Kagome was swinging. That's right, she was eighteen years old and she was swinging like a little kid. She kept on swinging, that is until she fell. She didn't just fall onto no one. She fell onto some one. She fell onto someone who she hadn't seem for few years, though he hadn't seen her for a little over 500 years.

Briefly while she was falling onto to this some one, she wonders if he remembers her. She knew that now he would always remember her. While she was wondering if he remembered her or not, the swing decides to revisit Kagome by hitting her head. The swing's loving hit seem to make the world spin. She saw little Sesshoumarus that began to dance around her while her world fell black.

 

* Flashback Earlier that day *

 

“Kagome you got in!” her mother shouted.

Kagome mentally groan her head and looked at the clock. She stared at it for a good minute, wondering why on earth would her mother wake her up at the unholy hour of eight. Footsteps began to thunder up the stairs as her mother's voice called for her to get up. Kagome got out of bed to greet her mother at her bedroom door.

“Kagome you got in to Tokyo University.” Her mother exclaimed.

Kagome just stared at her blankly until what her mother was saying register in her head.

“WHAT!” Kagome apparently had decided to wake the rest of the household with her yell of disbelieving.

“No need to shout dear. I made your favorite for breakfast in celebration.”

“I got in.” Kagome chanted as she raced down the stairs to her favorite meal.

During breakfast, her mind began to travel back to the past. Ever since the last time she came back home the well had closed. She knew that she couldn't live in the past forever, both mentally and physically. She knew that they would want her to go on with her life. She knew that they would want her to be happy so Kagome was going try her hardest to make the best of life. She was going to be strong for them.

She missed them dearly though all of them even Sesshoumaru. Heck she would even be happy to see that ugly old toad again just as long as she had someone from the past with her. She hoped that they were living or lived a good life. Miroku and Sango could finally be together without fear of the void in that once existed in Miroku's hand. InuYasha would be happy with Kikyo or possible some else. InuYasha deserved happiness. They all did even Sesshoumaru's toad.

“Hello any body in planet Kagome today?” came her little brother Souta as he waved his hand in front of her face. “I guess I get all of Kagome's food if she doesn't object soon.” He said with a fake sigh as he reached for his sister's food.

“What? No it's my food not yours.”

“I still can't believe you got in sis.”

“Yeah neither could I.” Kagome was amaze not only did she almost failed freshmen year; she had manage to get into the top ten of her class in her senior year. It was hard though.

Kagome's friends called through out the day to celebrate her. Finally after supper they had stopped and right after supper Kagome had gotten the urge to go to the park too.

There was no better way to celebrate a victory of getting in to college then to swing even if it was getting dark.

 

*end of Flashback*

*Sesshoumarus pov earlier that day*

 

Sesshoumaru was bored. Sesshoumaru had been bored for a couple of decades now. Sesshoumaru had found it was easy to hide the fact that he was youkia by sampling become so rich that no body really cared and if they did they just left him alone. Most youkia had gone to into hiding, either living the high low life or disappearing into nature.

Sesshoumaru missed the past where youkia ruled, where things were more exciting, where the air was clean, where Rin was alive. He knew she would die. She was after all mortal. His phone began to ring. Sesshoumaru look at who the caller was. `No not him, anyone but him.' He thought to his self as he prepares to talk with the annoying kit who he had ended up raising after the miko disappear. He picked up the phone.

“Sesshoumaru.” Came the kit's voice in a sing song matter. “Guess what? Come guess.”

`This Sesshoumaru does not have the time to guess. Tell kit what is it you wish for me to know.”

“Ah fun vampire. Well since your no fun I'll guess I have to tell you but you have to promise not to freak out.”

“Kit when has this Sesshoumaru ever freaked out.”

“Well there was that time when I ruined one of your favorite toys.”

“Kit your wasting time get to the point and tell me why you call.”

“Fine be a grouch. I don't see why I should tell you now since you were so mean to me.”

“Kit” Sesshoumaru said in a warning voice.

“Fine! I'll tell. I just saved a bunch on money by switching to Gecio.”

Sesshoumaru sweat dropped. “Kit was this, what you want to tell, because you just wasted a bunch of my important time.”

“Feh. Sure I did. Like you had anything better to do. Really I bet you were really bored before I called.”

Sesshoumaru didn't reply.

“Ha. I was right. You can't say anything cause I was right. Score one for Shippo zero for Sesshoumaru. Oh and Sesshoumaru could you meet me at Sunset park today at about eight pm.”

“This Sesshoumaru will see to it.” Sesshoumaru hang up after having enough with the kit.

 

*end of flashback*

 

Sesshoumaru starred at the person who just had land on him. He had lost his balance while he heard an odd click of something. Sesshoumaru's back soon meet the dirt while his face meets the top of the hair of someone's head. Another click was soon heard. Sesshoumaru decided to ignore the click though he may latter regret it.

Sesshoumaru began to get up surprisingly he gentle held on to the person who had landed on top of him. When Sesshoumaru finally saw that the person was a girl, and after many more clicks, he realized that the girl was knocked out cold. After closer inspection he almost dropped the girl. It couldn't be her could it be. One of the few people who he had learn the name of and respected it. It could not be Kagome.
