Chapter 24~Kyoto to the Rescue!

~~~When Kouga saw all the other around him, he knew automaticly why they were there. He could not blame them for anything that had happened since it all had happened soo fast and before any of them could come to his aid. But his pride. The part of him that was wolf Prince was angry. They had disregarded his wishes and came when he told them NOT TO! He turned to them and let them have all the anger that he felt.

"I told you NOT to interfere!!!.....now my pup is in Narakus hands and its all your FAULT!" Kouga shouted. Everyone just glared at him but didnt say a word. They knew he was just venting his rage and his hurt, his pain. When Kouga got no real response from them he muttered curses and ranted and raved till he was at his knees crying by Kagura's lifeless form.

"Daddy???..Daddy?" came Kaze's soft innocent voice. Kouga looked up at his son and grabbed him, pulling him into a tight embrace. His Son! His Son! He cried over and over in his mind, tears streaking his face.

"Daddy please..cant..cant breath." stated Kaze in a breathless voice, although he cheerished his fathers embrace. He had not known it before and had only imagined it, but it was soo much better, he just wished his sister Kali could enjoy it with him. At the thought of his sister he started to cry.

"My son?? Wha..What is the matter?" Kouga asked. although if he was thinking he would have known. How could one not hurt and weep when they had just lost their mother and sister in the same moment?

"Daddy?? Dont you love Kali??" came Kaze's small voice. Kouga looked like if he had been slapped and his mouth hung open in shock.

"OF COURSE I LOVE KALI..SHE IS MY PUP!!!" Kouga yelled, Kaze's little ears flattened on the top of his head to keep the hurt of his fathers volume from causing more pain to his sensitive hearing.

"Then why are we not going after her daddy?? I want Kali!!!" Kaze cried. He looked much older, but in reality was only over a week old. Kouga would do anything to stop the tears on his sons face but he didnt know what to tell him, he had no Idea where Naraku was, no more than he had when he had first taken his pups.

~~~Before anyone could say a word Kyoto walked up to the pair and knelt on her knees. She smiled at Kaze and ruffled his hair. With tears in his violet red eyes he weakly smiled at her.

"Soo sweet..soo beautifull..." Kyoto whispered thinking of what her and Miroku's children might look like some day.

"Your pretty." Kaze stated with tearfilled eyes. Kyoto smiled. The others watched not really knowing what to do.

"Thank you Kaze."

"You know my name?"

"Yes..your sister told me."

"My sister?? when?? you cant know Kali."

"But I know her from her thoughts..when she sent them to your pappa." Kyoto explained. Kaze just made an O look with his lips as he understood, He knew of his sisters power.

"Kaze?"

"Yes?' he replied absently.

"Can you sense your sister?? is she trying to talk to you right now?" Kyoto asked softly. Kaze got a far away look in his eyes and tears pooled at the ends.

"No..she is not awake..the bad man made her sleep..he hurt Kali." Kaze replied breaking down into tears. Kouga grabbed his son and held him as the pup cried in his chest. Kouga trying hard not to cry himself. He wanted his daughter. He felt like half his heart and sould was gone. He needed her. Wanted her. Loved her. Would die for her.

"Kaze?" Kyoto spoke to him.

"Yes?" he squeeked sorrowfully as he glanced over his shoulder and looked at the beautifull woman.

"If Kali contacts you..will you let me know?? even if she doesnt but you feel her awake?? will you tell me?" Kyoto asked.

"Will you help bring Kali back?" Kaze asked.

"I will try." Kyoto smiled.

"Ok." he said as he curled up into his fathers chest and welcomed his warmth and love. Kouga looked at Kyoto then the group.

"You were right...I should never have trusted Naraku...I thank you..for coming to my aid...even against my wishes..please...stay the night at my den." Kouga offered graciously, although it did actually gall him inside to offer them shelter, if anyone Inuyasha at least. His mate was dead and he still felt a deep hole and sorrow in his soul, but no matter how he felt, even if he admitted to not loveing Kagome anymore, which he didnt, he couldnt help but spar verbally and physically with the half dog demon.

"Why did you want to know when Kaze felt or sensed his sister?" Miroku asked his mate as he held her tightly that night.

"If Kaze can sense his sister and she talks to him?...I can find her..and lead us to Narakus castle and free her." replied Kyoto with a tired sigh.

"But how?" Miroku asked in surprise and awe.

"Since Kaze and Kali are twins and can communicate telepathicly...I can use Kaze as a beacon per say and pin point where Kali is..it will take energy..but I can find her and the rest of you can rescue her." Kyoto expalined and smiled tiredly as she snuggled into her mates arms and embrace.

"You amaze me every day Mate...and if we should find Naraku and save Kouga's daughter then you will have all the glory since it is you who led us to her and Naraku." Miroku replied with pride. Kyoto sighed.

"Thats a big if Monk..and even soo..I do not wish praise or anything else..I just want them to be safe..with Kouga..happy...they already witnessed their mothers death..no child should have to see such a thing." Kyoto replied with sorrow. She thought of her own mothers death, and thought of Mirokus loss as well. So much pain in the world. No child should ever see or feel such grief or pain. And if she could she would make sure Kali had her father. A man/demon who would love her and protect her with his life. No child could ask for more than what Kouga felt for his pups. So she would do what ever it took to see them BOTH with Kouga safe and sound.
