InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ A Winter Time Mating ❯ dinner... and a little fun? ( Chapter 3 )

Disclaimer: *sigh* the usual… I don't own Inuyasha (or do I?) or any of the crew so don't sue me. Oh… and I don't own the JFK Airport or the Enterprise car rental place so don't sue me for that either.

Chibi: see? I told you I would get in another chapter before I left and guess what? I DON'T HAVE TO LEAVE!!! Ain't it great? My parent's decided to cancel the trip for some reason and I can continue the story!!!

Yash: * great now maybe I can get Kagome to-*

Kagome: Yash!… I know that look on your face.

Yash: *…gulp…* uhhhhh…

Chibi: Anyway… those 2 and their fights… crazy, ne? You never know. Maybe Inuyasha will get what he wants, what do you think? Should he?

Chapter 3: Dinner… and a little fun?

Last chapter…

"Attention passengers, the pilot has turned on the fasten seatbelts signal. Please put them on, we will arriving in 10 minutes."

The passengers did what they were told and all but Inuyasha were excited to be in Denver.

`This terminal stinks.' Thought Inuyasha the moment they stepped into the airport. The plane had just landed and the group was on their way to get their bags.

"C'mon guys let's go. The baggage pick up is over here." Said Kagome looking at a sign pointing to the left.

On the way they noticed the different styles of clothes worn by people in America. Some had on coats due to the cold outside but the ones that had taken their coats off looked very strange indeed. The ones that didn't look normal were wearing all black and others were wearing things that didn't match at all.(Goths and freaks… I have a friend that is a Goth and they aren't that bad… oh… on with the story!!)

`I wonder why they are dressed like that. Oh well it would be rude to ask.' Thought Kagome.

After they got their bags they caught the bus that was going to take them to the Enterprise car rental shop. Miroku was sitting next to Sango and Inuyasha was on Miroku's other side with Kagome in his lap.

Since Miroku and Sango were trapped in their usual fight about Miroku's wandering hand they didn't notice the way Inuyasha and Kagome were acting. Every once in a while Kagome would move her hips slightly downward onto Inuyasha's lap while he was slowly moving the hand holding her around the waist up to her breast. Before he reached his goal she jumped up.

"We're here!" she yelled. As Kagome and Sango got up to get their bags and go inside they failed to notice the reaction Inuyasha was having to Kagome's sudden absence to his lap. Miroku however did notice and decided to bring it up later.

"Let's go Inuyasha. If we don't we'll be walking to the hotel and from the look that just passed over your face I'd say that you'd rather ride in the back seat with Kagome." Miroku said with a wink.

"Get your mind away from those thoughts now! I had better not catch you daydreaming about Kagome like that Miroku." He snapped. ` I'm the only one allowed to think of her like that.' With that said Inuyasha grabbed his bags and headed for the door, Miroku following behind.

About half an hour later the gang was headed out to get in their rented car. ( A black convertible corvette.) Inuyasha and Kagome got in the back and Sango in the front with Miroku who was driving.

"You do know how to get their right?" Asked Sango. "Well of course I do. Should I take a detour or drive faster and get to the hotel quickly so you two can have some privacy?" He asked Inuyasha and Kagome.

Kagome, now red as a tomato, got off of Inuyasha's lap and sat next to him. "It was your fault you know." She whispered hotly. "How so?" he asked with a smirk seeing her blush. Kagome hated talking about stuff like that but he couldn't help it. She was so cute when she blushed.

At the hotel after they had checked in…

The bellhop had just finished putting the last of their bags in the elevator and asked for the floor number. He pressed the button for floor 13 and then turned to look at the owner of the voice that had spoken. There before him stood a average height normal looking girl who he thought was very beautiful.

Kagome noticed the leering of the man and instinctively moved closer to Inuyasha and then behind him when the guy didn't stop his once over of her body, which he did at least 20 times.

Inuyasha noticed Kagome's movements and when he realized what had caused it he growled at the bellhop and pulled Kagome into a hug noticing how she calmed immediately when he did so.

The man then turned his eyes on Sango, but unlike Kagome she didn't try to hide. Instead she walked over to him and punched him in the face breaking his nose in the process. "Stop leering you pervert! Can't you see we have boyfriends?" She yelled "Yeah creep!" shouted Kagome.

DING…

`Finally.' Was the universal thought as the elevator came to a stop at level 13 and the doors opened. The guys gave the bellhop a good punch in the stomach on their way out. Inuyasha and Kagome headed for one room while Sango and Miroku headed to the one right next to theirs. Originally Kagome and Sango's moms had put the girls and guys in separate rooms but that had been changed by the girls themselves once they got to the hotel.

"C'mon Yash we have to hurry if we want to get to dinner on time!" "Yeah you to Miroku." The girls said as they headed into their rooms. "Brilliant!" the guys said at the same time heading into the rooms after their girlfriends. They hadn't been told the girls had switched the room arrangements and were very excited to get to see the girls change for dinner.

Inside Kagome and Inuyasha's room…

"No Miroku I am changing in the bathroom!! We aren't married so you have no right to see me that way!!" yelled Sango "But Sango-" SLAP. This is what Inuyasha had the privilege of hearing with his demon ears.

