I thought that having such a long fic in one chapter was a little overwhelming, so I decided to split it up, putting the lemon in another chapter. This way you're not so tired from the reading leading up to it, you can't enjoy the lemonade!! So I hope this works out better. Remember, mates, R&R!!

Chapter Two: For the Love of a Hanyou...

"Inu…yasha…"

The hanyou looked up, his eyes instantly connecting with Kagome's, "Kagome…"

Suddenly, Kagome broke out in a laugh, her tears of sadness quickly becoming that of laughter. A nervous smile broke out over Inuyasha's face for a moment before he quickly became irritated. He glared down at the girl in frustration, his fist clenching.

"Ok, just what the hell is so funny!?"

Kagome wiped at her eyes, her body still shaking with laughter, "You!!" she managed to gasp out between fits of giggles.

"Me?!?" Inuyasha exclaimed fiercely, "What did I do that was so funny??"

Kagome's laughter slowly died, but her body still shook with silent mirth, "G…Gomen nasai, Inuyasha! I just thought it was absolutely hilarious to hear you say something like that…especially when you apologized!"

Inuyasha's jaw dropped, a look of mock anger coming over his face. He turned his hand away, staring at Kagome from the corner of his eye, "Well then maybe I take it all back! Maybe I really do love Kikyo…" he sneered, "And if I do, just what are you gonna do about it?"

Suddenly, Kagome's hand lashed out, grabbing the front of Inuyasha's shirt and yanking the hanyou down.

"Whoa!!"

Kagome crushed her lips against his, her arms snaking around to pull him closer. For a moment, Inuyasha allowed her to kiss him, still recovering from the shock of such a bold move. Then he moved his arms around Kagome's waist and neck, pulling her body up to meet his. His tongue brushed against her lips, searching for entry into her warm mouth. Kagome quickly obliged, parting her lips slightly to allow Inuyasha access for which Inuyasha took advantage.

Inuyasha ravished in the sweet taste of her mouth, his mind lost in the glorious wonders of kissing this girl whom he'd been traveling with for months now. His hand moved from her neck and down the front of her shirt, gently playing with the buttons of her blouse. He wanted it off. He could feel his arousal growing, pressing against the hem of his pants.

Kagome broke the kiss, fully aware of Inuyasha's want, her hand traveling down to brush the growing bulge in his trousers. Inuyasha stifled a groan, his eyes snapping shut as Kagome pressed her hand against his arousal, gently rubbing it.

"K-Kagome…"

The girl stared up at his strained face, "Yes, Inuyasha? Was there something you wanted?"

Inuyasha nodded, tiny beads of sweat beginning to pop out over his face, "I want…"

Kagome's searching hand found the top of his pants and began to play with the string, absently tugging at the knot there as her other hand worked. She smirked up at him, her eyes flashing with mischief, "You want what, Inuyasha…?"

Inuyasha gulped as the knot came undone and Kagome's hands began to make their way inside. He shivered involuntarily, impatiently waiting for the contact that would sending him spinning away into utter bliss, "Kagome, I want…ungh!!"

Two soft hands found their way around his shaft, gripping it tightly in their tiny forms. Inuyasha's head arched back, his triangle ears pressing flat against his head. He rolled over onto his back, taking Kagome with him until she was on top, her hands still maintaining contact with his pulsing length.

The girl removed a hand to pull down Inuyasha's pants. The hanyou's hot slab sprang forth from its binding, standing tall and muscular in Kagome's small hand. The girl stared at it in amazement; this being her first time to ever see the one thing that a man took the most pride in…and Inuyasha should have a lot of pride.

"Wow…" she gasped, testing her hand. Inuyasha jerked slightly as her finger rolled over the top of his head, running over the droplet of pre-cum that sprang forth. Kagome froze at the moment, suddenly unsure of herself. Was he enjoying this? His face was so tight…it looked like he was in pain.

Inuyasha tried to move against Kagome's hand, but it seemed as though the girl had turned into a statue. He opened his eyes and stared up at Kagome, a puzzled look crossing his face. "Kagome…are you alright?"

Kagome blushed slightly, "G-Gomen Inuyasha…I really don't know what…"

Inuyasha caught her hands before they could leave his shaft, a gentle smile gracing his features, "No! Don't worry about it, Kagome." he leaned forward, planting a small kiss on her lips, "Just do whatever feels right to you…trust me, if you hurt me you'll know!"

Kagome's blush deepened, "I'm not your…you know…?"

"My first?" Inuyasha's smile wavered, "No actually…"

"Who was?" Kagome whispered, already dreading the answer.

