Zephyr: Yup yup! And guess what?! Spring Break is OFFICIALLY here for meh and that means major time to work on chappies! And read/buy new manga! I'm gonna buy the four Wish graphic novels… ::sighs dreamily:: I luff the artwork that CLAMP does… and Maki Murakami! Mah fav's are Gravitation, Chobits, and Suki really so far… I suggest you read them…

Soujiro: What about Rurouni Kenshin?!

Zephyr: If it doesn't have you in it I'm not reading it! Plus I've like recorded an episode of it and I cherish it cause yur in it!

Soujiro: ^-^

Zephyr: Soujiro got into the sugar bowl again… ::sighs::

Soujiro: I have a poem to tell yah!

Zephyr: Reaaaaaaaaaaly?

Soujiro: Yah, Roses are red, violets are blue, sugar is sweet and so are you!

Zephyr: Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww… ::starry eyes::

Soujiro: But the roses are wilted and the violets are dead, and the sugar bowls empty… just like yur head!

Zephyr: ::twitching madly::

Soujiro: You don't have to be all twitchy about it yah know…

Zephyr: ::still twitching:: Twitchy… twitchy… who's twitchy! I'm not twitchy… no no no…. ::starts foaming at the mouth::

Soujiro: Ummmm… Ze-chan… are yah alright?

Zephyr: ::falls backwards unconscious::

Chapter 3: Nightmare in Dreamland

~*Zephyr's POV*~

I walked into camp quietly to avoid waking anybody up. Looking around, I saw InuYasha dozing off in a tree and Miroku propped up against a log by the fire. I smiled warmly at the sight and tip toed over to the tent, as Kagome called it. I slipped in and walked to the corner where a sleeping roll had been laid out, my sleeping roll. I whispered my thanks to Kagome and Sango before sliding Shippou beside Kagome and slipping under the blankets of my bedroll.

~*Dream POV*~

Zephyr walked around forest of crystals, plants, trees, and water. To her side was Kagome, gently examining the ice crystals. Spinning around, Zephyr admired the crystal structures that surrounded them.

"They're sooooo pretty!" She awed as she plopped down on the ground.

"Yes, but how can they stay frozen like this… it's fairly warm in here…" Kagome questioned as she continued to examine a frozen tree.

"Who cares, I love ice and water. I can manipulate them with ease. It's a talent that I've learned… or maybe was born with, I can't say," Zephyr replied while making some water droplets dance around her. Dancing in step she swayed gently around in circles. Catching Kagome's hands, she dragged her to the center to join her. The two of them laughed and giggled as they twirled around in circles. After a while, they sat down on the moist floor and relaxed a bit.

"Where is everyone else?" Kagome wondered aloud.

"Yeah, that is strange, I haven't seen InuYasha or the rest of the gang at all… where are we?"

"I don't know…"

Zephyr picked herself up off the ground and looked around once more. It seemed like the sun was being absorbed into a box or something, because the light was draining from the forest. Soon it was pitch black and neither of the girls could see their hands in front of their faces.

"Kagome… where are you?"

"I'm here… where are you?"

~*Kagome's POV*~

I walked towards the demon-child's voice with her hands spread out in front of her. Grabbing a hold of someone's shoulder, she pulled herself forward.

"Zephyr?"

"Is that you Kagome?"

"Yes, my hands are on your shoulders."

"But, there's nobody touching my shoulders… are you sure you don't have my hands?" Zephyr cried out softly.

"Then who am I holding here…"

I slowly turned around the person she was holding and drew her hands up to the person's face. It was a male figure. He had a strong feel to him, his hair was incredibly soft and long. But there was something wet in it. It smelled like blood. In the corner of her eye, she spotted a small glowing crystal floating in midair.

"Kagome, can you see the light?"

"Yes, is that you? Zephyr?"

Zephyr's voice died out as the light fell. The crystal dropped to the ground and rolled to my feet, as if it was being moved there by someone's will. Picking it up, I brought it the figure's chest. The figure was wearing a red haori that was stained with blood. A long, deep cut covered the length of his chest. I slowly brought the crystal up the figure's face and inhaled sharply as I dropped the figure and backed away fast. The person turned out to be InuYasha and he was lying on the ground dead. Suddenly I felt tears springing to my eyes as I knelt down on the ground beside him.

"No…no…no…no…no…no… NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" I whispered before yelling and ran to his body and buried my face in his bloody chest.

