A Thought Away Chapter 3

A/N: sorry again for that lil cliff hanger…but I gotta do that for REVIEWS!!! Please if you read this fic…can you jush write up something? I am dying to know the reader's reaction. I am extremely sorry if you think the chapters are too short…but unfortunately I can't think of much…and I am easily confused…

Sorry if you think it's too fluffy…BUT IT'S MY FIC!

Disclaimer: Why do people write them? It's not like your going to sue a writer for writing their dreams? But then again some people are foolish, and have nothing better to do and look forward to. I am not stealing Rumiko Takahashi's idea…just adding to it…if you gotta problem let's take it out side…you got that?

Now we must continue the pandemonium we started.

*~*~*~*~ LaSt TimE around ~*~*~*~*

Kagome and Sesshoumaru started fighting arts classes, which I believe is in the style of Kung Fu. Unexpectedly they have an encounter at the hot spring. Things are just warming up between the "couple". Sesshoumaru smells and feels Kagome's arousal and excessive heat coming from her. He stares at her in their current situation…and feels the same way too…but lucky for him…she's not a dog demon.

Now:

Kagome was in shock. `Why is he staring at me that way? Is something wrong with my face? Oh shit! I'm such an idiot. UGH! This cannot be real! Please tell me this is a nightmare! My boobs are showing and I'm fuckin' naked!' Kagome was quick to cover her bosoms.

`Oh shit. Damn it! I had a perfect view too! A perfect view of her nude beauty…not that she wasn't beautiful before. Something's wrong. Why does she smell aroused and scared? Is it I? Score! I finally, after working so hard, won her favor…but is it love?' Sesshoumaru was now confused. Would Kagome fall head over heels for a demon lord like him? He hoped that somewhere in her heart that she would save a place for him…or is it nothing but a fantasy? One way love would never work…he knew that very well and experienced that too…once. Rejection is so powerful and could change a person forever.

"Um…is something wrong Master Sesshoumaru?" Kagome barely said, thank goodness for sensitive dog-ears.

"No. Nothing. I just smell your aro- AHEM. I mean you're around environment. We better get a move on. Rin is probably complaining and waiting. Well speaking of Rin, Will you accompany her tomorrow to my garden…she is longing for a companion like you. A beautiful girl, I mean woman like you…Do you understand?" Sesshoumaru said hesitantly.

Kagome was off to dreamland…but she did hear the last part. She blushed inwardly. `Wow. I meet the Doggie Master's standards for beauty in a mortal woman…that is very high. But I don't care. All I care for is for him to be mines. If only his manly body, his perfect body was mine…where I can feel how it feels to be loved…if he only felt the same way as me.' She sighed. `If he was mine, I would…bad Kagome, BAD, BAD, BAD!'

"Huh? Oh yes, sorry Master. I am off. Since it was always ladies first, and I'm a lady…" Kagome continued babbling. Little did she know of what her Master was contemplating.

`Oh yes, you are…one hot sexy lady. If only I will be the first to take your virginity. If you only knew how much want and pain you cause me. Argh! What the hell is wrong with me? Why would I want a human bitch like that so much?' Sesshoumaru mentally kicked himself.

"Well you get the damn picture! But watcha gotta do is close your eyes and let me out! I'm starting to prune! Remember…NO PEEKING!!!!" Kagome said playfully. `Wouldn't he have enough dignity to control himself? He should.' Kagome said to herself.

Of course Sesshoumaru didn't let her out that easy. As Kagome was going up the stairs, Sesshoumaru put his hands on her hips (quickly) and pulled her down with his brawny hands. Kagome screamed "SESSHHOOOOMARRUU!" in her high-pitched voice. Sesshoumaru winced at the highness.

SPLASH! Kagome submerged from the water. `Payback time!' Sesshoumaru didn't expect the weak girl to do what she was about to do. Kagome splashed Sesshoumaru and pushed him as she gasped for air. Of course they were both unaware that they were naked. They continued in this manner for 15 minutes. Suddenly Kagome just fell of exaustion and landed on Sesshoumaru's chest.

They hugged for what seemed eternity. Then Kagome went for a kiss and just blurted out "I love you Sesshoumaru. More then you will ever know. You make me feel so complete. I am contented with you."

