“Kaze, you called me Lord” Aiko said materializing in front of him.
“Yes love, the song you will sing to night is to be Forest” he said. A slight malicious grin on his lips.
“But Kaze, You know that song will not bless the village people. The only thing it will do is kill their will, make them weak to …. No, you wouldn’t. Why?”
Smiling wider “because I can my dear. Because they can do nothing to stop me, because I love to see that look in those horrible human’s eyes. When the y realize that they gave there gold, treasure and even there own children to keep there little town going.” “And they call me malicious, vindictive, malevolent and evil. But I wouldn’t sell my child’s life for mine. Or should I say our child’s life? Kaze asked moving to stand behind her. Putting his arm around her waist and drawling her against him. Kaze asked “My dear, where were you? You were not in your room and you were blocking your presence from me.”
“I was just relaxing in a meadow, I did not mean to cause any trouble,” Aiko replied through clenched teeth.
“You are lying, I know you like no other. Don’t lie to me, Aiko, what were you doing?”
“I was thinking about your proposal.” Aiko said wincing ever so slightly.
“And your answer is?”
“I … I …” Think about the child, Aiko thinks to herself, “I know not yet but I still will think on it.”
“This time I will not make you tell me the truth. But know this I will not wait for long. You will be mine, forget about him.” Kaze spit out the word him as if it was very distasteful.
“ What him, I did as you said, even though he means nothing to me but even if he never should up I would never…”
“Ahh, watch what you say Aiko, Leila is still a little young for my taste but if it will get me you … I’ll make an exception.”
“Damn Kaze, why? Leave me be! “Aiko crumbled to her knees beating the floor with her fist. Kaze walked up to her gathering her in his arms, fighting off her struggling easily and sat on his thrown with Aiko in his lap.
“I want you because you gave your mortal life, family and all to be by my side.” Pain like no other struck her chest as Kaze mentioned the damned contract that cost her only family, her father.
“I want you because now that you grew into something to want, you dare to try to deny me. I want you because your beautiful, and you stir me the way know other of me wind singers due. You were pretty as a human and you sung well but now your beauty is revealed by only a hand full of women in any of the three worlds and your voice is well, the wind. Mysterious, magical, furious, and comforting”
Aiko dissolved out of Kaze’s arms “you bastard, you could have back all your…”
Kaze moved fast as light, grabbing her around the waist and pulling her tight against him” but I don’t want them, I WANT YOU!!! And I will have you or Leila will suffer for your refusal. Aiko turned her face a way when her eyes began to fill with tears. I won’t cry not for my mistake and not for a man I don’t even know and never will. Aiko’s mind turned to the man, Sesshoumaru, the name slide through her mind. She thought about his tall regal form, liquid gold eyes, and perfect face. She shudder at the thought of his hand on her arm as it was for that second before she hit him. Kaze grabbed her arm twisting it, while making the wind push her to the floor. Bending down Kaze said eerily sweet, “ You are not listening ,love, leave go do my bidding.” Gliding away he let go of her arm but as Aiko got to her feet her hands clenched in fists, he turned.
“ Remember MY wind siren who is your master. Tell your friend not to come here again, and never think of him again.”
“He is not here”, Aiko’s voice trembled but she could not help it.
“But he is, I let him in. Come kiss me.” Aiko resisted at first then rushed to Kaze as he used her own body against her, making it feel like her heart was being crushed. Kaze kissed her and she tried to stay still but the pain would not end she knew until she kissed him back. Aiko collapsed against him as the pain slowly eased off.
“ Go now”, Kaze said his voice resonant in her head as he walking away ,his body blowing away.