"Sounds like Miroku's not getting his way." He said. "What is it he wants this time?" Asked Kagome. "What else? He wants to see Sango of course. He hasn't even got the patience to let her do it on her own." `Like I do. Who knows… I might just get lucky one of these days.' What Inuyasha didn't know is he was going to get his wish sooner then even he had hoped.

There, before him stood Kagome with her dinner clothes laid out over the stool at the end of the bed getting ready to change.

"Uh, Kagome? Do you want me to leave?" he asked hesitantly. "No it's ok, and besides, I need you to help me with my dress Yash." Smiling he walked over to her to help her get changed.

Just as he was about to slide the dress over her body the door connecting their room to Miroku and Sango's room burst open.

"Kagome! There is no way this is going to work. I think we should-" Sango suddenly stopped talking at the sight she saw. Inuyasha was standing infront of Kagome with her dress in his hands and Kagome clad only in her underwear and bra. She started to turn around and talk saying she was sorry for just bursting in when, as if having sensed the scantily clad woman,(Kagome) Miroku came running into the room and just stared.

Once Inuyasha realized what he was staring at he grabbed Kagome and covered her with his body. "Oi, Miroku! Get your eyes the fuck away from her before I rip them out.!!" Yelled Inuyasha. Not understanding what he meant, Kagome moved to see what Inuyasha was talking about. When she saw the look on Miroku's face she quickly hid behind Inuyasha again and yelled to Sango. "Sango! Do something about you r pervert boyfriend please!!" Sango then turned to Miroku and punched him in the face much like she had done to the bellhop, but not enough to break anything. "C'mon you hentai. I mean seriously, she's one of your best friends, get a grip!" And with that she pulled him into their room.

"I am so not sitting next to or across from him at dinner tonight." Kagome said as Inuyasha finished putting her dress on and tying up the lace on the back. (Think of a corset but not quite like that. Only the back of it!) "Don't worry, you wont have to." Came Inuyasha's reply. "Thanks Yash. I never thought he would do that to me, but I guess it was expected. I mean he is a hentai after all." She gave him a kiss and went to put on her make up.

At Olive Garden…

"Wow this place is really great." Sango exclaimed. "Yeah, it's a great change from what we usually eat back home!" said Kagome.

"Well if you two are finished I think I will get the bill and then we can leave." Said Miroku. After the little episode earlier in the room they had decided they would make him pay for dinner. "All right but I figured we could go out for ice cream or something now." Said Sango. "Hey why don't you guys do that and Yash and I will walk around and then we can meet back here infront of this restaurant." Said Kagome. "Oh, alright." Sango answered.

The real reason Kagome didn't want to go with them was she was still a little weary of Miroku and she wanted some time with Inuyasha before they went skiing tomorrow morning.

After a while the wind picked up and Kagome started shivering. She hadn't thought to bring a heavier jacket than her sweater. Soon though her shivers changed from cold to heated as Inuyasha ran his hands up and down her arms trying to warm her and occasionally rubbing with his claws.

"Inuyasha, stop." She whispered. "Why Kagome? I am trying to warm you up." Replied Inuyasha. "That may be true but it is turning into something more than that and since we are back at the restaurant I don't want to start anything." She said

Just then Sango and Miroku pulled up and Sango opened the door to let them in the car. "Did you guys have fun?" Miroku asked with a devilish smirk on his face. "Don't even think about it you damn monk!!" `If you want to keep your assets that is.' Thought Inuyasha. Surprisingly Kagome's thoughts were about the same. "Just drive the car and shut up." She said causing Inuyasha to laugh.

When they got to their room Inuyasha made sure t lock the door to keep any unwanted visitors out. He was about to talk to Kagome about what she had meant before the car pulled up at the restaurant but she was in the bathroom taking a shower.

`I can't believe I said that to him. I practically told him I was ok with it. Which, I guess I am ready it's just that, I haven't talked to Sango or my mom about it and I really wanted one of their opinions.' Thought Kagome as she rinsed the shampoo from her hair. `I guess it's ok if I don't ask my mom because we have talked about it before and she understands the whole `mate' thing, so yeah, if the opportunity comes up them I suppose it would be ok. Yes, definitely! It will be fine.' With that last happy thought she got out of the shower and dressed in her booty shorts and tube top. (Nice outfit huh? Well it is her sleep clothes so…)

When she left the bathroom to tell Inuyasha about her decision she found him already fast asleep in the bed so she decided to wait. When she climbed in under the covers Inuyasha, out of instinct wrapped his arm around her bringing her up against him. Just as her head hit the pillow she fell asleep in her soon-to-be-mate's arms.

Chibi: awwww! She's finally gonna tell him! Yay!

Yash: Hey you wench, why did I have to be asleep when she got out of the shower? I could have finally had her!!!

Chibi: you'll find out later! It all goes with the story line… I think… actually, I really don't know.

Kagome: don't complain Yash! You never know what can happen if you're a good little doggy…

Yash: *…drool!…*

Chibi: well, uh, yeah. Anyway, now that that's through. I told you I would have the chapter done and now that I'm into it I might just get another chapter typed up today. I don't know if I'll up load it or not… it depends on what time it is when I finish it. Of course uploading doesn't take that long. If it ain't up today the I will definitely have the next chapter up tomorrow and since we aren't goin out of town I might get another in a few days but I'll just have to see how it goes.
