Chapter 5: Another Encounter

As Kagome screamed, a hand quickly clasped over her mouth, quieting her. She felt an arm encircling her waist and felt a hard chest. She felt cool breath on her neck, sending shivers through her body.

"Kag, its only me." came a gruff voice. (Don't worry my reviews, Yasha's very OCC in this one, except to Kouga, Kikyo, and Naraku)

Kagome quickly calmed down and relaxed in his arms.

"Now. If I left go of your mouth, will you be quiet?" Yasha asked. He felt Kagome nod and he let go of her mouth. Kag turned around to look at Yasha. He let go of her. The next thing he knew…

"OW!! Why'd you do that for!?" Yasha yelled because Kagome hit him in the back of the head.

"You scared me to death, you jerk!!" Kag yelled. Yasha flattened his ears from her screaming.

"You don't have to yell, Kagome! I'm right here!" Yasha whined. Kagome looked at Yasha. She looked at his cute ears and had the urge to pet them.

His ears are sssoooo cute! I have to touch them! she thought. Her urge got the best of her and she reached out and began rubbing his ear.

Yasha felt Kag's hand touch his ear and instinctively, his ear moved away from her touch. He then felt her start rubbing his ear and couldn't help himself. The sensation that she was giving him pleased him greatly.

As Kag rubbed his ear, she heard a rumbling noise coming from Yasha. It was small, but grew louder and louder. She then heard him growling. She thought he was angry with her so she pulled her hand away. Yasha stopped growling (WE know he was purring. CUTE!!) And looked at Kag with confused eyes.

"Why'd you stop?" he asked.

"I heard you growling and I thought you were angry that I was playing with your ears." She said.

Yasha looked at Kagome and chuckled. Kagome heard him chuckling.

"Why are you laughing?" she asked. She puffed and placed her hands on her hips. Yasha stopped and looked at her.

"I was growling because it felt very good. I don't let people touching my ears. Most of the people who had, either pulled them or shout in them."

"Sorry. I think they're very cute." Kag said. Yasha blushed, as did she.

"Hey, dog-turd! What are you doing with MY woman!" came an annoying voice from behind.

Both Yasha and Kag groaned and turned to see Kouga behind them. Kagome was getting angry by the second cause Kouga was so thickheaded.

"I'm/she's not YOUR woman, Kouga!!" both Yasha and Kag said in unison. Before they knew it, Kouga had a struggling Kagome in his arms.

"Of course you are, Kagome." He said.

"Let me go, you bastard!!" Kag said, struggling to get away from him. She tried kicking and hitting, but that didn't work.

"Let her go, Kouga!!" Yasha yelled. Both Kouga and Kagome turned to Yasha.

"Why should I? She's MY woman!" he said.

While he was distracted, Kagome kneaded him between his legs. They all heard him yowl in pain. That was all Kag needed. As soon as she was free, she ran to Yasha's side.

He turned and sniffed her.

"You ok?" he said looking her over to see if she had any bruises or cuts.

"I'm alright, Yasha." Kag assured him. He stopped and looked how close he was. He blushed and moved a little away.

"That's it!!!" they heard Kouga growl. They both turned to see a hairy Kouga in his wolf form (Think of Sess when he turns into his dog form, but Kouga's brown, instead of white).

Both Yasha and Kag stood, ready for the attack. Kouga then charged at Yasha. Yasha quickly grabbed Kagome by the waist and jumped in the air as Kouga charged. Yasha landed on a nearby tombstone.

"What's his problem?" Kag asked.

"The wimpy-wolf can't control his demon side." Yasha answered. He looked at Kagome.

They heard a howl and turned to see Kouga running towards them. Since Yasha knew Kouga wouldn't hurt Kagome, he jumped down and ran away from her.

"Inuyasha!" he heard Kag call.

He turned to see her looking at him.

"He's after me, not you!" he answered.

As he talked, he didn't notice Kouga running up behind him until it was too late. Kouga rushed forward and slammed into Yasha, sending him a hundred feet in the air and as he feel back down, he landed on a tombstone.

"INUYASHA!!" Kag screamed. She jumped off the tombstone and ran to his side. He was bleeding everywhere. He had cuts on his face and his shirt was ripped. As she neared Yasha, she felt herself being lifted of the ground.

"AHH!" she screamed. She turned to see Kouga's red eyes looking at her. "LET ME GO!"

*Yasha*

Yasha heard Kagome scream his name and heard the pain and worry ness in her voice. He saw her running to him and Kouga picking her up. With that, his anger for Kouga increased. He felt his demon blood boiling from anger and the slight protectiveness that he had for Kagome.

His eyes started turning red and purple streaks started forming on each side of his face. The demon in him screamed to be released and he welcomed the demon. Soon, he was back on his feet. He saw Kagome struggling to get out.

"Mate…trouble." was the only words that were said.

*Kagome*

Kag was struggling to get out of his grip. He was very strong and even though with her slayer strength, she was no match for him.

"You shouldn't be fighting me, Kagome." Kouga said.

"Let my mate go, wimpy-wolf!" came a familiar voice. Both turned to see Yasha, standing there. His clothes were ripped and his eyes were….