Inuyasha hesitated for a moment before answering, "Kikyo was…a long time ago…"

"So…I'm competing with her, huh?" Kagome's face suddenly turned fierce, her grip tightening around Inuyasha's length, "So I'm having to compete with a dead girl!? Well I can do that…"

Inuyasha winced in pain as her hands became even tighter. He was scared. "Uh…Kagome…?"

Kagome began to pump her hands, her eyes staring out through the forest, unnoticing of the pain on Inuyasha's face as her hands became tighter, her pumps faster.

Inuyasha bucked as Kagome's thumb rolled over the tip, "Oh gods…" His eyes snapped shut, his mouth falling open in shallow pants, "Ungh…Kagome…"

Kagome's pumps increased, her other hand coming down to grip Inuyasha's soft globes, her fingers playing with them, bouncing them in her palm. Inuyasha's eyes flickered to her's, her entire face a mask of heavy concentration as she pumped rapidly.

She doesn't realize what she's doing, Inuyasha thought, his eyes fluttering closed, and my gods she is good with her hands!!

Sweat began to bead out over Inuyasha's face, his hips bucking to meet Kagome's hands, each pump bringing him closer and closer to the edge. Kagome's hand moved up and down the nerve riddled skin, the tan prong taking and giving with each pull. Kagome's unseeing eyes stared at her lover, watching as the half-man squirmed on the ground. His eyes were shut and his mouth slack as his head jerked from side to side with each movement of her hand.

She squeezed again, watching in amazement as Inuyasha's whole body seemed to spasm.

"Ugh!! Kagome…!" Inuyasha's claws dug into the grass, "Kagome…don't stop…"

Kagome's tongue ran the length of Inuyasha's length, a grim smile passing her lips as she heard Inuyasha moan. His hips bucked, driving his steaming length deeper into her tight mouth. Kagome was only too happy to oblige him to his need. Her head bobbed up and down the shaft, moving with her hands, not yet deep-throating him, but doing her best to bring him to release.

Inuyasha flipped Kagome on to her back, jerking off his robe and undershirt until he stood before Kagome, displaying his finely chiseled chest. Kagome stared up at the hanyou, a strange sensation running through her body. Her eyes traveled over his many battle scars…wounds he'd received from protecting her.

She leaned forward, planting a kiss on top of his nipple. She didn't know why, but it just seemed like the right thing to do…and it was. Inuyasha grunted as Kagome's tongue played with his rock like nipples, swirling the nubs with her tongue. She moved to the other nipple, teasing it until it became as hard as its partner.

Kagome moved against Inuyasha's hand, wanting the hanyou to continue, but Inuyasha seemed to have frozen in time, "Inuyasha…" she wined. She looked up at his stoic expression, worry etched on her face, "Inuyasha, what is wrong with you?"

Kagome stared at the frozen Inuyasha before following his gaze. Spying the object of his concern, Kagome rolled her eyes, letting out an exasperated sigh. She sat up, shrugging off the remains of her shirt and snapping off the clasp that held her bra together.

Inuyasha watched the article fall to the ground, his head tilting with curiosity, "What is that thing?"

"A bra." Kagome said shortly, "In my time, you're supposed to wear them underneath your clothing."

Inuyasha looked horrified, "Why would they make you wear such a thing? I don't understand why a woman would need two layers to cover her breasts when one is more than enough!"

Kagome punched him lightly, "You pig! We wear bras to keep our nipples from popping out whenever it gets cold!"
Inuyasha stared at her a moment longer before shrugging and lowering his head, "I suppose so…" he paused, "Is there anything else I should be warned about before hand?"

"Well I guess if you're worried about my underw…"

"I'm not."

Kagome blushed, "Oh…well never mind then…"

Inuyasha smirked before bringing down his head to capture one of Kagome's breasts between his teeth, his fangs gently nipping the flesh around her peaks. Kagome's mouth fell open in amazement at the pleasure that seemed to be sweeping over her chest. She gripped his silver hair, a soft moan escaping from between her lips. Inuyasha transferred his attention to the other breast, suckling on it as he kneaded the neglected mound with his hand.

Inuyasha's hand left her breast, traveling down the front of her body. His eyes shifted up to Kagome's face, watching her as she moaned. A tiny smirk graced his lips as his hand continued to move down, pausing at the mound of curly black hair between her legs. Kagome's head jerked down, her eyes wide with shock.

"Inuyasha…"

The dog demon came back up, kissing Kagome as he slid a finger into her tight channel. Kagome's body arched from the ground, her neck bending back, exposing her soft, white flesh to Inuyasha, which the hanyou quickly took advantage of. He showered her neck with soft butterfly kisses, nipping at the flesh and massaging the shallow bite marks. He didn't dare draw blood…not yet. This was Kagome's first time and for him to mark her was wrong in every way. Even if she didn't know what it meant, the moment she found out…

He shook his head, clearing the disturbing thought from his mind before turning back to concentrate at the task at hand. Literally.