I cried silently as I sat there, not caring that blood was getting in my hair and on my face. I just whispered `no' over and over again.

~*Zephyr's POV*~

I furiously searched for the crystal that had dropped on the crystal ground. It was my only source of light and I needed to find Kagome.

"Where is it!?" I mused as I moved about, ignoring the pain in my hand as it crashed against random rocks.

Finally giving up, I plopped down on the soft moist ground. I tried looking around but because of the lack of light it was a failed attempt. I felt so weak and alone. There was no one to comfort me, no one to guide me or help me if I fell. Brushing away the tears that were glazing my eyes, I stumbled to my feet and started off further into the darkness. Off in the distance I spotted a small glowing orb. With my curiosity piped, I moved over towards it. Upon reaching it, the surrounding environment melted away, changing into what looked like a castle memory. Looking to my side I spotted Kagome on the ground clutching a small doll or something.

"Kagome!" I cried out as I ran to her crouched figure.

"Zephyr?!" She jumped as she stared at my arriving figure.

"What're you holding?" I asked peering at the doll.

Kagome looked at the doll in her arms and gasped. She looked around quickly before shruggin it off and stood up.

"Where are we?" Kagome muse as she examined a nearby wall.

"Looks like a set right out of a castle or something… but where are the servants… the people who live here?" I replied while peeking into a room.

~*Normal Dream POV*~

The two girls walked down the hall hoping to find someone around. Turning around a corner they came face to face with two young children. One seemed about 8 years old while the other seemed aroun 4 or younger. A girl and a boy… the boy was older. The girl had silver hair with a blue underside and bright blue eyes. She was wearing a pink kimono with a cherry blossom tree and petals blowing around the tree and also had a black wolflike tail with two white connecting stripes in the middle and two black kitten ears with a white strip around the outsides of them poking out of her hair. The boy was a foot or two feet taller that her and had long silver hair. His golden eyes seemed to pierce into you soul as if he was looking into your heart. His face had two red slash marks gracing his face. He was wearing a white kimono with red bordering on the shoulders. Dragging behind him was a fluffy white tail that was about maybe 2 feet long at the most. Both children had a crescent moon gracing their foreheads.

"Well hello there! Do you live here?" Zephyr asked sweetly as she crouched down to their height.

The girl squeaked and hid behind her brother and peered out from behind him. Zephyr rubbed her head softly and looked at the boy.

"Yes, what do you want here? How did you get in here?" he asked.

"That's a very good question! I don't even know the answer to that one. I don't suppose you'll buy that I walked up to a glowing sphere and was transported here now will you?" Zephyr smiled and fell to the ground stupidly.

"Can you tell us where we are?" Kagome asked ignoring me on the ground.

"You're in the Western Castle. Everybody knows that."

"Really?! Cool!!!! I'm in a royal castle! This is soooooo cool!" Zephyr cheered and started off on another of her weird dances again. The others just stared in annoyance.

"Sooooo, what's your names?" Kagome asked sweetly and crouched down as well.

"My name is Sesshomaru, this is my sister Zephyr," The young boy introduced, "Who are you?"

"I'm Kagome and the speechless one is Zephyr-chan," Kagome smiled as she stared at the younger girl. "Is this yours? I found it earlier I guess."

Zephyr, the child, came forward and shyly took the doll from Kagome's grasp before returning to her brother's side.

"I didn't know that Sesshomaru-sama had a sister, I knew about InuYasha but not Zephyr," Kagome said before noticing the look slight disgust on Sesshomaru's face.

Zephyr, who was still shocked of the girl's name, snapped out of her transfixion and turned around at the arrival of two more people. It was an older woman and another child. This child was a young hanyou of the age of about 4 as well. He had silver hair with silver dog ears poking up out of his hair. His ever so curious golden eyes stared into Zephyr's. He was wearing a small red haori and pants and was clutching onto the woman's hand. The woman was a bit taller than Zephyr. She had long platinum hair that was pulled into a loose ponytail. She had oceanic blue eyes with a few specks of silver in them. She didn't have a crescent moon but a silver jewel with two triangular jewels on the bottom sides of them. She was wearing a blue kimono with an watery designs on it. And had a long silvery cat tail. The two of them approached the four of them silently.

"Oh hello, are you here to see my husband?" the woman asked.

