told you to sit down, it was not a request" He still wasnt sure what was going on but still, it seemed as though this unseen entity was incharge and it was best if inuyasha didnt agner him so he took a seat as the screen flashed to life. As the screen turned on, he began to make out some of the picture, it was Inuyasha in the front seat of his car, raising his fist to the sky yelling to no one "What kind of all powerful being loves all his people but still my life is shit!!! I hope your real cuz' if i go to heaven and i find you im gonna kick your ass!!" The image faded to black again and the screen shut off, the booming voice was back again, "Well, it seems as though sense you cant find me you cant do anything, can you?" The voice laughed mocking him. Inuyasha spun around again tracking the voice, but as soon as he turned one direction the voice shifted to directly behind him taunting him. "Come now Inuyasha, you seemed so determined when you thought you were in charge. Find me if you can" Try as he might in this place where nothing was hidden behind nothing, he couldnt find this person that seemed to be nowhere and everywhere at once. "All right i give up, what do you want?" The man laughed again, "Its not what i want but what you want my son. You hate me because you feel my plan for you outcasted you from the happiness you observed in others. I am going to give you a second chance to make right for your sins and in return you will be rewarded.". "Wait a minute,'You hate me', 'my son' wait your god!?! What kind of sick shit is this, cant we just get this over with already?" "No Inuyasha, in all reality this is just the begining. Im going to give you a chance to live again as one of my chosen peoples. Your task is simple, I will send back to earth like none of this ever happened and all you have to do is bring Joy and Happiness to someone you've never met and in return you'll be given the one thing you've always wanted". Inuyasha was intrigued now, what did he mean bring joy and happiness, did he mean like doing good deeds or something? "Listen i'm not some fucking boy scout so you can take that deal and shove it right up you holy ass!" "No nothing like that child, what you will bring is nothing that can be measured like a good deed, in fact you probally wont even know when your task is complete. My last offer, do this task and you will be rewarded, do we have a deal?" He might as well be making a deal with Satan rather than the polar opposite but this was his only chance it seemed, he barked back a reluctant "yes."

Just as suddenly as it had started, it was over. Rather than speeding off the bridge to his death he was instead pulling into the parking lot at school. Shikon Academy, the name gave you a sense that this was a dignified establisment for an adavanced education but instead it was Inuyasha's personal hell. The people here were uptight and self righteous, they did nothing but flash their fancy cars and designer clothes in front of everyone and treat them like shit whenever the opputunity presented itself. There were many groups at this school, the preps, jocks, nerds, geeks, bullies, etc. etc. and then their was inuyasha. Not fitting in anywhere, nor did he really want to. He'd rather be by himself than one of those bastards no matter how any times he told himself otherwise. He walked into the school and made his way to the cafeterie. He didnt know that it was already noon and he had lunch this period but something seemed to direct him there. 'Exactly Inuyasha, i wasnt going to just abandon to do this on your own. Ill give you my guidance through out this if i think you need it' Inuyasha tried to say something back to 'it' but his thoughts couldnt be conveyed back, seems like this was only a 1-way line. He didnt know who he was looking for. In his mind he knew that there would be some life changing moment of sorts when his target was in his sight so he just relaxed and let his body be led to the cafeteria. When he got to the lobby his body started to turn right toward the senior lounge rather than the actually cafeteria 'Great, this is going to suck twice as hard as i expected.' The seniors were given this part of the lobby to use as their personal lounge during the day, many of them had already completed most of their class requirements and had most of the day to sit around doing nothing. There were almost a dozen couchs lining the walls, a few tv's and some video games to occupy their dim-witted attention spans as the day dragged on. But his body pointed him away from the clusters of chatting people toward the far corner, to a girl sitting by herself, all alone just like him. (A chorus of angels sings in inuyasha's head) 'I thought you would like that' the voice laughed 'Now think fast, the password is Kagome' Out of nowhere inuyasha was turned around, this time by a different sort of pull. Two members of the varsity Football team had him by the collar, in his face ready to strike. You see at Shikon Academy no underclassmen were allowed in the senior lounge unless they were invited, and the seniors made it their duty to show the 'dire consequences' of making the fatal mistake of wandering into their territory uninvited. "Where the fuck do you think your going Underclassmen?" Inuyasha thought back to what the voice had said 'Kagome' "I was just going to talk to Kagome" The girl looked up upon hearing her name and saw the situation inuyasha was in. She seemed a little worried but quickly waved her hand at them, motioning for Inuyasha to come over to her. "Your lucky your with her, hopefully that luck doesnt run out." They released their hold and went back to their spots next to their slutty cheerleader girlfriends on the center couch.

He want over and sat next to her, before he could even open his mouth, the voice was their again, 'O i forgot to mention theres one rule.. well actually two. You cant tell her your on a mission from god to make her happy and no trying to kill yourself again, its a pain to bring you up here and then send you right back down again' "Umm do i know you?" 'Better think fast skippy you only get one chance at a first impression' "Actually no. but i'd like to get to know you. My name's Inuyasha." The girl smiled, it seemed like she didnt usually have people interested in talking to her. "How flattering, well its nice to meet you Inuyasha. So what brings you over here in 'emenmy territory' " She let out a small laugh and inuyasha couldnt help but start to feel nervous. "What's going on, why do i feel so weird, i just met her?" "Well i saw your sketch pad, and your very pretty so i thought i would come over and talk to you." Kagome blushed "So are you an artist on your own or is it for some class?" She reached for her sketch pad, flipping up the cover to an ear-marked page. "I do anime drawings in my spare time, its actually kind of a hobby. I wanna go to school for something art related when i graduate." She handed him the book and his mouth gaped open as he flipped through the pages, stopping each time in awe to look at her drawings. "These are amazing, ive never seen something like this before. Theres so much detail and it looks like it could almost be real: like a portrait of someone more than something you just came up with." By the look on her face you could tell she wasnt used to compliments like this. The pages were still so crimp and straight, it seemed as though she had never shown them to anyone before. She smiled that perfect smile she had mesmorized him with before and than moved her perfect lips.. "Woah slow down inuyasha, you just met her lets hold off on the fantasies for a little while" The voice chimed in too 'Yeah i was jst about to suggest that myself' "Well inuyasha, i hope im not being to forward but, do you want to do something after school?" 'Try not to swallow your tongue now' "Ummmm, sure. We can hang out over at my house if you want?" She smiled again, and he could feel himself getting lost again "Sounds great, ill meet you here after school. And i'll let security know your on the VIP list so there wont be any problems this time." He laughed "Alright, its a date"
