Bankotsu stood up and pulled Olivia out of the water. She was so weak from sharing her powers she couldn't even stand. He wrapped her in is outer kimono and placed her in on the ground. “Olivia, are you dead?”

“No, I'm just tired. Don't worry about me.” He stood up and took two steps before falling flat on his face.

“Hey, what did you do to me, I feel drained.”

“I told you I was making you my mate. The change has started. Come here and go to sleep.” Bankotsu crawled over to her and laid his head on her lap. As his eyes began to close he heard her say, “I'll see you in two days Suki…”

Jakotsu sat on a rock fuming. `Why do I always catch those to kissing after the battles? He is so dead. I'm going to kill him. I'm going to see Inuyasha. If Kagome is gone he'll cheer me up!' Jakotsu hopped off the rock and placed his sword in its sheath. He walked down the road, singing and whistling.

Inuyasha stared up into the sky from his perch on the tree. Kagome was gone, and he hadn't seen Jakotsu in weeks. He missed him and since Kagome wasn't here it was the perfect time for him to come. `Wait a minute. I know that smell. It's Jakotsu!' “Jakotsu is that you?” Inuyasha leapt from the tree calling Jakotsu.

“Hey, Inuyasha. Please tell me that wench is gone.”

“She sure is. She'll be gone for two days.” Inuyasha hugged Jakotsu and purred. “I really missed you. Where have you been?”

“ I had stuff to do. Is Kagome the only one who comes through the well?”

“Yeah why?”

“There's a girl with us who claims to be from the same era. She's also a Vampire and I thank Aniki likes her.” Jakotsu pouted.

“You don't need him anyway. You've got me. I love you Jak. Why can't you see that? Please stay with me while Kagome is gone.”

“Alright. Let's have some fun.” Jakotsu kissed Inuyasha roughly on the lips and dragged him towards the water.

“Jakotsu, I wish I could stay with you forever. I really love you.” Inuyasha laid his head on Jakotsu's bare chest.

“You can Inuyasha. All you have to do is tell Kagome that you love me and let Koga have her.”

“I know, I just don't want to hurt her. I realize, however, that I love you and I want to be with you. When she comes back I'll tell her, but you have to stop obsessing over Bankotsu OK?”

“Alright, I will. Now let's go to sleep. You really wore me out.” His eyes closed and he sank into a blissful sleep.
