<b><center>I've Found You Again</b></center>
One beautiful day, the Inuyasha group made their way to the Mirubi village to rest. Inuyasha was leading the way as always, and Kagome was chatting with Sango. They were giggling about something, and kept on staring at Miroku and Inuyasha. The boys noticed this, and stared at them back with a quizzical face. ' I wonder what they're talking about..' they both thought.
Shippo was riding in the basket on Kagome's bike. For some odd reason, last night he dreamt of Satsuki. He haven't had any dreams about her in a while. Satsuki was always a subject pondering about in his mind. He missed her. And, he felt bad for her when her brother died in war, yet Satsuki kept on believing that he would come home someday. Shippo really wanted to see her again, to hear her laughter and see her smile. Shippo smiled to himself. Is this how love felt? Is this the same warm, fuzzy feelings that Kagome gets whenever Inuyasha says her name? How about when Miroku risks his life for Sango. Now he understood how Kagome and Inuyasha felt, and how Sango and Miroku felt, too.
It was sunset now, and the sky turned pink -ish orange. Two doves flew together off into the distance. He looked around his surroundings. They have traveled far and almost close to their destination. The group would probably reach Mirubi village by night fall. He saw Sango and Miroku riding Kirara. Miroku was in front, and Sango was asleep, leaning on his back. Kagome was still pushing her bike, but Inuyasha was holding her hand. Shippo imagined himself with Satsuki, walking into the sunset, holding hands. (Oohh, how cute! n.n)
" Inuyasha, how long until we get to Mirubi village?" Shippo asked with a yawn.
" If you're tired you should go to sleep and we'll wake you when we're there," Inuyasha answered, surprisingly without a ruff voice. Shippo nodded and made himself comfortable in the basket. Kagome handed him a blanket from her backpack. Shippo traveled off to Dreamland.
<b>Shippo's Dream</b>
<i>Shippo was frolicking throughout the forest in search of a lake. He was admiring the meadow he was in. The flowers all seemed to be smiling at him.
A light breeze tugged at them, and one of the flowers came loose and landed at Shippo's feet. He picked it up and put it in his kimono. He continued on his way to find the lake. Something pink in the trees caught his eyes. He followed it. He searched behind trees and inside of bushes. He heard a soft giggle, then a number of twigs crack.
Shippo quickly turned around, but could not catch a glimpse of the pink colored something. He continued looking. It seemed forever when he gave up searching. He would just have to continue looking for the lake, then. Suddenly, he heard another soft laugh and turned around. There stood Satsuki with a smile on her face.
"Hi, Shippo!" she greeted. With the same smile, she ran towards him...</I>
<b>End Shippo's Dream</b>
At that moment, Shippo was awakened by Miroku with a bowl of rice his hand. " Would you like some dinner, Shippo-chan?" Shippo rubbed his eyes with his tiny fists. He was sort of mad at Miroku for waking him up, in the middle of such a wonderful dream. He wondered what would happen if Shippo stayed sleeping just a little longer.
Yawning once more, he gladly accepted the bowl of rice. He grabbed a pair of chopsticks and began to eat his meal. Moments after his finshed, he took the last bowl of miso soup from Inuyasha.
An angered hanyou stared at Shippo as he slurped down the soup. He'd get Shippo for it later, because right now, he couldn't do any sudden movements, or else he might wake the sleeping Kagome in his arms. Shippo looked down at the half empty bowl of soup in his hands. He could see his reflection. Shippo shook it around a little and an image of Satsuki reappeared. He set down the bowl. 'I must be half asleep' the kitsune thought as Satsuki's cheerful voice sounded in his head,
<i>"Hi Shippo!"...</i>
Shippo finished the soup, got up, and brushed himself off, even though there was no dirt on his kimono. " I'm going out to take a walk," he announced and let everyone know. Sango, Miroku, and Inuyasha nodded. Kagome still laid sleeping in the hanyou's arms. She moved around and clutched his kimono like a small baby clutching onto its mother.<hr>
It was dark and cold outside. The small houses shone with a faint light from inside. Even though it was very late, some children still stayed outside playing. Shippo wandered throughout the village.
He admired the buildings and crops, they seemed to be in well condition. He stopped by a small cart that sold treats. Shippo bought himself a green tea ice cream. Little did he know, a special someone was following him.
<b>Satsuki's POV</b>
I watched him walk around the village. I haven't seen him in a while, but I couldn't stop thinking of him. I missed him a lot ever since we first met. I saw as he bought himself an ice cream and joined in a game of 'Kemari'.
He stopped playing and began walking towards the meadow. He's kneeling down now, looking at the flowers with shining blue -green eyes. I love his eyes because they're such an odd colour. He’s picking the prettiest flowers in the flower bed. I wonder what he’s going to do with them. I have a small feeling at the bottom of my heart that he would give them to me. If he ever saw me. I wished I could see him, but its just my problems with being shy. For some reason I was frightened. I still have the stone flower. The one he said would work. (I don’t think Inuyasha let Shippo take the jewel shard in the episode, but in my version, Shippo let Satsuki <i>keep</I> the jewel shard.) I was convinced stone flowers don’t work, but I could still believe.
Oh, no! I think he saw me. He’s looking around sniffing the air. He got up and began running towards me. Why’d I have to be such a coward? Why can’t I just look him in the face and say hello? All I can do now is run.
<b>Shippo’s POV</b>
I saw her, or at least I think it was her. I saw something pink; a young girl wearing a bright pink kimono. A heard a small gasp as I chased her. She turned a corner, and I did, too. She was fast and I was getting tired. It seemed she was getting tired too because she was slowing down. I wonder why Satsuki is in this village and not in her home town. Was she kicked out? Did she have to walk all the way here? If so, I felt very bad for her. Also, a small question ringed in my mind, “Why is she running? Doesn’t she want to see me too?”
She turned lots of corners and went inside a large building. She’s smart, I thought. I stood there, looking around for her. I caught her scent and followed it. I went into a room and found her. She tripped, and was now holding onto her ankle. Oh, great! It was my fault she hurt herself. Instead of an angered face, a small smile was graced across her lips. “Hi Shippo,”

Satsuki is the first girl who Shippou "falls in love with". She is a girl who lives by herself because she believes that her brother (who died in the war) is going to come back to her some day. The kids of the village make fun of her and torment her about her brother, but Shippou scares them off and befriends her. When he finds out that she has a "stone flower" (fake jewel shard) on which she makes her wishes, he decides to bring her a real shard to wish upon. Inuyasha, however, stops him. Later, a tokage youkai impersonates her brother in order to get the jewel shards from Inuyasha and company, but he is easily defeated by them.
