A single night for you:

 

 

Damn you Inuyasha. Why? Why do you constantly go after her? I'm right here; right next to you. So why? Am I not good enough why? Well fuck you then I give up. I fucking give up. Kagome was hurt. And these thoughts weren't helping matters any. She got so mad after seeing him and her yet again.

 

~Flashback~

 

Inuyasha stood up; Kikyo's soul catchers danced around the camp site.

 

And with a last look at Kagome, he ran off as fast as his feet could carry him. Kagome awake in her, followed a little later. Soon she came to a clearing. Only to hide behind a large oak down wind from them.

 

“So Inuyasha, you came, when will we leave this world?”

 

“Keh, Kikyo, Naraku is not gone from this world.”

 

“Inuyasha, I grow tired of waiting for you, next time I come you will come with me; to repay for what has been done to me.” Inuyasha ears lay close to his head at this point.

 

“I'm so sorry for what happened to you Kikyo.” Inuyasha said as he held her in his arms.

 

“I am a priestess; I don't need your apologies.” With that Kikyo pushed him away. Kagome ran into the woods tears in her eyes.

 

 

~End Flashback~

 

Kagome looked to the heavens and screamed, “Fuck the world I DON”T GIVE a SHIT ANYMORE AT ALL!!!!!” Kagome then broke down and cried. And while she cried she never noticed the strange light that went into her back. She cried for more than an hour. In that hour, she changed. Kagome willed herself to forget her love for him. Kagome stood up drying her eyes and made her way back to camp a little empty on the inside.

“Where the fuck where you wench” screamed a worried hanyou.

“Inuyasha it's late and I'm not going to fight. Goodnight.”

 

Shippo looked in wonder at his adopted mom didn't sit Inuyasha. But he quickly got over his shock and went and curled up next to her. Miroku and Sango were also curious as to why Kagome didn't fight with Inuyasha. But Inuyasha was stunned for words. What the fuck is going on? She didn't sit me. But why I'm I sad? I should be happy, my face's not in the dirt. Why won't she sit me? What's going on? After a few moments, of staring into space, Inuyasha jumped up into a tree. When everyone else was all set for bed, Miroku banked the fire.

 

Blinking a few times, Inuasha's eyes readjusted to the lighting. He was watching the only woman who now held his heart and he started thinking, something he had been doing more, lately.

 

~Flashback~

 

 

 

 

Inuyasha stood up; Kikyo's soul catchers danced around the camp site.

 

And with a last look at Kagome, he ran off as fast as his feet could carry him.

“Once upon a time I did love you. But now I walk on this ground with my hatred and love for you.”

 

Taking her into his arms, yet again. “I'm sorry but you're not her, you're not Kikyo. Goodbye.” And with that he crushed the back of her clay skull into his chest breaking it.

 

~End Flashback~

 

 

 

 

 

 

I still can't believe I put Kikyo to rest. Kagome looks so peaceful. Shippo is so lucky to get to be held like that by her. I wonder what she would think if she knew I wanted to hold her and never let go? Kagome I adore you so much. No it's more than that, I love you. When did I start loving you? When did I stop thinking of you as only a shard detector? Or when did stop thinking you as Kikyo's reincarnation? You are nothing like her. Your extremely better. She can never be what you are; no matter how hard she tried. How can you put all that emotion into everything you do? I'm so sorry in took me so long to realize that, that……… “I love you?” Inuyasha whispered quietly.

Kagome's running; demons after her, ripping at her body left and right. Inuyasha desperately trying to reach her but there are so many. Then out of the corner of her eye she sees Sango fall down dead. “Sango!!!! NO!!!!” Putting a barrier up to protect herself, she watched in horror as Miroku's wind tunnel sucks him into horrid black void. “Miroku!!!” Kagome opened her barrier slightly to allow Shippo to come in, but as he gets near her, a demon swallows him whole, “Shippo!!!!!” Then Naraku comes over the hill and with that annoyingly evil laugh, “Ready to join your friends miko?” “Over my dead body” Shouted an enraged Hanyou.

 

“That can easily be arranged,” with a flick a tentacle went for his heart and through.

 

“INUYASHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !”

 

“Your turn miko.” Slowly Naraku made his way over to her, a knife in his hand.

Kagome opened her eyes and breathing a little deeper, she shook the images from her head. It was just a nightmare. Nothing more, everything's going to be alright. Kagome smiled, her thoughts sounded like her mother. As Kagome was reminiscing she heard very softly, “I love you?” Kagome looked up to see Inuyasha staring down at her. “Inuyasha?”

 

Fuck she heard me. What's going to happen now? Ok first things first: answer her. “Yeah?”

 

“Did you just say `I love you'?”

 

Honesty, “Yes I did.”

 

“Who do you love?” By now Kagome heart was pounding in her chest, although she knew the answer, she wanted to hear it on his lips.

 

With a deep sigh he said, “You.”

 

“Nani?'

 

“I said you. I love everything about you. Your scent, your eyes, your hair, your lips, your nose, your smile, your laughter, the way you do everything with all you have, the way you put everyone else before yourself, and, most importantly, you.”

Kagome couldn't believe it; the words she's been wanting, dreaming to hear, had finally been said. She was so moved she started to cry.

 

“Oi, don't cry, please don't cry, I'd rather be dead than to see you cry. Please don't cry.” He jumped down and held her close to him.

 

“I'm just so, so…….. there's just no word for how I feel.”

 

“It's ok Kagome I know a miko and Hanyou? What was I thinking? I'm sorry.”

 

Kagome was shocked. She wasn't appalled; far from it but he would believe that in a hundred years. Kagome looked at her beautiful Hanyou, in the moonlight, how sad he looked, she reached up and kissed him, and nibbled on his bottom lip wanting entrance; which he quickly gave. When they finally broke up for air, “Don't you ever think I'm appalled by you. I love you.”

 

Grabbing her he jumped into the trees and started running to a place no one else could hear. Putting her down gently, he kissed again a kiss full of passion. “I love you Kagome don't for get that. I'll become human for you.”

 

“No, I don't want you any other way than this.”

 

“I love you.”

 

“I love you more.” Kissing him hard on the lips.