Zephyr was now shocked. The shock of seeing a little mini self of her and someone older than her that looks a bit like her would shock any normal person. She crouched down and leaned her forehead against the ground and shook slightly. Kagome looked at her worriedly but pushed it aside and returned her gaze back to the lady in front of her and the little child that looked like InuYasha a bit.

"Ummm no, we're just lost at the moment…"

"Oh then I can offer you a room for the night if you'd like since it is getting late."

"That'd be nice miss…"

"Kieyakuu… my name is Kieyakuu." The lady answered. "Follow me please."

Kagome dragged Zephyr off the ground and off after Kieyakuu. Kieyakuu led the two of them to a small room with two futons set up. Sesshomaru and little Zephyr were finishing up with the beds when they walked in. They looked up to their mother just begging for a praise.

"Thank you Sesshomaru, Zephyr, good job now go and get ready for supper okay?"

"Okay Okaasan," the two replied and ran out through the door.

"Cute children," Kagome smiled as she watched them leave.

"Only one is mine though, Sesshomaru and InuYasha are not my children. Zephyr is my biological daughter. The other are my stepchildren." Kieyakuu corrected and rubbed InuYasha's head softly. "Well if you need anything, don't hesitate to ask."

For the rest of the `afternoon' Kagome relaxed while Zephyr sat upon a bed and stared off into space. At about midnight Kagome heard some commotion outside the door. Upon opening it she sharply gasped. It was complete utter chaos. There was fire everywhere and people were running about trying to escape enemies. Everywhere she looked there was bloodshed and death. Kagome grabbed Zephyr by the hand and dragged her through the halls looking for an exit. Everywhere seemed like a dead end. And finally down a hallway they spied Sesshomaru and Zephyr huddled together in the corner.

"Zephyr! Sesshomaru! You need to get out of here!" Kagome yelled as she ran up to them.

"But there's no where to go…" Sesshomaru replied and clutched his sister closer to him.

"You just need to get out of here!" Kagome said as she picked up Zephyr and grabbed Zephyr's hand and ran off with Sesshomaru following. They ran through the halls, avoiding the enemies that tried to delay their escape but their efforts were in vain. Just as they reached the exit, someone ran straight into Kagome and knocked Zephyr out of her grasp. She was picked up by a retreating soldier and carried off into the forest.

"Niisama!!!!!" She cried out as she was carried off.

"Ze-chaaaaaaan!!!!" Sesshomaru cried out as he tried to run after her.

Kagome grabbed him around the waist and dragged both him and the older Zephyr out of the burning building. As soon as they reached the forest edge, Kagome and Zephyr's surroundings disappeared and they jolted up, safe and sound in their bedrolls. InuYasha was sitting by Kagome's side and watching over her with concern. Sango was taking care of them both. Off of each of their necks, a small little worm like demon fell off and dried up.

"Where are we?!" Kagome cried and looked around her surroundings.

"You're where you were before you went to sleep a day ago," InuYasha informed and removed the wet rag from her lap.

"Ehhhh…"

"You've been asleep for almost two days, it was rather strange, we couldn't wake either of you…" Sango said as she wringed the water out of the rag on Zephyr's forehead. She still had a lost look on her face.

"What's up with the neko?" InuYasha asked as he waved his hand in front of her.

"She's been like that ever since that `dream'" Kagome replied staring sadly at Zephyr.

"That can happen if certain things occurred in that dream," A small flea demon added.

"Myouga!? Where have you been?" Kagome asked surprised at the flea's sudden arrival.

"Nevermind that, now what did you two see!"

"Well, we were in the western castle I'd say about maybe 50 years ago. There was three young children claiming to be Zephyr, Sesshomaru, and InuYasha. And their parents. Then we witnessed a war that destroyed the castle and Zephyr being carried away by the enemy.

"Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm… very strange and interesting…" Myouga pondered… "That worm creature is know as a Drisel bug. It is a psychic like demon that works with dreams. Mostly either nightmares or event that are hidden from a person that happened in the past. I'm guessing that Zephyr didn't know where she orignated so they probably just brought it upon her as a shock. She may be like this for a bit…"

Zephyr: YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! I'm done with one chapter!!!!!! Just 3 more to doooooooo!!!!!! YAY!!!!!

Soujiro: ^-^ You seem happy!

Zephyr: YUP!!!!!!!

Soujiro: Oooooooooookay then…

Zephyr: R+R!!!!!! Ja Ne!!!!
