"Come Inuyasha!" Inuyasha stopped playing in the creek and rolled down his hamaka.
"But mother do we have to leave now?" His mother nodded. Sighing he took his mothers cold hand."Your hands cold mother."
"You'd have catched cold if you stayed in the creek any longer." He knew his mother told him was only half true...the other half was a lie. His mother walked gracefully with her intricate kimono layers swaying around her body. In hand she walked with her child towards their 'home'. 'Mother's hand feels cold...why does it feel this?' "Inuyasha is something..." she beagain a cackling cough.
"Mother are you alright?" She shooed his quesion off.
"I'm quite alright." Inuyasha watched his mother lift her kimono delicately to avoid it snagging on the bridge. The creamy white of her palm gripped the old tattered bridges railing and raised to not harm her hand. Trotting horses sped in the distance."Inuyasha we must make haste!"
"Hn." It was better not to question his mother. His speed surpassed his mothers and her weight beagain to drown him down to the ground.
"NOOO!" His mother scooped him into her arms. And ran as fast as the kimono would allow.
"Who's there?" Inuyasha tried to get a look at their pursuer.
"Don't look. Shut your eyes!" He squinted his eyes shut and held them tightly. Inuyasha's attentive ears could here his mothers labored breathing, she was beagaining to slow down. Whoever was pursueing them he tried to abide by his mothers wishes. Slowly his eyes slowly fell open and he turned to see their attacker. The amber eyes on his face absorbed the figure flying above him.
"A...ni...ki?"