Sesshoumaru's jaw dropped. He won her heart. "I am sorry for treating you like a slave. You Kagome made my life new. I'm so much happier since you came. And I love you too…My Kagome." He stared into her eyes and brushed the hair of her face with his hand, then kissed her. They stared at each other tenderly. Kagome stopped the awkwardness. She pulled away from his tight grip on her hips and climbed up the stairs silently. She ran to her room in a towel to change and dry up. Sesshoumaru did the same.

~*~*~In Dining Room~*~*~

Kagome poked at her yakitori with tare*. She knew it was delicious because Rin and Sesshoumaru gobbled it up. She didn't have a good meal like this in a long time. But she felt awkward. She still didn't know how Sesshoumaru can recover so quickly after the incident in the spring.

Rin broke the chewing noises. "Kagome oneesan, are you well? You are not eating the yakitori. Is it not good? Cause it's my favorite. What's troubling you? Do you want to talk to me later?" Sesshoumaru's eyes caught hers. He knew what she was thinking about…him.

"Oh Rin, it's nothing. Can I please be excused Master Sesshoumaru?" Kagome said reluctantly. "Surely. You may be excused. This meal is over. NOW!" Sesshoumaru said in a frightening voice. Rin started to cry, she immediately ran to her room. "I am so sorry, Lady Kagome. It's when you look troubled really gets me. Please tell me." Sesshoumaru pleaded. "Oh Master, can we please continue this conversation in my chambers?" Kagome asked. "Your wish will come true. Servants! Clean this mess immediately!" and with saying that Sesshoumaru guided Kagome to her chambers.

"Sesshoumaru, I know that our love grew in such a short time, but I am not ready to be your mate. I would like to kill InuYasha for betraying me first. That is my goal. Then gaining the Shikon no Tama for my unfortunate mortal friends. Please Sesshoumaru, will you help me continue with my fighting? You cannot believe how much pain your mutt for a brother has caused me."

"Lady Kagome, of course I will help you. You know how much I dread the half-breed has caused me. And you must not rush love. It will come. Just wait and see. Would you like to accompany Rin and me to the garden? I really owe her an apology."

"Why are you so kind to me? Am I nothing but a burden to you? I really should be leaving soon if you want. I'm just another dreadful human? Why do you love me so much? Will I really be your mate?" Kagome asked nervously.

"You are never a burden to me. You are so cheery and never put me down. I don't dread humans; it's just my father's concubine whom I hate. Now let's go to the garden!" Sesshoumaru said. He grabbed her hand and they laughed as they walked outside to the garden.

*~In The Garden~*

Rin and Kagome giggled together as they played "giggle-go-peek". The objective of the game is to find the person who you are looking for that tickle her, until she finishes the song "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star", they had a amusing time playing it while it lasted. They were both panting and decided to sit on the marble bench. Kagome sat with her legs hanging down and Rin leaning on Kagome's thigh, Sesshoumaru was sitting next to Kagome and Kagome leaned her head on his shoulder. Two minutes later, Sesshoumaru looked at the mortal girls. They were both snoozing away. He smiled, something he never does. It was comforting him to see the two and only people he loved most were sleeping impeccably. He carried them both to their chambers. First he put Rin in her little bed, then left her room. He still carried Kagome. He stared at her. He wondered why people who are so evil look so innocent while sleeping. He kicked that thought out of his head.

He put Kagome gently on her canopy bed. He decided to take a nap next to her. Five minutes later, the demon lord was snoring away to dreamland.

Kagome woke up two hours later. She couldn't believe her eyes. She caught the great Master sucking his thumb holding a pillow…sleeping next to her. She decided to play with his hair, tying it into small little braids. She remembered how her mother used to put her hair in pigtails and braids. Trips down memory lane made her feel miserable. She never enjoyed her childhood. People stared at her queerness, and wouldn't understand how such a beautiful child could be so clever and petulant…she didn't understand why she left her life in the future to settle to live in the past and hopefully get married to a demon lord. She didn't care…all the possible boyfriends in the future was Hojo…such an average guy. She wanted more then average, Kagome wanted to try a new thing, that's why she loved the Feudal Era. She hated when she thought too deep. It kills your brain, that's why she failed psychology. Human brains are too darn complicated to ever understand. No one could ever understand her.

