Prologue
Druids tower, Suffolk- England 1597
Clad in metal armour with long swords in their right hands and shields in their left, the guards of Druids Tower rushed to warn their Arch Druid of the coming danger. She was weak and ill and their was no one to protect orb hung around her slender neck. Even at death's door, the druid was as beautiful and fair as the young Queen.
Someone had to guard the life balance jewel. She knew the perfect one to become a guardian, to protect it. She knew her right hand druid which teach the chosen how to use her dormant powers, then to venture into the world where civilisation is a myth. The arch druid came from there herself until she decided to enter the developing world'.
The guards bashed down her wall, exhausted having to climb the wizard like spiral stairs.
‘Milady! They are here!’
The sick woman nodded her head. ‘Yes...I know’. As soon as she said those words, the witch demon emerged from her pine wooden doorway. He grinned at the druid, fangs showing from the corners of his mouth.
‘So...Oya, how rude of you to block my entrance, and here I thought we were finally reaching a truce’ he smiled. But Oya glared at him. ‘A druid never makes a truce with a hell-spawned demon’.
‘And yet I see some of your kind and humans interact, or bed with both demons and youkai’ He spat on the ground in disgust. ‘Disgusting, both your race and humans’
The demon ordered the two warriors he had with him to kill the human guards as he approached the sick woman, who couldn't move from her bed. The demon eyed her lustfully and sighed.
‘Too bad...such a pretty face, and yet you're life is coming to its end. He strokes her jaw, ignoring the glare she sent at him. ‘So much for the fun I had in my mind’
He took his hand away and opened his palm in front of her pale face. ‘Since you are too weak to protect it, hand over the Topaz’
Oya looked at the jewel around her neck before sighing and pulling it over her head. But she didn't drop it in his hand. He stepped back as the Topaz glowed and floated away from her slender fingers and in front of her face.
She grinned at the demon. ‘Only the one who is worthy and pure of heart can hold the Balance Topaz in their palms. You are not that person’. Oya's head fell back as her eyes rolled towards her skull. The druid was dead.
The Topaz remained floating in the hair. The demon gave a wicked grin as he made a grab for the jewel. Suddenly the Topaz glowed, and in a blink of an eye, flew out of the window towards the star-filled sky. The demons watched as the jewel flew towards the atmosphere. Then all of a sudden it exploded into such a beautiful light one would think it was a supernova. The jewel flew towards the East, directly to where the land of the rising sun stood.

Finally, it has begun. Something for my youth!

The demon lord howled in anger as the Topaz went further out of his reach. He turned to his guards.
‘Return to the lair. We'll make preparations there’
The two guards nodded once before exiting the room of Druids tower.
The lord walked towards Oya's corpse and whispered harshly.
‘You have failed...I will find that jewel and kill whoever holds it’

Japan 1597
Kagome signed as darkness finally came. Naraku was finally gone and the Shikon Jewel vanished after she purifed it. Miroku and Sango have yet to be wed, Shippo has grown over the year and InuYasha has matured.
‘Hey! Why are we stopping? The youkai can't be that far!’
Well somewhat. After the jewel's end, Youkai have been acting strange and attacked without warning. The over day the group found strange stones found in the youkai corpse and from what Miroku sensed, the stones were not made from the living. Only Kagome seemed to be the one who could destroy these stones.
Miroku sighed as InuYasha continued t moan, but Kagome had to stuff her giggle. She stood up, saying she needed to 'use the ladies room'. When she was about to do her businesses, something bright in the sky caught her eye. She could hear her friends’ gasps and shouts "what's that?" "Guys look"
The shooting star was falling and heading towards the ground...towards her!
Before Kagome could make a run for it, the light dimmed and the small object fell in her hands. The others came to see where the object fell, only to see the glowing topaz in her hands. ‘A star...has fallen into my hands’
Kagome heard a strong female voice in her head.
You are the next one to guard the Balance
The Topaz stopped and glowing and the last thing Kagome could remember was InuYasha running towards her.
To be continued.
