~~~Kagura went down to the stream to clean up after all that throwing up and crying, when she felt it. The painfull stab of pain in her chest, where her heart should be. Naraku was summoning her. OOH GODS! What am I going to do? Kagura cried inside of her mind. She thought of not responding or heeding the call, but the pain only intesified everytime she thought to refuse his summons. She had no choice, she had to go to him. She let tears track her face once more as she pulled out her feather and got upon it once it had transformed. The feather took the air with her on it and she headed towards Narakus castle. She prayed with all her heart that somehow Naraku would find out, that he wouldnt be able to smell that she was with pups, but she was deluting herself she knew, but she had no other hope, no other options. Even if by chance Kouga were to become a man, and the mate he was now, he couldnt do anything to stop her from going to Naraku, if she didnt go, it would be her death and thus the death of her yet unborn pups. She had truelly hoped that Naraku wouldnt summon her for awhile, she only needed three months till her pups were born. But there was no hope now. All she could dare wish for was that Naraku wouldnt hurt her or her unborn pups.

~~~Kouga followed what little scent he could of his enemy, now mate. It was hard to track her because she was an elemental demon and did most of her traveling by air. But somehow he had done it, and came upon a cave. When he got there her sickening stench was all over the place, and sickening it was, not only because he couldnt stand the bitch, but because he could smell her puke all over the place. For a brief moment he felt offended, his pride automaticly thought that she was puking because the thought of him as a mate was that disgusting to her. Who is she to judge me?? He growled. It is I who am offended by HER. But as he went further into the cave he could smell the scent of tears and something else. He jerked back from the smell and growled. It was impossible. It couldnt be true. He sniffed the cave more going every inch of it, taking time to not miss anything. Finally his fears were confirmed. She was pregnanat with his pups. He had to find her, he needed to know what her plans were for HIS pups. She was evil, would she hurt her own pups to get back at him and cause him pain? Then he thought of Naraku and his face paled. This cant be happening he thought.

~~~Kagura arrived at Naraku's castle. She held her trembling and fear in check, it would not do to appear before Naraku like that. When she got to his personal sitting room she saw him upon some pillows, his long black hair cascading down his back in waves and soft curls. He was handsome, but this body was not his, it was the young lords he had used to possese. Naraku looked up at her, his red eyes watching her curiously. Kagura fought the urge to flee and stood still, then bowed to him.

"You called for me Naraku?" she asked in a calm voice, although inside she was shaking with fear.

"Yes Kagura...I have need of you." he replied smoothly, gruffly. Kagura looked up at him and saw a smile spread across his face, but a smile on Naraku was not a good thing.

"Come here Kagura." he commanded. Kagura flinched and inside she warred with the thought of her chances if she fled. How far could she go before he killed her? And if she escaped somehow where would she go anyway? To Kouga? Hardly, he may have mated with her, but he would never accept her as his true mate and his tribe would kill her if she showed her face there.

"I SAID COME HEREEEE!" Naraku roared, making Kagura jump and rush to his side. Naraku looked at her, then reached up to the collar of her kimono, she tried not to flinch at his touch but she couldnt help it. Naraku growled and pulled her Kimono open.

~~~Naraku had already known what he would find once he bared Kagura's neck to himself. He had seen all that had trinspired during the Human wench Kagome's becoming. He had seen his very own servant taken by that wolf prince Kouga, and watched as she had taken him. He had thought it amusing at first, but then realized that now another had claim to her besides him and he could not allow that. He had seen all this threw his other servants magic mirror. He had been keeping an eye out for Inuyasha and his misfit pack, when all this had taken place. Now he confirmed what he already knew when he saw the mark upon Kagura's neck.

"Soo Kagura..you are mated are you? Damaged goods? Easily taken by your worst enemy as well.....you are truelly pathetic and weak...I think I shall have to rid myself of you, for a mated demon is not something I care to have at my side, they can be...unpredictable." Naraku stated with an evil gleam in his eyes. He saw Kagura trembling now and beads of sweat forming upon her brow. It was then he caught her scent of utter fear..and something else. Now this something else surprised him, but even as he took the information inside him, an evil plan was already forming in his mind.

~~~Soo Kagura is carring that wolf prince's pups is she? Interesting. I have yet to be succesfull in getting the two shards he carries in his legs. Maybe I can use his unborn pups to my advantage? But what good are threats when they are not yet a real reality to him? It was then he had a brilliant idea. Before Kagura knew what he was up to, or had a chance to do anything about it, he placed a hand upon her abdoman and a bolt of light entered her. Kagura shrieked and fell to the ground wide eyed. Naraku just laughed that awfull cackle of his.

~~~Kagura awoke with a scream. She could still remember the feel of the bolt Naraku had sent into her body. Instinctively she reached down to her stomache, to her unborn pups. What she felt made her look down and scream again. No No No, this is not possible her mind screamed. Her stomache was not flat any longer but was protruding outward with the growth of her pups. Theres no way this is possible, she cried outloud. Thats when she heard Narakus laughter fill the dark room where she lay. She could not see him but she heard him plainly enough.

"What have you done to me?" she cried into the darkness.

"Why Kagura, I thought you would be pleased that I was gracious enough to speed along your pregnancy..just think?...instead of waiting 3 whole months to see your pups born, you can see them any time now....I could not progress your pregnancy to the brink of labor or it might of harmed the little ones you carry, but you should be giving birth to them any day now..by the way...you might sense that you are about to have a girl and a boy..what shall you name them?" he asked in a smooth as silk voice, that did not fool Kagura. Her eyes flashed red with anger, and fear.

"Why?...Why have you done this to me?" She whispered angerly.

"Because I wanted to aid you Kagura...and I think Kouga will be pleased as well to see his pups born...so pleased that he will now doubt thank me by giving me the two shards he holds." Naraku replied. So that was his game, Kagura thought. He was going to use her pups as ransom for the shards. She would not allow this.

"There is nothing you can do about this Kagura...I own you and can kill you in a blink of an eye..do not forget that...besides it was you who bought this upon yourself by mating with that wolf..now you have to deal with the consequences of your actions." Naraku warned, after he had seen the look of rebelious anger in her eyes. This might cause a slight problem he thought. Her maternal instincts might cause her to do something foolish. But Naraku did not worry, he had absolute power over Kagura and now her offspring as well. Motherly instincts or not, he had absolute confindence that he controlled this situation and that nothing could go wrong. He seemed to forget that one did not mess with a mother's pups. Every demon knew that.