Sesshoumaru felt the chill of Kagome's hair playing go down his spine. He never felt this way. He continued to close his eyes. He liked it whenever she touched him. `Such a lovely girl. How would she ever think of me as charming. No one would. I'm just a cruel lord with an ice-cold heart. People even think of my face as hideous, though no one will say so in my face. I hate self-pity. But at least I'm not a selfish, useless hanyou like InuYasha. He has no worth. I want him to die. Surely if I have Kagome as a partner, it will really crush his poor heart to kill him. That is my dream. To succeed my father's legacy.' Sesshoumaru opened his eyes and stared at Kagome. Kagome was dumbstruck. She stared back to. Their faces came closer, and closer. Suddenly, Rin invaded the two lovebirds.

"Sesshy-sama? ::gasp:: What are you guys doing? Sesshoumaru-sama why are you sucking Kagome-oneesan's face?" Rin squeaked.

"Huh? Oh yes Rin, next time please knock. We were talking. We weren't sucking each other's faces. We were just staring. When you stare, you say more then when you speak. I mean-" Kagome said with hesitation.

"Rin, next time please do not disturb. We were having a private conversation! Promise to knock before anything. Understand?" Sesshoumaru said gravely.

"Yes Sesshoumaru-sama. I promise. Please forgive me. Will you Kagome and Sesshoumaru?" Rin said with innocence.

"Fine. We will now have supper. Leave immediately!" Sesshoumaru barely growled.

The two girls ran away. The ran to the dining room at record speed.

*~*~*Dining Room*~*~*

The "family" enjoyed their little meal. They had miso soup, kata-yaki-soba, oyako-don, gyu-don, and kappa-maki.* They were all full. Their meals were delicious. Kagome for the first time gobbled it all up.

"Rin what are you learning from your private tutor? Does he teach well? And where's Jaken? I haven't seen him in a long time. Not that i want to see him." Kagome asked with interest.

"Oh Kagome! I love my tutor. His name is Sensei. I am learning how to read and write Kanji. It's so complicated. All these sounds are lines are driving me silly! But I love math. I'm learning how to subtract and add. It's so easy. My handwriting is so messy though, oneesan will you help me? And Jaken is on a vacation. I told him he need to get away from me. He's stinky and ugly. I don't like him! I hate his companionship. Seshoumaru-sama, can I have a new companion?" Rin wondered how she said all of this.

"Rinny poo, sooner or later you will get used to reading and writing in Kanji. It was hard for me at first, but I got used to it. I will help you. Just knock and come to my chamber. As for your companion, I can do it. I will be your companion for 25% of the day. The other 75% will be with your nanny. Is that okay Master Sesshoumaru?" Kagome replied.

"No. It's not okay Lady Kagome. You will be very busy. I have a lot for you to do. Is that clear? And as for Jaken, he's coming tommorrow." Sesshoumaru said in his monotone voice.

"Yes Master Sesshoumaru." The two girls replied in unison.

"You are now dismissed from the table!"

Yet again the two girls pushed their chairs in unison. And left out the door with finesse.

*~*~*In The Hallway*~*~*

"I'm really sorry Rin. But it's the master's choice. Do you understand?" Kagome said as she cupped the little girl's face.

"I'll try to. But why does he have to be so mean. I understand that he saved me and that I should be grateful and love Sesshy-sama, but I don't want to be with my nanny. I'm okay oneesan." Rin sobbed, she really wanted Kagome to be her new companion, but she knew she couldn't get whatever she wanted.

"Thank you for understanding. I really care about you Rin. Wherever you may be, and you need my help or companionship, just knock. Okay?" Kagome brushed Rin's cheek. This action always comforted her when she was a little girl. How much Rin was like her! The same hair color, same height, Kagome could go on and on. She hated her childhood.

"Goodnight, Kagome oneesan! I love you!" Rin hugged Kagome and Kagome squeezed back. They went their own ways in unison.

A/N: hoped you enjoyed it. I'm tired out from our school's little dance. I danced for 2 hours straight! WOO HOO!

*In the beginning for the lunch in the dining room, those meals are what I ate at a restaurant called Osaka. It's a really cool ambiance. There's also a traditional Japanese dining room, where you have to sit traditionally with no shoes.

**The Foods:

miso soup: you all should know what that is.

Kata-yaki-soba: crunchy fried noodles.

Oyako-don: chicken and egg on rice.

Gyu-don: thinly sliced cooked beef on rice.

Kappa-maki: Your basic California roll.
