Tokui was in the middle of the desert. The sun was beating down on her already sweaty body. She was running. She looked over her shoulder. `It's still following me,' she thought, though she didn't know what it was. All she could see was a shadow.

She was finally so tired she fell over. It approached her. She shivered and looked over her shoulder. It was a human, at least it looked human. He had black hair with blue streaks and the coldest ocean blue eyes she had ever seen.

"Woof!" Tokui woke up and found a wolf standing over her. It started licking her face.

"Ah, stop it! Stop it, I'm up!" She rolled over and stood up.

"'Morning!" Kouga said smiling as he entered the cave.

"I don't remember ordering a wake up call," Tokui said, glaring at Kouga, who smiled back nervously. "Hey! Where is my Kendo stick!" Tokui had noticed her Kendo stick, which she knew was laying beside her last night, was gone.

"Um……. Oh, I have no clue, maybe someone came and took it," Kouga said nervously.

"Give…… It…… Back!" Tokui yelled. Ayame walked in right as Tokui attacked Kouga.

"Oh, sorry. I just wanted to clean it. It was all dirty," Ayame said. She held a clean Kendo stick out to Tokui, who took it slowly.

"……. Ok, I forgive you. Just don't do it again without my permission," Tokui said looking her Kendo stick over.

"Can we go now?" Kouga asked, finally recovered from his attack. Both girls looked at each other then nodded at him. "Thank you." He walked out of the cave.

When Tokui walked out of the cave, she had to immediately shut her eyes. The sun was so bright. No, it was only dawn. Her eyes had just adjusted to the dim cave, so the light hurt her eyes. When her eyes finally adjusted, she walked behind Ayame.

"We're going to find Inuyasha," Ayame said reading Tokui's mind.

"Oh. Does he think Koi and Mokumoku are with him?" Tokui asked staring at Kouga.

"Well, if they're not, Inuyasha can help us search for your friends," Ayame said. Tokui nodded her head. She had stayed up almost all night worrying about them, so she was still tried.

No one said anything, so Tokui decided to think to keep from getting bored. She thought about the dream with the boy with black hair and blue streaks. Who was he? Perhaps an enemy she didn't know about? Maybe he was the one that had found her friends. Whoever he was, there was something about his cold eyes that made her shiver. A past that he didn't want anyone to know about, maybe. He may just not have liked people. She spent a lot of time thinking about why he could have such cold eyes, every reason just as likely as the next. Then her mind drifted to Mokumoku.

Suddenly, Kouga stopped and sat down on a rock. All the others followed in his example and sat down. "We rest," Kouga said as he saw Tokui's confused face. She looked around and noticed that most of the others looked tired and worn out. So, she nodded and sat down by Ayame.

"You're not tired?" Ayame asked. Tokui shook her head and continued to think about her dream. "What are you think about? You've had that look of concentration all day long."

"Well, I had this dream. In it, I'm running from this guy. I fall over because I'm so tired. He walks over to me and we stare at each other for a minute. He has black hair and blue streak along with the coldest eyes I've ever seen a person have. They were a beautiful ocean blue. I've spent all day think about how his eyes came to be that way," Tokui said staring up at the sty.

"Ah, guy dreaming," Ayame said smiling at her. "A girl's favorite type of dream. I often dream of running in an open field with Kouga." This made Kouga snort, but didn't say anything.

"Well, I don't know why, but that guy scared me. Maybe it was because he was chasing me, but I think it has something to do with those eyes," Tokui replied. Ayame nodded.

"Kouga! Kouga! It's the birds of paradise!" yelled one of the wolf demons. Tokui looked up to see what looked like a funny looking bird. It had a large head, or was that it's body? Then large wings, two large claws and a tail. On top of the bird were two people.

"The what?! I thought they were dead!" Tokui yelled at Kouga, who looked just as shocked. He stood mouth open staring, until his body finally kicked in and ran at the leader, Gokurakuchou.

"Stay there!" Kouga yelled to Tokui. Tokui mouthed at him then looked extremely angry. She sat down muttering under her breath.

"Maybe Naraku revived them to come and get you. That could be why Kouga wants you to stay here. That and so you don't get hurt," Ayame said sitting beside her watching the battle.

"That's the problem with you people. You highly underestimate me. And if you aren't careful, it could be the end of you," Tokui said standing up. Ayame looked up at her.

Earlier that day, Koi woke up by the sound of lots of moving. She got up and discovered everyone else was already awake.

"You could have woke me up," she said yawning as she stepped out side. She found Inuyasha, Miroku, and Kei planning the day, well Sango, Yuuki, Kagome, and Shippo gathered supplies. Mokumoku stood on her own staring at the sky.