Kagome moaned as Inuyasha inserted another finger, pumping his fingers inside her tight channel, stretching her and readying her for entry. The dog-demon's shaft twitched at his name, happiness washing over him at the sound of his name moaned from between her soft lips. Kagome breathed a sigh of pleasure as Inuyasha kissed her just above her wet entry, nuzzling her curls.

He looked back up at her and smiled, "Allow me…"

Inuyasha pulled her legs apart, holding them down with his arms as he opened her moist folds, ravishing at the sight before him. He cast one last look at Kagome before lowering his mouth to her sweet mound, his tongue darting out to taste her.

A scream erupted from Kagome, her hands digging into Inuyasha's silver strands. The half-demon winced slightly, but blocked out the pain, intent on giving his love the greatest pleasure at any expense. He kissed her sweet petals, licking it up and down with his tongue before he darted in, tasting her insides.

Kagome's head tossed back and forth, her body flopping on the ground. Inuyasha brought up a hand to still her movements, wise to her release. She was so close now…but he wanted to be buried inside of her body before she came. He wanted to feel her insides clench around him as he drove them both to ecstasy…be inside of her when the moment came.

He removed his mouth from her already dripping body, his hand grasping his length as he kicked off his pants completely and positioned himself at her entrance. He stared down at Kagome, watching her sweaty face with amazement and wonder. Humans were such hard creatures at times…but some times, their true nature came out, especially in such intimate situations. Kagome was no exception. She was just as fragile, if not more so, than any other human. And now, Inuyasha was preparing himself to take a piece of her fragility and make it his own.

Kagome stared back into his golden eyes, fully aware of his intentions. Inuyasha smiled, his eyes hooded with need.

"Kagome…I want you to be sure about this…"

The girl wrapped her arms around his neck, returning a hesitant smile, "I-I'm sure, Inuyasha…I know you won't hurt me…"

"But it's going to hurt you…but only for a moment…"

Kagome nodded, "I know…just get it over with quickly."

Inuyasha nodded, beginning to push into Kagome. The girl squeezed her eyes shut, digging her nails into his back and preparing her body. Inuyasha paused at her virginal barrier, closing his eyes.

"I'm so sorry Kagome…"

He crushed his lips against hers, slamming his length in to the hilt. Kagome arched off the ground, screaming against Inuyasha's lips in pain. Tears began to well from her eyes, her hands digging deeper into his back. Inuyasha gently stroked her hair, struggling to calm the pain filled girl below him. He could feel Kagome's body begin to relax against his touch and he finally pulled away from her, staring down into her dry eyes.

"Are you alright?" he asked worriedly, "Do you want me to stop?"

Kagome shook her head, wiping away her tears. Slowly, she moved her hips against Inuyasha, testing him and adjusting. "No…no I'm fine, just…just keep going Inuyasha…"

The hanyou nodded, beginning to move against Kagome in a slow dance of love. He started slowly, gently rocking his hips back and forth against Kagome, struggling to remain in control of his pleasured body. He pulled out to the tip before driving himself back in, each stroke intended to give Kagome as much pleasure as possible. A thin sheen of sweat decorated his muscular body as he pushed against her.

"Faster Inuyasha…" Kagome whispered, pushing her hips up to meet his thrusts.

Groaning, Inuyasha obeyed, picking up his pace, his body jerking against hers as his rhythm slowly increased in intensity until he was mercilessly banging against her body, their harsh moans mingling in the starry night. Inuyasha struggled against his love's body. They were still going too slow for his liking. He wrapped an arm around her back, supporting their bodies with the other hand as he hoisted Kagome against his chest. He buried his face in her hair, breathing in the sweet fragrance as he moved deeper inside her body.

Kagome gasped as a shock of pleasure ripped through her body in time with Inuyasha's thrusts. With each stroke he hit that sweet spot within her, filling her to the brim with unthinkable feelings. Her lips moved to the nape of his neck, softly kissing it, rolling her tongue across his sweaty skin.

Inuyasha shivered as Kagome's licked him, a small smirk lighting up his face. Kagome really did love him, and he her. Now that they were joined, nothing in the world could stop him from completing his love. After all that they'd been through, this was the least that he could give her…for now. And right now, all that mattered to him was finishing their sexual act.

He could feel the pressure building up once more and he knew he was going to come soon. He adjusted his body, smashing against Kagome, encouraging her to match his pace…which she did willfully.

