"Inuyasha" Kagome called out into the darkness. "Inuyasha where are you? What the hell is going on here first Sango is gone, then Miroku, and then Shippo, and now I can't find Inuyasha. I can't go home either because Inuyasha took the Shicon jewel with him where ever he went to" Kagome sighed and slumped down next to the well pulling at the tall grass that surrounded it. She sat there for a few minuets and just though about the argument the she and Inuyasha had had the previous day.

*flashback*

"You can go to hell for all I care, and rote there with that bitch Kikyo!"

"How dare you call her a bitch you little whelp!" howled Inuyasha.

"Yeah and what are you going to do about it? Hun? Nothing that's what, you're afraid, you think you're so great and that you can beat anyone but really you are a cowered and you can't do anything with out help!" Kagome's face was red with anger as she let all the stress out. "You're worthless, you're pathetic, you're..." Kagome was cut off by Inuyasha's hand slapping her hard across the face, so hard in fact that it sent her flying across the hut and into the sidewall. Kagome just lye there motionless as Inuyasha walked calmly out of the hut.

*End of flashback*

Kagome sighed again and felt the ground as if searching for something but not quite sure what. The grass was still a little wet form the rain that had been falling since the beginning of the week. Kagome looked around as if excepting to see Inuyasha pop out of the woods and came back to her, but he didn't. Kagome was close to crying when she heard a sound come from behind her.

"Inuyasha?" She spun around to see that it was not Inuyasha but that it was indeed his older brother Sesshomaru. His cold emotionless eyes stared at her.

"What do you want?" Kagome asked as she quickly jumped to her feet going into defense mode.

"You are Inuyasha's women aren't you?"

"I'm not his women O.K."

"My my very touchy today aren't we."

"What the hell are you doing here anyway?"

"No I think the question is what are you doing here and without your little puppy dog?" Mocked Sesshomaru. He then averted his eyes to the fact that she was now crying. "What's wrong women?"

"Nothing, I'm fine." She scolded him as she rubbed the tears out of her eyes trying to make it seem that she was indeed fine.

"Well obviously you're not because you were crying" he paused for a moment. "Stupid human emotions" mumbled angrily as he started to walk away, but he was stopped by a hand restraining his shoulder. He turned to see Kagome looking into his eyes. Sesshomaru felt over come by very strong emotions that he had never felt before. What was going on was the pirdful Sesshomaru finally dropping his act and falling head over heels for someone. No, it couldn't be; but then again, he couldn't take his eyes off of her. Before he knew what he was doing he gently pressed his lips against hers. Kagome's eyes widened then closed; she wrapped her arms around Sesshomaru embracing him fully.

"What am I doing" Kagome thought to herself "why am I embracing him like this? I mean he only tried to kill Inuyasha about a million times. I have to stop, but I can't. I can't stop holding him. I like the feel of him next to me, the feel of his lips against mine. Am I in love?"

When they broke apart, Kagome almost cried again. She had wanted to stay in his arms forever, (oh yeah Sesshomaru has both arms) she never wanted him to let go. Sesshomaru's were now filled with a compassion that Kagome had never seen before. Sesshomaru stared down at Kagome, his heart was filled with a love he had never known before, but before he could tell her how he felt he heard something in the woods and quickly ran off.

Inuyasha popped out of the woods looking extremely angry for some reason.

"Where the hell have you been? I've been looking all over for you?" Kagome just ignored him trying to think about what had just happened. But Inuyasha had other plans; he grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her through the woods.

"Inuyasha stop it! What's gotten in to you lately? Inuyasha I said stop it! Inuyasha, SIT BOY!" Inuyasha plummeted to the ground hitting it with full force. He growled deep in his throat.

Kagome was getting very tired of the way he was acting so she decide to just take off. Without saying a word to Inuyasha (who was still lying facedown on the ground), she stormed off in search of Sesshomaru.

"I have to talk to him," she thought to her self.