"Hm? Oh, sorry. I tried, but you wouldn't get up," Yuuki said looking over at her.

"Kei. Dream," Mokumoku said. Koi jumped back. Mokumoku was standing right in front of her.

"Argh! Here we go! What's so important about this dream? It was only a dream!" Kei yelled at Mokumoku, who shook her head.

"Kei dream of Tokui," she replied to him, making everyone go quiet. Mokumoku stared at Kei.

"Tokui? Tokui, our friend, Tokui? How is that possible he doesn't even know Tokui!" Koi objected.

"Kei chase blond in dream. Blond with green eyes. Very pretty. Tokui," Mokumoku said.

"Maybe it's just a convince that she looked almost like Tokui. I mean….. Hold on. I have a picture of her," Koi pulled her wallet out of her back pocket then pulled out a picture of Tokui and showed it to Kei.

"…….. That's her. That's the girl in my dream. I was chasing her for some reason. I don't know why," Kei said. Everyone went quiet.

"Well, lets go. The sooner we find your friend, the soon you can go back home," Inuyasha said standing up. Everyone nodded their head. Mokumoku continued to stare at Kei.

"She knows," Mokumoku said. "Tokui knows." Kei didn't say anything, just walked behind Inuyasha.

"Drop it, ok? I know he had a dream about Tokui. Maybe it signifies something," Koi said to Mokumoku as the group began their long journey. Mokumoku was still staring at Kei.

"Yes. Kei no trust. Past no good. Tokui knows," Mokumoku said.

"Don't be stupid. How would Tokui know? And how do you know his past is not good?" Koi asked disbelievingly.

"Mokumoku not Tokui. Eyes. No good," Mokumoku said. Kei turned around and stared at the two. He turned back around just as quickly.

"Do you think he heard us?" Kei asked. Mokumoku shook her head and didn't say anything else.

After about thirty minutes of walking, the wind suddenly became a lot stronger. "Kagura," Inuyasha said as he looked at their confused faces. All gulped and continued. There walked into a open lot.

Suddenly the wind got ten times harder, forcing the group off their feet. "Long time, no see, Inuyasha," came a voice.

"Well, well. Kagura, unfortunately, one of the demons revived by Naraku. How is he anyway?" Inuyasha taunted.

"Better than you! Dance of Wind Blades!" She waved her fan at Inuyasha. Wind blades flew right towards him. He just barely jumped out of the way.

"Kagome, keep Mokumoku and Koi back!" Inuyasha yelled and leaped at Kagura.

"What do you mean?" Ayame said staring at Tokui confused. Tokui started walking towards the Birds of Paradise. "What are you doing? Kouga said stay here!"

"I don't really care what the wolf demon says," Tokui said stopping. Ayame was drawn back. "Thanks for you help and generosity, but I don't need it."

She got beside Kouga, who stopped fighting and yelled, "I thought I told you to stay over there with Ayame!"

"Goodbye, Kouga. And when you find this Inuyasha, tell Mokumoku, she can trust this Kei guy," Tokui said not once looking at Kouga. She stepped forward and was grabbed by a Bird of Paradise. "I will talk to Naraku."

"Wait! Hold on! Grrrr. That stupid girl!" Kouga yelled as he watched all the Birds of Paradise take off and leave the wolf pack. "I sure hope she knows what she's doing… Come on! We need to find Inuyasha!"

Mokumoku senses perked straight up. "They have her. Kagura leave," she said staring at Kagura. The whole group looked confused.

"What are you………" Kagura said, but then noticed the Birds of Paradise flying above her head. "Well, Inuyasha, it seems that I must leave. Until next time." She smirked and jumped on her feather. In seconds she was gone.

"Inuyasha!" Kouga yelled running out from the forest.

"Kouga? Hey! Do you have their friend, Tokui?" Inuyasha yelled back. Kouga shook his head as he ran up to Inuyasha.

"I did. But then she got herself Kidnapped by the Birds of Paradise. Oh, and she said something about Mokumoku and trust Kei," Kouga said.

"Hm…… So, she thinks he's good even though he chased her? Interesting," Mokumoku said. Everyone, but Kouga looked shocked.

"She just spoke in a whole sentence! What' I miss?" Kei yelled shocked

"Tokui and I have a special bond that allows us to communicate telepathically. She said she had the same dream, but was interrupted before she could tell me in any more, she did mention though, that we have to destroy Naraku and put the jewel back together," Mokumoku said.

After a few minutes of silence and everyone trying to take it all in, Yuuki asked, "Why do you need to put the jewel back together?"

"Tokui and I both agree. That putting the jewel back together is the only way home," Mokumoku said.