She closed her eyes, her mouth slack, "Inu…yasha…"

"Kagome…" he hissed, his eyes squeezed shut as the pressure built.

She moaned loudly, cutting off his sentence, "Do it Inuyasha…"

The hanyou kissed Kagome viciously. "You first…"

He arched back and brought his length ramming down into Kagome, holding back his own orgasm until Kagome completed her own. Despite being a half-demon, it took everything he had not to come right then. Kagome's hands twisted around his beads, her head titled back as she let out a scream that threatened to wake the dead.

"Inuyassshhhaaaaa!!"

Her walls clamped down around Inuyasha's hard prong, pushing him over the edge. His vision blurred to a hazy white as he thrust into her one last time before letting forth a hot gusher of cream into her welcoming body.

Exhausted, Inuyasha lowered Kagome to the ground, collapsing on top of her. He knew that he should remove himself from within her dripping cavity, but the sensation of knowing that she had willingly given herself to him as too much. He lifted his head and stared into her soft brown eyes with a gentle smile.

"I hope I've proven myself."

Kagome's staring at him, glaring in mock anger, "No. All you've proven is that you can have sex. You still haven't shown me that you've forgotten about Kikyo."

Inuyasha frowned, "Please Kagome…I'm trying my best…"

Kagome stroked his hair, gently planting a kiss on his forehead, "I'm only playing with you, Inuyasha. I know that you care about me." A mischievous smile broke out on her face, "So was I better than Kikyo?"

"Much better." Inuyasha whispered with a sigh. He pulled Kagome against him and rolled on his side so he could get a better look at his lover. He grabbed his red kimono, draping it over their bodies. Kagome's eyes were beginning to flutter shut, her hand coming up to stifle a yawn. She snuggled up closer against Inuyasha, bathing in the heat of his body.

"I love you…Inuyasha…"

The hanyou smiled, "I love you too…"

Kagome returned the smile before her eyes closed as sleep took over her body. She could feel Inuyasha's hand slowly running through her hair, soothing her to sleep as she succumbed to her dreams.

Inuyasha stared at the sleeping form in his arms, another sigh of content escaping from his lips. She was so beautiful…how was it that he was blessed to find such a wonderful person. As he began to drift off to sleep, his keen ears picked up the sound of approaching footsteps. He wrapped his arms around Kagome protectively, a low growl escaping from within his throat as the threat came closer.

"Did you finally have your way with her?"

Inuyasha glared at his older brother, his hands searching for his missing Tessaiga. His heart clutched when he realized it was still somewhere in the woods. Sesshomaru stared at the helpless hanyou before him.

"Calm yourself. I would not attack you at such a time."

Inuyasha's growl fell away, but he continued to glare venomously, "Oh yea? That's a big surprise…especially for a guy like you."

Sesshomaru frowned slightly, "I may hate you, Inuyasha, however, I do have enough respect for any creature that I would not kill them when they are mating…or have just finished."

"So you do have a heart."

"And you have no place in it, Inuyasha." Sesshomaru stepped closer to Inuyasha, allowing the half-dog to see the gleaming sword in his hands.

Inuyasha fell silent, staring at the sword and then at Sesshomaru, "So you did come to kill me after all…" he looked down at Kagome, running a finger across her flushed cheek, "Well if you're going to do it, get it over with."

The powerful youkai smirked, "You would have me strike, and knowing that your human mate will also be killed? I'm not sure if that's courageous or stupid."

"I didn't say that I wanted her to die," Inuyasha snapped, "You just say when and where and we'll get this over with."
Sesshomaru sheathed his massive sword, casting his younger brother a look, "The way you bounce between wanting to die and wanting to live sickens me. A true demon would fight; regardless of who might be injured in the process…but I forget that you're only half youkai…"

Inuyasha snarled, "Half demon or full I can still kick your ass either way!"

"Tell me, Inuyasha," Sesshomaru said, a dark glint in his eyes, "Will you continue perusing your foolish hopes to become a full youkai once the Shikon no Tama is whole again?"

The hanyou frowned at Sesshomaru, but before he could answer, the demon turned away, his fur cape fluttering in the low breeze.

"Never mind. The time will come when you have the chance to prove yourself as either a worthy demon…or just some lowly servant. Enjoy your woman, hanyou…and look out for Akumu."

Without another word passing between them, Sesshomaru disappeared into the forest. Inuyasha stared after his departed form, his eyebrow notched with worry. There would be no sleep for him tonight, even though his spent body desperately needed it. As long as the combined threats of Sesshomaru and the wolf youkai Akumu, he could not sleep as long as Kagome needed to be protected…and he would stay awake a thousand years to keep his love safely in his arms.
