Just to remind you, (Thanks to Catty, Catherine!) Vampires who are half human CAN be in the daylight without being burnt or dust, but they can still be harmed. Crosses, stakes, garlic, and holy water can harm them. It's the full-fledged vamps that CAN'T be in the daylight.

Chapter 13

Almost Raped

*Inuyasha and Kagome*

Inuyasha looked at Kagome and saw that she was indeed telling the truth. "I'm going to stay away from Naraku. I just need to know why." Inuyasha sighed. He let go of Kagome and turned his back to her. "I noticed that she was avoiding me when we were dating more and more. She wouldn't hang with my friends and I. I noticed her spending more time with Naraku."

Kagome wrapped her arms around his waist and laid her head on his back. "What happened?" Inuyasha continued. "When she WAS with us, I smelt Naraku's scent on her. When I asked her about it, she said he had been "flirting" with her, but I knew better. I knew she was seeing him behind my back. ~he growled~ After she was taken to the hospital from the injuries my demon did, I broke up her and she said she was glad. She went straight to Naraku."

Kagome tightened her arms around him, trying to give him some of her courage. Inuyasha laid his hands on top of hers, letting her know he appreciated it a lot. "I knew then that we were through. I blame Naraku. And now," he said and turned around and wrapped his arms around Kagome. "I know he'll try to take you from me." Kagome snuggled closer to him. She then felt wetness on her hair. She looked up to see Inuyasha was crying. She smiled warmly and wiped his tears.

She cupped his face in her hands. "I'll never betray you like Kikyo did, Inuyasha. I'm not like her. I never betray those whom I love dearly." Inuyasha smiled and kissed her passionately. After a few moments, they broke apart. "Thank you, Kagome. That means a lot to me." They then kissed and Kagome went into the school. She watched as Inuyasha got his helmet on, got on the cycle, and rode off. She saw him wave to her and she waved back. She then walked inside.

*Classroom*

Kagome walked into the classroom and was bombarded with questions from her friends Eri, Arimi and Yuka. After answering their questions, class started. The teacher asked everyone to do a ten page report on Egypt. (My subject!) It was then lunch time. Kagome's friends asked her if she'd sit with them, but she said she waned to be alone.

*Lunchroom*

Kagome was walking through the lunchroom when Hojo stopped her. "Hello, Kagome." He said. "Hello, Hojo." She greeted and tried to walk on, but Hojo wouldn't let her. "Where are you going?" "I'm going to get my lunch and eat by the Sakura tree." "Great! I'll join you." Hojo said and ran for his lunch. Kagome quickly ran to another spot, hoping Hojo wouldn't see her. He didn't.

*Sakura Tree*

She sat under another Sakura tree, hoping that Hojo wouldn't find her. She looked around and didn't see any sign of him. She sighed happily and started eating. As she ate, she saw a shadow hover over her. She looked up to see Naraku looking down at her. "Hello, Kagome." Kagome put on a fake sweet smile. "Hello, Naraku."

"Do you mind if I join you?" But he didn't let her answer. He sat next to her and very close to her at that. Kagome shivered from fear. As she got up, a hand grabbed her wrist. She knew Naraku grabbed her. She gasped from the pain. She tried prying her hand out from his grip, but couldn't. "Let go!" Kagome said with anger etched in her voice. Naraku stood up and dragged her to a dark alleyway.

(This next scene will deal with almost being raped. If you don't want to read it, scroll down until see "Inuyasha; Ally" written in bold. Just fair warning!)

*Dark Ally*

Kagome struggled, but couldn't loosen his grip on her. He then threw her to the ground and got on top of her. She struggled to get him off her, but he slapped her hard.

"Stop squirming, bitch!" She didn't and kept up her thrashes. "GET OFF ME!! HELP!!" With that, she was slapped and punched very hard. It caused her to bleed. She groaned from the pain. Naraku then ran his hands over her body, violating her. She slapped him and earned another slap. "Shut your mouth, you slut. You're…mine!" Kagome gasped as she felt him rip her shirt and pants off. He then grabbed her breasts and squeezed them. Kagome yelled. "STOP! IUNYASHA!!"

*Inuyasha*

Inuyasha was just riding back to the mansion when he felt pain in his stomach. He knew Kagome was in danger. He quickly turned his cycle and headed back to the school. "Hold on, Kagome! I'm coming. I'll kill whoever has touched you." He growled. His eyes, turning from amber to red.

*Kagome*

By now, she was unconscious. Naraku took her under ware off her. Then he started taking his pants and boxers and was about to enter her, when…

"GET THE HELL OFF MY MATE!" roared a voice.

(It's over! I had a hard time writing that scene. I didn't want to, but if I didn't, Kagome and Inuyasha wouldn't hate Naraku as much as I wanted them too. Again, I'm sorry! I promise; NO MORE "ALMOST RAPE" SCENES!)

*Inuyasha; Ally*

Inuyasha was now in demon form, looking upon the site that made even more furious. There, Naraku was forcing himself on Kagome, who was unconscious. He smelt blood that was hers and growled deeply. "Get the hell out of here, half-breed. This doesn't concern you!" Naraku said and as he was about to go back to what he was doing, he was punched off of Kagome, with a crouched Inuyasha over Kagome. He was protecting her.

"NEVER…TOUCH…HER...AGAIN!" Then Inuyasha leapt at Naraku. Inuyasha slashed at Naraku, making very deep cuts. He then punched Naraku. He grabbed his collar and threw him against the wall. Naraku was dangling on the wall with Inuyasha's hand around his throat. "IF...I...EVER SEE YOU NEAR KAGOME; I...WILL…KILL YOU!" With that, he threw Naraku out of the ally. He then returned to his mate and looked her over.

She was starting to wake. Her eyes opened. She looked and saw a shadow looking down at her. She then remembered Naraku and what he was doing. She slashed at her "attacker", but knowing it was Inuyasha. He wrapped his arms around her and rocked her.

"Kagome, it's me." She recognized his voice and immediately calmed down. She then began sobbing.
